Stayed here with my husband. What can I say, I have never seen such a sracha. It was disgusting to be in the room. It seems that only bed sheets are changed here. The bath is just awful, the shower stall is stained, the faucet can be seen that no one has wiped it for a long time and the sink too, I generally keep quiet about the toilet. The windows are shattered, the curtains are crumpled. Slishnost is terrible, you can hear the neighbors breathing. The second time we will not go here that's for sure! The tour included swimming in the pool and a sauna at the Zion Hotel, there is also complete unsanitary conditions, everything is dirty, splattered. Wi-fi in the room did not work, 3g on life does not work.
On the positive side: nice staff in the restaurant, delicious food, warm room, warm water is always available.
And, of course, beautiful nature.

The hotel is located in the village of Polyana, very close to other hotels, many of them did not function.
Settlement :
we arrived at about 10:00, but at the reception we were accommodated without any problems before 14:00. Since we had previously traveled through the Zion Tour Glory hotels program, we booked the Carpathian Health Resort in advance without any fear. We read the reviews on Google, but did not find the information that we encountered further. We were 4 adults, ie a reservation for 2 double rooms. It was assumed that since the check-in was 31.12 there were simply no other rooms left. Rooms 203 and 204 (which we were given) are located on the 2nd floor of one of the hotel buildings, which are located directly above the hotel kitchen on the ground floor. It's just a DISASTER.
On the day of arrival, we smelled the "kitchen" in room 203, the smell of food throughout the room, and even in the bathroom. We were immediately told that the number of rooms 203 and 204 is approximately the same, but the "highlight" of room 203 is that sometimes it will smell like food and left an air freshener ...
On the first day, the food really smelled and it was tolerable, + in the evening we were at 204 and met NG there.
The next day, we were practically not at the hotel, we went to explore the territory of the village, walked near the lake (you won’t walk anywhere else, you won’t sit on the hotel grounds), but in the evening the smell intensified, it was already caustic, it was strange, because logic, we just had to get used to it and no longer pay attention, and tired just went to bed.
On the third day from lunch, the smell became unbearable, and our guys already showed up in room 204 in the same way. Toward evening, we turned to the kitchen to ask what time the kitchen would work until, the staff replied that all complaints were only to the reception, so we and did. At the reception, having told the whole situation, we were offered a room in the opposite building of the hotel on the 2nd floor, room 107. It has: 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 cot 😂 Without hesitation, we took our guys from room 204 to us, having decided, that it is better to huddle without “STINK” 4m in one room than to die and cough from a sore throat, but in different rooms. The administrator was very surprised that we all moved to room 1, but do they really not know that there is just a smell that does not disappear? It passes between all the cracks in the wood and the hood does not work or does not work well! Through the small window from the kitchen, the air carries the smell of burning just into rooms 203 and 204! This smell eats into all clothes, towels, hair, bedding ... in the shower, when you wash yourself, you don’t even hear the smell of shampoos, you think that you wash yourself with grease ..
On that day, they themselves admitted that something burned in their kitchen, so it stinks. But it seems to me that since there were free rooms after NG, the administration itself could clarify how they live? Is everything in order .. but thanks for that, for giving another room at the end of the holiday.
Room 203 is categorically not to be offered to people, as it spoils the whole holiday, it is not very pleasant to enter the room for relaxation and feel like fried potatoes. You come to breathe the air, and pancakes smell throughout the hotel. This room needs to be closed for a regular room, or the kitchen on the 1st floor should be completely redone, a high-quality exhaust hood and ventilation should be installed.
Later we found out that there were other rooms available..
The rooms themselves are very budget-friendly, although the showers are modern, there are problems with fittings and faucets.

Breakfast was included in the stay and it was very satisfying. The prices for the regular menu are affordable and inexpensive. BUT, because of the rain, they didn’t want to light the grill, we couldn’t try the barbecue, we went to another cafe.

The staff is responsive and sociable, it is not pleasant for them to work in such conditions, but there is nowhere to go.
There are better hotels nearby…
