Sadyba U Vasylya in Volovec

On 09/27/2025, at approximately 8 p.m., my dog ​​was attacked by a guard dog from the estate “U Vasylya” in the village of Volovets, at the address 116 Shevchenko Street.
We had previously agreed with the owners that two dogs would be staying with us on vacation, with a description of the breeds, size of the dogs, and gender. The owners of the estate assured us that it was safe. After settling in in the morning, we went as a group to the Borzhava meadow and warned the owners about the exact time of our return, since the transfer was ordered in advance, this time was constant. The owners knew exactly when we would arrive. However, when we returned, the guard dog was not tied up, and as we later learned, in the words of Mr. Vasyl, “he was protecting the territory” (question: from whom? From tourists who were supposed to return and paid for accommodation in this estate?). As a result, the dog brutally attacked my Mila, did not react to people, and the dog's owner did nothing at that moment either. When the dog was managed to drive away from Mila, I saw that her lower jaw was damaged and there was also massive bleeding. Mr. Vasyl commented that it was "just a scratch, everything is normal." We urgently gathered in Lviv, went to the Eurovet veterinary clinic, where we were provided with first aid. The next day, we managed to get an X-ray and a surgical intervention was planned. My dog ​​underwent a bilateral mandibectomy, since a bone fragment (1/3 of the mandible) was missing from the bite side. We have a long rehabilitation ahead of us.
I generally keep quiet about my condition.
As for Mr. Vasyl, he categorically does not admit his guilt, he keeps a dog in the yard, which he uses as a weapon (for protection, well), does not care about his visitors and does not know how to communicate adequately (I also attach a video of the conversation). I believe that such people deserve punishment. It is not known how many other animals or people could have suffered from this person's negligence

Unsafe place to stay. At the time of check-in, the guard dog was not tied up and attacked the guest's dog (Chihuahua), biting off its lower jaw. The owner said it was a "scratch" and refused to take responsibility. It's scary to think that in the place of the Chihuahua there could have been a person or a small child.

The owners behave HORRIBLY, both with people and with animals. They present themselves as a hotel where you can be with animals, but in reality everything is not like that. We were with a dog, then their dog, which was supposed to be on a leash (because the dog was trained that way), attacked a friend's dog, which is why the dog had to be urgently taken to the hospital due to a severe injury. And when they started talking about this situation, the owner started screaming, yelling and saying that he had nothing to do with it and that animals are nothing in general. The owner did the same.
After that, they shouted at each other all night.
I do not advise dealing with such people at all, it is better to look for something else.

I do NOT recommend visiting. ruined the whole experience
Due to the sewerage flooded with ice, which was not properly insulated - the drain clogged, we were accused of flooding the ceiling on the first floor because of us. Half the night helped the hostess to take out the water that was pumped out. In the morning there was no water, you can neither go to the toilet nor wash your face.
When asked about the price correction due to such circumstances, they turned on us and accused us of being guilty.
