Much enjoyed our 1 night stay at Kar's hotel. The room was very comfortable with beautiful view of the castle. Everything can be done by foot, going to town, the cheese shops, the restaurants and the castle. The hotel manager was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was very good

A great stay
Perfect stay. I loved everything about Kars Oteli. The building is one of the few remaining old Russian mansions in Kars, my room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful long outside balcony. The bed was superb. The room had a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, also a cafetière. A good breakfast. Most of all Metin Bey was excellent, he found me a Turkish tour (museums, Ani, lake çıldır) for the next day, and helped with every query. He kindly packed me a good breakfast for the doğu ekspresi - lucky as there's no food on the train (only on the tourist one). I highly recommend staying here.

I strongly endorse this hotel for its prime location, a mere ten-minute walk from the train station. The staff is amicable and the service is accommodating. Guests can enjoy a broad array of breakfast options. Additionally, the beds are cozy, and the rooms are both warm and serene. Wifi works without issues in the whole Hotel

Central location in a refurbished Russian stone mansion. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room with all the amenities you need, including mini-fridge.

Is the second time we come to this hotel and everything is perfect, the location is super convenient, the breakfast very good and staff is very helpful and friendly, highly recommended.
