DO NOT BUY STUFF FROM VENDORS THERE. THEY ARE CHEATS. We bought nice smelling teas but they use essence. They don't taste like what they serve you there at all.

Better to be there at middle of the week! Sunday was fully of visitors!
It's a long walk to the top, but well worth it. The ice-cold mojitos by the lake are a hidden treasure
Everyone should visit Synevir lake once in Carpathian Mountains. It is a great and calm place to have some rest from everyday routine. On the way to the lake there is a nice stream and also a natural source of drinking water. If you stay at the hotel right at the bottom of the lake you can take bikes and have a wonderful ride to the waterfall and National Reservation with bears, kept from poachers.
The lake is small. You pay 30 to take a boat ride to a very small island in the lake. The islans is about 3m x 3m. We enjoyed the boat trip and the breeze. The boat is mamually rowed. There's a restaurant at the entrance of the lake. The restaurant serves very nice fish. The restaurant itself is a plus to us.
