Beautiful hotel and lovely staff but the room cleanliness was not up to standard also having to pay £7 each extra to use pool etc was a surprise
An absolutely lovely stay I can’t honestly thank the hotel enough for the help they gave me during the stay.
Nice clean hotel ,excellent breakfast ,friendly staff but terrible bed very hard ,room to hot opened windows but noise from air con ducts on roof below kept us awake tv was always turning off itself room 332 third floor
nice little room not to far from city centre we went for christmas markets such a beautiful loction
Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were spotless, pillows were not the best. Had to pay extra for swimming pool but worth it as pool warm and facilities spotless. Will return
Fantastic clean spacious bedroom, lovely comfy bed we had. Great for last minute get away, just booked for a night to get away for after Xmas.
Will defo use the spa next time.

Hotel was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good the staff were efficient and friendly too.
Bed was comfy bathroom gorgeous
What a perfect location for a flight from Newcastle.. The room was massive , beautiful bedding, fridge , kettle , coffee etc and a delicious complimentary cookie when we checked in. We ate in the Italian restaurant where the waiter and waitresses were so smiley and helpful. Wonderful service . We’ll be back for certain
Great location with walking to metro and airport. Good room with useful fridge. Also Iron and heated towel rail. Gym is also useful.
Bathroom a bit cramped and shower door lets water across bathroom floor
I have stayed here a few times. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and perfect for the airport.
Room was very tired. This use to be a lovely hotel but now, from our recent experience, it’s very much fur coat and no knickers. Lovely reception bar and dinning areas but our room was definitely not what Hilton use to stand for. Our room was very very tired. The wood work was all chipped and looking shabby, the pleather head board had numerous bare/worn areas and there was mould in the bathroom. Not...

Newcastle upon Tyne, Riverview, Bridge Court (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything was perfectly fine — the breakfast was very tasty and well prepared, and an additional highlight was the beautiful view of the river, which made the morning truly special and enjoyable.
This was a great hotel and I LOVED the views from our corner "Townhouse" (essentially a large 1 bedroom apartment). I wish it had a microwave. Also those who walk around should note that riverside location means uphill walk to main town. Walking along the river was wonderful though.
amazing place !! very lovely place for couple haha and i love the scenary
The room was nice, the view was great, and the breakfast was good too. The only downside was the lack of privacy in the bathroom, which was a bit awkward; a curtain would be a good idea. The location is a little inconvenient if you're walking the whole way without taking a taxi, but overall it was good!
Well what started as a bad experience was quickly sorted by the excellent staff.
We won a nights stay at the INNSiDE Newcastle and on our way driving up we got a call from the PR agency saying there was a mis-communication and we actually had no room to stay in.
As part of the prize was to see the Royal Northern Sinfonia we needed somewhere to change, the PR agency said there was no where to change...
The river view is beautiful, especially the scenery near the bridge in early autumn. The natural light is excellent, and the room is very comfortable; I didn't want to leave. There's a small refrigerator, and the other amenities are good. The bedding is comfortable, and the room is quiet. Housekeeping is done daily; if not, a note will be left.
The breakfast selection is somewhat limited. Booking...

very noisy with construction and too hot in the room but overall was fine
It was a one night stay for work and was clean, had a comfy bed fresh towels and did the job you'd expect it to do. Not the most luxurious hotel but provides good value for money!

Ideal stay in Newcastle, everything we needed. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again :-)
Excellent hotel fantastic helpful reception 👍
The room this time I stay is quite bigger than my last stay, it was good. Down point would be the dirty kettle, really really dirty, hopefully it will get the deep clean. The hotel staff is alright, nothing stand out. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Very slow check in
Only one person at reception dealing with with check-ins, phone calls, staff etc.
at the bar late in the evening when we returned for a drink after our meal no waiting staff ! We had to q and carry our drinks to the table.
It takes around 15 min to walk to the central station. Really excellent view beside the river. Very good soundproof and quiet. Good hot water. But there is no ventaliation in the bathroom.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially Sam on reception. Went out of his way to help resolve an issue not related to hotel.
Had dinner at hotel which was very nice and good value.
The only downfall was the cooked breakfast was lukewarm, with bacon cold.
Great staff and clean room. Location was great, uphill to the main part of Newcastle. Close to trains and buses.
Arrived very early and asked if we could store our bag. The receptionist, who was friendly and efficient, allocated us a room right away. Great views over the river and the food from the restaurant was lovely. Within a short walk of the are arena, train station and shops. Will most certainly book again.
Hotel room nice, good view of the river.. staff really helpful.
Very disappointed with the breakfast..
Hard black pudding
Hard hash browns
Just warm sausage
Luke warm beans
Didn’t try anything else
Toast nice and tea nice.
But would book with out breakfast if I stopped again.

Heating not working the room is cold. When you take shower the water coming slow, drainage for water not going through. TV is old no apps you can't pair your devices. They need renovation on their room. The place is good but the hotel is too old

The location is perfect, the staff are great and the service is as spectacular.
We had a fantastic experience at this location.
Very firendly & professional staff throughout. Informative & provided detailed advice on the local area.
Room was very clean, practical & has all that you would require for a city stopover.
Hotel is located just across the road from the train station & at the foot of town. Near many many restaurants, bars, activities etc.
Woukd highly recommend for those looking for an ideal location for singles...
Perfect location, checked in early with no problems. Close to the centre of Newcastle. Lovely breakfast. All brilliant for such a good price
Customer service was wonderful as per usual. Room was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient to everything and the breakfast buffet was top tier. This will always be my go to hotel.
It's a very well-located hotel.
It's right across from the train station
The cleaning service is excellent.
But I must complain about the fact that there are no bottled water, no slippers, no shower caps in the room for guests.
An amazing stay at Hampton by Hilton Newcastle! The location is unbeatable—just 2-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, and only 10 minutes to Quayside and St. James’ Park, super convenient for travel and sightseeing.
The free hot breakfast was fantastic, with fresh waffles, classic English breakfast and even porridge, perfect for all tastes. The room was clean, quiet and cozy, with a comfy bed...

It was relaxing and a chill night. Watched Amazon Prime and order in before heading back
Great stay. Staff were super attentive!
Quiet location next to the river, the hotel seems old but everything was clean and fully functional, the rooms are huge. But when I asked for toothbrush , the staff told us we can get it from the vending machine in the hotel, but the vending machine was broken and seems like the staff didn’t know which was a bit disappointing.
Great location on Quayside. Decor looks little tired and overall atmosphere could be better.
Excellent hotel and would definitely stay again

We booked this hotel for its location near to both the railway station and Utilita Arena and it was perfect. Staff friendly, breakfast included. One point to note re parking which isn’t free (you only get 15 mins free to check in) - parking is in the Grainger Town car park and cost us about £30 for less than 2 days. Double beds are quite small but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location. Service was great and lovely staff too.
We're staying 2 nights here before easter break. Location is absolutely great, just few minutes from central station, across it is life science centre. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean. I would recommend to my friends.
Very fairly priced, breakfast included. Staff were attentive and helpful. Would recommend.
Excellent over night stay at the Holiday Inn Express.
Rooms clean, shower powerful and staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast tasty. If staying in Newcastle again I would definitely stay there.
The hotel's location is excellent and convenient, with nice views. The front desk staff were patient and welcoming. The room was quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in town.

Lovely hotel very clean staff were very helpful lovely breakfast wouldn’t hesitate staying here again thank you for a lovely stay.
We booked the superior room which was lovely and very good value for money. The only thing that let it down was that the bath was filthy.
We didn’t have breakfast or use any of the facilities but we did order room service. The food was very nice and arrived hot and well presented.
The lady on reception on arrival and checkout wasn’t the friendliest which was quite disappointing.
Overall a pleasurable...
Good stop off while up on business , close to motorways.
Found hotel both great value and all amenities fantastic. Food & staff brilliant will definitely stay again thank you.

Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clear and the food was good. My only critisicm would be the Gym and Spa facilities. The poolside was dirty as people had used their outdoor footwear to walk into the pool. The gym equipment was very dated but functional.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, not much around it but Carter and Fitch restaurant on site. Lots of parking.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and had a lovely time. Staff are very nice and friendly and room was great. 10/10
We have used this particular hotel a few times now the staff are always friendy and welcoming the rooms are always clean and tidy the beds are so so comfy it is true what the advert says you do get a good nights sleep the breakfast room does get a little busy but the staff cope well and there is always a warm welcome and we always find something to eat we will deffo be returning to holystone
Kind staff, decent breakfast, tired bathrooms. rooms feel dated. Has a motel vibe, close to the highway, yet quiet in my room (facing the yard). Bathroom is worn, water damaged panels, some parts looks like they are in need of a urgent refurb. Ventilation in the bathroom stops after minutes of turning off the lights, so humidity is high and towels take a long time to dry No heating in the bathroom...
It was a lovely hotel very clean warming and room was amazing staff very friendly and welcoming aswell nothing was a problem for them
Breakfast now served onsite. £10.99 a head. Cooked options good. However pastries ran out when it was busy and when asked staff to replace, we had to wait 18 minutes cooking time. We feel staffing levels were to blame as one chef in kitchen and one young man trying to Replace items/ take names on those arriving/ and clearing tables. Once he had help things improved slightly. We feel breakfast was over...
This is a lovely Premier Inn. So close to the A19 but quiet. The staff were friendly. There is a Wetherspoons next door which is convenient - especially for an evening meal. Location was excellent, next to the train station.
The cosy room would definitely not be my choice again. Ok if travelling on your own, but as a couple not ideal.
Breakfast was the best I have ever experienced.
Staff all friendly.
Will definitely want to stay in this hotel if I ever went to Newcastle again.
Staff very friendly and the location was great, but noisy in and out of the hotel, and the shower was cold. But a beautiful building.
Old hotel with very good location. However facilities may need upgrade. Gym etc need extra £5/day.
Perfect location for exploring the city. Right next to the train station. The hotel looked after our cases so we could enjoy more time exploring. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located next to Newcastle Central station minutes from the Cathedral, the Castle, the centre of the city near Monument. The hotel entrance has a faded grandeur that isn't intimidating, more comfortably worn. The room was cosy with bathtub and shower. The WiFi was a little temperamental but works fine. A plus for me was the pool and spa facilities at the hotel. Nothing better than a swim...
Great location, next to train station. Fab pool to use. Room was rather chilly. But a heater was sent up to keep us warm.

You know what you're going to get with a Premier Inn, they're super reliable and we've never had a bad experience. We were very pleased with our two-day stay at the hotel. The Premier Inn Plus rooms are very well equipped – a coffee maker, refrigerator, and hot chocolate are just a few of the many surprises for a budget hotel. But above all, it's worth noting the very high level of cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms. The service was excellent – the receptionist was smiling and knowledgeable. Thank you, we...
It was such a lovely stay here. The beds were really comfy and the rooms felt cozy and welcoming. Stayed at this hotel more times than I can remember. Home from home. Excellent food, friendly staff.
Everything was excellent apart from when we returned the bar was closed at 10.30 and couldn’t get a drink
The team here are extremely helpful and work hard for each other.
The food is of a high standard.
Will use this place whenever I’m in the area.
The staff were excellent, very attentive, breakfast was 1st class. Our room was fine but being so close to the bar/ resteraunt it was a bit noisy and often filled with a strong smell of cooking!
A great, friendly welcome at reception when I arrived.
Ground floor rooms only, so no stairs to worry about. The room was clean and very quiet with comfortable beds and a lovely shower room, plus a TV.
The food was plentiful and cooked very well. It was nice and hot when it arrived, and in no way expensive.

An unusual concept for hotel but a good one. Lovely to park right outside own room. Very comfortable, hot water and an amazing breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever had in a hotel.
Great room, very clean. Courteous staff, from reception to the bar and restaurant. Being able to park right outside the room was fantastic. Would stay again. Recommended.
Clean, comfortable, warm room, a bit of updating would make it fautless.
Restaurant modern and tastefully decorated, food was delicious and generous sized portions, the apple and plum crumble was a delight. Special mention to Claire our waitress who took excellent care of us.
A good 3 nights stay despite the cold weather. The Premier room was just as expected from the pictures, comfortable, clean and warm, once the radiator was turned on, and quiet. Only downside was the noisy cold water tap and toilet refill. The breakfast was really nice, with plenty of choice, and the evening meals also good, helped by the friendly and helpful staff. Glad we didn't stay in the centre...

Fairly standard twin room. Décor and facilities a bit dated perhaps but clean and quite acceptable for one night stay or weekend away. Continental breakfast little more than bread and cereal. Busy local bar on ground floor. 10 minutes from nearest Metro or perhaps 25-30 from the city centre.
The room is large, with an independent bathroom, and two small single beds. The beds are very soft. There is a bar downstairs, which may be noisy at night. There is free parking at the hotel, and a 50 pound deposit is required.
I've stayed at White's Hotel before. It's in a nice area and my room was clean and comfortable.
I would stay here again.
Depends what you want. We just needed somewhere to stay over after a concert.
The downstairs is a massive loud bar, very popular with young folk. But upstairs, in the hotel rooms, you hear the noise less, and bar closes at 11pm.

I was very pleased with this hotel. Easy to find & a short walk from West Jesmond metro in a fantastic part of Newcastle. Had everything I needed and more than I expected. The fan on an unusually hot day was perfect along with iron and ironing board. Pleasant room, clean and tidy and I liked how I didn't need to worry about carrying keys or gaining access out of hours as it's entirely key pad access...
Along a road with many hotels, the Jesmond is far enough away from the noisy ones to get a good night’s sleep…. Pretty basic - no breakfast - and the rooms not large, but had everything I needed, was clean, and good value for money… would stay again..
I was really nervous about staying here based on the reviews - in which I didn't notice until after I booked - I will be honest I had a couple of sleepless nights being unable to cancel and rebook. We stayed in a room for three, the small triple room. Before arrival, I received an email with the codes to the front and back door and our room code. It is a self service hotel with no staff. It was really...
Spend there 1 night with my family in November 2019 - was really nice.
Rooms very clean and comfy.
Breakfast really nice.
The area was also nice and interesting.
Jesmond metro station is around 10min away by foot so it’s ideal.
The only downside is a small car park at the rear of the hotel. Really small if you have a large car especially a SUV 4x4 but we managed ;-) thanks
Stayed here 1 night in a double room. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, had a TV, tea and coffee and a bathroom with shower. Location was great, short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants in Jesmond. We had breakfast in the morning, there was a good selection of cereals and hot food (but no meat). Check out was very quick and easy. Only downsides I would say the bed wasn't very comfortable...
Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are small but clean. Bathroom is a wet room which is not to my taste. Staff are very friendly and do all they can to make you welcome. good selection at breakfast.
