It is at convenient location at the very center of the city. The hotel keeps low profile which can be a problem if you come to look for this place at dark evening. The rooms and facilities are old, probably from Soviet times, but they are kept reasonably well. The lux may fool you to imagine it as a luxury hotel - No.

The best part ms are location and value. If one night stay is below $40, like $35-30, the hotel will offer you great value. Please note it is far from modern chain hotels in USA or in Western Europe.
That may be the reason for huge variances of evaluation of this small hotel.

One advice: the hotel looks not too far on foot from the train station. I made a huge mistake to walk up with my luggage because the station is located at the lower valley and the hotel and the center are up on higher hills.

An excellent hotel for the money, almost in the city center. The administrator is very attentive, she selected the room according to certain requirements. Very convenient closed parking for cars and motorcycles. Ask for a quiet room, some of the reviews complain about this. I immediately warned that we had not slept for two days and we needed the quietest room. We were given a wonderful room with a door directly to the courtyard. We slept great.

Very nice little hotel in a not so busy side street in central Chernivtsi. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luggage storage for a few hours was not a problem.

Good location for those travelling by car (Parking is free) and without (from the railway station we walked). Unprepossessing one-storey building in a quiet courtyard of old building, 5-6 rooms only. The hotel do not smoke in front of the entrance of the scenic Smoking area with a bench on the terrace. Was in room 2, spacious corner with 4 wooden Windows and shutters. Big soft double bed, TV 40", fireplace, two armchairs, sofa, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables with bedside lamps. Cabinet-bar with small fridge, electric kettle, pair of cups and saucers, the cups small and large. Hardwood floors, top carpet. In the bathroom - bathroom with shower, the rest is as usual and without a dryer, all tile. Very clean. Cleaned and towels changed every day. Battery was hot, it was warm. Previously, the hotel had a sauna, now no, maybe it's for the best. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive. The room was clean, but on the corner there is a shop, and the closest caterers in General, 3-4 minutes from city Hall and pedestrian kobylyanskoy 6-7 min leisurely walk. The street itself where the hotel in the evening lit, not afraid to go.
Of the minuses that the overall impression is not spoiled:
- before entering the hotel komunalschiki made the Parking lot garbage cans,
- the first couple of hours felt the smell of tobacco, probably in room someone has smoked,
- the floors are a little creaky, but it adds charm to the room :-)
- in the bathroom there was no curtain and the drain of obscenities flowed,
- there tea-spoons, although cups and saucers and a kettle were :-),
- soundproofing not very good, but it's almost all the hotels such
- wifi is weak, but we have our own 3G,therefore not floating.
Prior to settlement and after check-out option are free to leave things in the pantry. Definitely recommend.

A seven star hidden gem!! Cant describe how amused I was when I first saw this hostel in real lofe. From its Cafe to the rooms, the showers and facilities and the tiny miny little details..

The scrumptious snacks and sweets made by the wife of the owner of the hostel made it some homey and special.

Special thank to Matthew and Julia for going above and beyond and taking ownership while dealing with customers.

I loved the place, I wish I could have stayed longer, all the support.

But a little advice

There should be a cover over the bed so that you are hidden from others.

The level of accommodations is outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Rooms, beds, toilets, showers, kitchen, and reception are clean as can be, and everything looks recently remodeled and modern. Even the guests are quiet and respectful. The location is a short bus ride from the bus station, off the main road with many buses, and in the heart of the city's tourist attractions. Because the property is tucked away in a courtyard, there's no noise from outside. Wifi is fast and covers the whole property, even outside. The kitchen tap has a separate faucet for filtered drinking water.

My Green room was amazing, a bit sad cause it wasn’t sunny days and I didn’t have choice to stay with my coffee on a balcony. I had towels, slippers for using and that was really great. There are many locations with lights in the room, working heating panel, TV (I haven’t used) and completely comfortable bed. Toilet and shower room was all the time clean, I didn’t have any difficulties. Actually I was lucky enough maybe cause in my staying I almost didn’t see anybody. And that’s so perfect when instead of cooking something for breakfast you just come downstairs and grab coffee or tea (really big choice) with some fresh made pastry. The staff people are friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for warm staying! Will be glad to come back.

The Green room was very comfortable, kitchen is supplied with all necessities but I would add paper towels cuz it’s not hygienic to use 1 towel in the kitchen for all guests. Toilet on the second floor could have been cleaner (especially the smell), but the first floor shower was amazing!
