Champion Holiday Village in Beldibi

Warning!!! There is theft!!! Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by an unpleasant incident! The staff stole all the cash and two bank cards from the wallet, which was in the closed bag, while we were away! The hotel management was not willing to investigate who was responsible, nor were they willing to provide us with access to the entry records showing who had entered our room. They even did not apologize for the inconvenience. The staff are unprofessional and unhelpful!!!!!

The hotel’s location in the forest near mountains is beautiful, and its facilities — including several pools and bars in different areas — are definitely a plus. I especially liked the silent pool. The room standard was high and comfortable, but the cleaning staff could be more attentive — for instance, they sometimes failed to replace toilet paper when it had already run out.

The bar service, however, was a real disappointment. The bartenders don’t know how to make even simple cocktails, and they run around chaotically looking for someone who can prepare the drink that was ordered. Their English language skills are extremely poor, which makes giving even basic instructions almost impossible — something completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to have five stars. Some of the bartenders are also very rude and even arrogant, acting as if guests were bothering them by ordering a drink. The only person who truly saved the impression was Okan, who works at the beach bar — he genuinely tries to provide professional and friendly service.

The worst, and frankly critical, issue was the food. It was simply tasteless, not fresh, cold, repetitive, and completely lacking any local character. When something ran out, it was not replenished — if there was no cheese left for the toast, that was just your problem; you could make yourself bread with ketchup instead. For the first time in my life, I tried spaghetti bolognese with more onions than tomatoes — the sauce was basically water with onions and some tomato paste, poured over overcooked pasta. The ravioli, which tasted awful one day, reappeared the next day as “macaroni” — clearly the same leftovers, just drowned in a suspicious-looking sauce.

As for the buffet selection — it consisted mostly of variations on tomatoes and cucumbers: tomatoes in quarters, tomatoes with cucumbers, tomatoes with cucumbers and white cabbage, tomatoes with cucumbers and red cabbage, tomatoes with cucumbers and lettuce… and an endless selection of black and green olives in every possible form (whole, sliced, and made into pastes). The toaster looked like it had never been cleaned — as the photos show, the bread actually stuck to the dirty top cover. The toast bread was dry and had clearly been sitting there for several days.

When grilling fish and chicken (both burnt to a crisp and awful in taste), a horrible smell and thick, irritating smoke spread across the beach. The whole dining experience was so bad that we started looking for places to eat outside the hotel — the food served on-site was simply inedible. This is absolutely not what I expect from a five-star hotel, especially considering the high price, which is completely unjustified given the quality.

I strongly recommend avoiding this place — unless you’re fine with eating frozen fries every day, as they’re the only thing you can safely eat without worrying about getting sick.

I wanted to write a good review, but I won't, and here's why: with a vacation starting at $2,500, they ask for an extra charge of $70 upon check-in and between $70 and €150 upon check-out. The administration does not make concessions in the price, despite the presence of a small child. Moreover, the rooms were empty, and new guests weren't checked in until 4 PM. They also disconnected the Wi-Fi five hours before check-out.

I stayed in this hotel in August 2025 and my overall opinion is that I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Reception very slow and they tell you directly “to remind them” about your problem and you need to do so for 5 times and every 10 minutes. Most part of their rooms are old and are not cleaned properly (there was black mold in the shower), if you ask to change room they will try to take extra money. I needed to tell that I have allergy to mold to get renovated standard room not paying extra. There were countless problems during my stay and I needed to go to reception almost everyday with new problem, this made my vacation very stressful and I just wanted it to end sooner. Also they don’t change towels and bedsheets everyday, they only did this when I asked for it, by the way most times I was left ignored. Also the cleaning lady took towels we left on the floor and just put them as if they’re clean, that very gross! Talking about “guest relation office” there’s a blond woman working there and she was really rude every time I needed help, once she even told me “I don’t know what you should do with your problem ask someone else”. Also all the cocktails on the bar have alcohol mixed with water cause that was the only place where I drank 5!!!! cocktails and didn’t feel like I even drank something.

There also was something really nice in this hotel: Hassan from the animation team(I have a feeling that he is the only one from all animation team who’s doing something) really did a great job especially at the Bohem party and also bartenders in the beach bar were really nice and friendly.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I will not come back again. For that amount of money, that was paid for this stay the service was not just unpleasant it’s inappropriate to call this “5 star resort”. I hope my feedback will change something
