Hotels with pool in Newcastle upon Tyne

A great hotel once again for the price can not moan about it. But only thing is now you have to pay to use the the pool area for which was free last time i stopped here. Breakfast was again amazing.

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff but the room cleanliness was not up to standard also having to pay £7 each extra to use pool etc was a surprise

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were spotless, pillows were not the best. Had to pay extra for swimming pool but worth it as pool warm and facilities spotless. Will return

Nice clean hotel ,excellent breakfast ,friendly staff but terrible bed very hard ,room to hot opened windows but noise from air con ducts on roof below kept us awake tv was always turning off itself room 332 third floor

Fantastic clean spacious bedroom, lovely comfy bed we had. Great for last minute get away, just booked for a night to get away for after Xmas. Will defo use the spa next time.

The room this time I stay is quite bigger than my last stay, it was good. Down point would be the dirty kettle, really really dirty, hopefully it will get the deep clean. The hotel staff is alright, nothing stand out

Nice hotel can do with some updating. Bathroom good shower but water runs everywhere. House keeping should eh try dusting the place. I was there three days in business staff brilliant

It was a one night stay for work and was clean, had a comfy bed fresh towels and did the job you'd expect it to do. Not the most luxurious hotel but provides good value for money!

Excellent amenities including robe and slippers. Room was spacious with good heating. Nice games are in reception

Stayed at hotel in July for 1 night. Room and Breakfast were good. Good size swimming pool. Large carpark next to hotel. Hotel is nearby Newcastle airport and city center.

A lovely trip to Holiday Inn, Gosforth Park. The beds, were comfy, the staff were lovely, very relaxing and the room view was beautiful! They also had very good access to fitness facilities! I will come back again!

Very clean, and we have a great stay

First time.with my son 10. Friendly staff, nice pool and spa, good location. Basic but OK breakfast. It could do a bit better. Overall, we enjoyed it and good value for money

Best bed ever! Very comfortable linens, mattress and pillows! Towels were a bit old but very clean! The swimming pool is just good… kind of cold but a little warm, but not enough! So it is not comfortable being on the jacuzzi at all… and every 5/7 minutes, have to get out of the water to restart the engine… Saunas and spa were really good! Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties that we don...

Fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and all the hot british breakfast dishes. Near a lot of restaurants and shopping locations Would be back again to this same place

Absolutely amazing time, stayed over while driving to Scotland, best night sleep in a while will be returning on my drives up and down

It was fantastic experience, and with metro shopping centre 2 minutes walk away can't get any better

Room are a good size, very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The complimentary cookie is a nice touch. Very clean and good decor and within a 1min walk of the airport. Couldn't fault very much about my stay.

Hotel was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good the staff were efficient and friendly too. Bed was comfy bathroom gorgeous

Great location with walking to metro and airport. Good room with useful fridge. Also Iron and heated towel rail. Gym is also useful.  Bathroom a bit cramped and shower door lets water across bathroom floor

We have stayed here before and it is a perfect place to stay before you hop on your plane at Newcastle Airport. It's a bit of a wreck to the airport - takes less than 5 mins!!! It's brilliant

What a perfect location for a flight from Newcastle. The room was massive , beautiful bedding, fridge , kettle , coffee etc and a delicious complimentary cookie when we checked in

The metro stops at the airport and it's about 6 mins to the Doubletree from there. There's also long term parking if you are going away and limited parking if you are staying at the hotel

Wonderful view of the river and bridge. Staff really friendly on check in and at every encounter. At breakfast they went out of their way to say good morning which was lovely. Gym was small but perfectly formed

It was relaxing and a chill night. Watched Amazon Prime and order in before heading back

The hotel is in the city of Newcastle, the location is very good, the hotel staff is very enthusiastic, helping with luggage, very gentlemanly, very satisfied during the stay, the room is large, clean and tidy

Newcastle, England is really a friendly city. I feel that this hotel is very cost-effective. The room is large and the service is warm. I am very satisfied with the stay for more than ten days

Hot food for breakfast is a la carte, other buffets are available It’s not the most expensive hotel I stayed in during this trip, but it’s the most satisfying

The view is good and the room is good. It's comfortable to walk around. It's not far from the train station

The food is fab and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff accommodated all of our requests including giving us our chosen rooms and adding extra people to our party with no issues. We will definitely be going back

The poolside was dirty as people had used their outdoor footwear to walk into the pool. The gym equipment was very dated but functional

Good stop off while up on business , close to motorways. Found hotel both great value and all amenities fantastic. Food & staff brilliant will definitely stay again thank you. Cameron W

The lady on reception on arrival and checkout wasn’t the friendliest which was quite disappointing. Overall a pleasurable stay but could have been perfect if not for the dirty bath and unfriendly receptionist

Clean, comfortable, warm room, a bit of updating would make it fautless. Restaurant modern and tastefully decorated, food was delicious and generous sized portions, the apple and plum crumble was a delight

Fantastic service by staff, very polite and helpful. Food was fabulous we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and excellent breakfast choices. Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable and spacious

Only downside was the noisy cold water tap and toilet refill. The breakfast was really nice, with plenty of choice, and the evening meals also good, helped by the friendly and helpful staff

An unusual concept for hotel but a good one. Lovely to park right outside own room. Very comfortable, hot water and an amazing breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever had in a hotel.

Pleasant room, clean and tidy and I liked how I didn't need to worry about carrying keys or gaining access out of hours as it's entirely key pad access to the hotel and rooms

I was very pleased with this hotel. Easy to find & a short walk from West Jesmond metro in a fantastic part of Newcastle. Had everything I needed and more than I expected

The only downside is a small car park at the rear of the hotel. Really small if you have a large car especially a SUV 4x4 but we managed ;-) thanks

The fan on an unusually hot day was perfect along with iron and ironing board

Spend there 1 night with my family in November 2019 - was really nice. The area was also nice and interesting. Jesmond metro station is around 10min away by foot so it’s ideal

The WiFi was good and the facilities in the room were great too with free tea and coffee. The bed could be improved but it was okay for a night. The room has in suite bathroom

Very clean and comfortable room. On top of the pub, (Cog and Wheel pub) you come in via the pub. Very friendly staff

The room was in the top floor and felt quiet. It’s very convenient to have the bar and restaurant just downstairs. I didn’t try the food but it was looking nice

Stayed here on a Saturday evening. As I just needed somewhere to stay over night. All the other well known hotels locally were coming back twice as much in price. So I thought what the hell book this it's loads cheaper

Gentleman even offered to carry case. My room was perfect (very warm on a cold December day). Very Clean, Bed made, very clean linen, Bathroom small but had everything needed (including free toiletries) and very clean

However, when we went through another door to the small reception area it was dark (due to all the Wood Cladding) but very nice, clean and presentable. Upon confirming my booking, I was shown to my room

I booked this hotel for it's closeness to the Metro Shopping Centre and ease of travel from the centre of Newcastle. Both were perfect and as advertised. I did not arrive at the hotel until 7pm

The front door was locked and it took a few attempts, at ringing the bell (which I could not hear if it was working or not) before someone finally come to the door

Everything was great, only small issue beyond hotel control was lift not working...... have issues with mobility so accessi g second floor room was awkward

Cost £9 for 2 coke zeros on draught which tasted flat ! when I queried with the man at the bar, was told I should have stated that I wanted the £1 deal & not the more expensive price? Yet ordered the wraps & soft drinks together

Ordered 2 chicken wraps & the menu states for £1 only you can add a soft drink - ordered the wraps & asked I could have 2 coke zeros with them, but for some reason was not charged that deal price it stated on the menu

Always love that about The Village hotel at Cobalt, however we have been left feeling a bit deflated after going for some lunch in the pub bar on the last day of our stay at the Hotel today

Was told that if you don't say to do that, they don't automatically grant it. No staff around apart from him as well and qué was backed up

The room was cosy with bathtub and shower. The WiFi was a little temperamental but works fine. A plus for me was the pool and spa facilities at the hotel. Nothing better than a swim to start the day

The fitness suite was fantastic! The pool was warm and a reasonable size and a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are also available for those who wish to use this kind of facility

Great location, next to train station. Fab pool to use. Room was rather chilly. But a heater was sent up to keep us warm.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool wasn’t working last night, and the hot tub wasn’t quite warm enough, but aside from that, everything else was excellent

Have stayed here a couple of times in the past and always enjoyed my stay. Right next to the Central Station and Metro so ideal if you are a train user. When we arrived we were upgraded on our room which was a nice bonus

Location was excellent, next to the train station. The cosy room would definitely not be my choice again. Ok if travelling on your own, but as a couple not ideal. Breakfast was the best I have ever experienced
