Great hotel in Kars. Great breakfast with very well served. Rooms are clean enough and all utilities you need. Big and relaxed. Breakfast is open buffet and lots of selections. You will feel local and international tastes at the same time. Staffs are pretty nice and well helpfull in anything. Definitely worth it !

The room is not big, but clean, everything you need is there, a kettle, a hair dryer, a mini fridge, a TV, although we didn't use it because we don't know the language. At the reception, without knowing the language, we checked in quite quickly and clearly, the staff is polite, they explained everything with gestures. This hotel is easy walking distance to the main shops and transportation to Ani, as well as the Kars Castle and the train station. It also had surprisingly fast wifi, and a nice breakfast spread! The staff doesn't speak much (if any) English, and people were smoking in the main lobby (and rooms), but all in all I enjoyed my stay.

For 1 or 2 nights The hotel overlooks a quiet running track and is very close to the bustling city center. The furnishings are somewhat dated, but everything is spotlessly clean and the beds are equipped with high-quality mattresses.

The building that impressed me the most in terms of Baltic architecture was the Cheltikov Hotel. I visited all the streets in the center and left the hotel for last because it was far from my route. When the rain started, I wanted to have a tea in the restaurant section. After taking a breather, they said they would serve the tea when paying. The staff were very polite.

The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back for sure.
