I spent three nights at Duran Aga Konagi and felt welcome from the first moment. As a foreign guest, I experienced the warmest hospitality of my entire trip through Turkey. Mr Mustafa deserves special thanks; he was attentive, helpful, and always friendly. The location sits within easy walking distance of the main sights, and the quiet courtyard lets you unwind after a busy day. Months after my visit I still recall the restful sleep and relaxed atmosphere, so I can gladly recommend staying here again.

Above all it is ok. Located in the center. The fridge in the room didnt work. The room are small but clean. There are towels, shampoo, soap, kettle and tea in the room. Bed is comfortable but I found it small and close the the wall. The mosque wakes you up at 5.30 for the prayer. Bathroom and shower is clean. Receptionist looked nice and helpful. Parking is a little problem. I had to park 200 m away close to the Sirvani Cami Mosque. Streets are narrow but look beautiful. There is a nice yard where you can relax and play with the cats (I loved and played with Olu). There are everything nearby, food, exchange office, etc. There is nothing like a desk in the room to sit and work. But there are seats in the yark for doing so. Water pressure and hot water amazing. I loved the cats in the yard. The host is also nice.

Nicely decorated hotel provided us with a comfortable stay. Great location close to the castle. Free tea in the garden area. Staff is nice.

The hotel was a great place for us New Zealanders cycle touring across Turkey to relax, catch up on some sleep and see Gaziantep for a couple of days.
The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and recommended an awesome local place to eat.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was terrific. A walk around the corner, and you see the castle. Fresh produce and tea house nearby. The staff was exceptional. The price was very reasonable when I rented it, but it is likely more during busy seasons. Still, I highly recommend it. The old architecture makes you feel like you are staying in an ancient castle.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all !!! Worst place I ever stayed! So dirty, bed , toilet, they didn't even take out the trash. And for this I paid 450 lira 😔

The location was great in the heart of the city / for solo traveling is great no breakfast was provided but you can eat out / cosy and warm that what you need in Gaziantep.

The hotel is in the center, but the streets where it is located are very narrow, even a taxi could not bring it to the front. Besides, there are too many refugees around, I felt uncomfortable walking on the street. Coming to the rooms, the only empty room was the tea floor. There is no closet. Your clothes stay in the suitcase, there were only two hangers. The only good thing for me was that the toilet was clean. The bed was not comfortable at all. I woke up with back pain every morning. Even when turning from right to left, the bed was creaking, so I woke up constantly. The privacy between the rooms is not good, you can clearly hear what the person watching the TV in the opposite room is watching.
As a result, I would not recommend you to stay, I would suggest you to pay one hundred and two hundred TL more and stay in a nicer place.

I wish I had a chance to give less than one star so I could give that star as a rating. The 1 star you gave to Duran Ağa mansion is nothing but an award for this place. It's not even worth a star. We chose this so-called boutique hotel for our four-day Gaziantep trip, relying on the reviews here. We wouldn't have; First of all, he didn't even want to take a taxi to the side street where the hotel is located, we came to the hotel among the narrow streets and the uncanny types, a dash of dust all over everything in the rooms, an awful smell in the bathroom, beds that are hard enough to cause you to have a herniated disc, and uncountable disgrace. The only good thing about the hotel is the photographer who takes the photos that it uploads to the internet. The photos have nothing to do with the real thing. They take the fee of the hotel in advance at the entrance and do not refund the fee when you want to leave. I mean, the trades are also there. In short, our Antep trip was a disgrace, if you don't want it to happen, stay away from here.

We came to Gaziantep on holiday from Sakarya and preferred the Aga Mansion to stay. The first night we went, the water was cut off and we couldn't use it, then it started to flow very little, we tried to handle our business like this. toilet paper, towels weren't enough, we expected it to be changed daily, but it didn't happen. If I have to rate cleanliness, I would give it 6 out of 10. Apart from that, the air conditioner is very good, there is a garden where you can drink tea in the evening. There is wi-fi, but even when I was connected, the internet did not draw, it was too slow. I went with my family, we did not have any external problems, we were comfortable. There is a cat in the garden, if you are thinking of going, do not return without loving :)

it was very bad experince we visited the place to take lunch
after 15 min they put the menu and went away , we told them we want to take lunch in the un coverd area they told us the area is not ready it was 5: 15 pm !!!!! when i asked what time it ll be ready they said maybe one or two hours !!!!!!!
i think it was the worst service i have seen

Wonderfull place to dine. Tales of the past all over you. Quiet with Turkish cousine variety.
Try the grill meat plate collection...and some mazzah.
Simply perfect for friends, don't bring kids around, as there is only a small play ground for them. You will end up feeling upset about how bad they feel, eventually forget the above...
