I stayed at the Hansen Hotel twice, the staff is super nice, the rooms small but super equipped even with a small fridge. In the 1 night we could not sleep because 3 idiots which in the hotel were at our door beat and rumble, like small children. You could maybe replace the shower, it has mild mold on the ceiling but otherwise I was very satisfied and will visit the Hansen Hotel again soon. best wishes from switzerland.

Sirius workers in need of a good night's sleep stop here every time we work away. Good friendly staff lovely owner. guaranteed a good night's sleep and a pleasant experience . Breakfast in a morning is a must, lovely spread I'll be happy to stay again

The room is very cold. They have 2 heaters there but they only felt like luke warm water even when turned on. There are lots of mold around the window, esp in the bathroom. The bedding was terrible, big yellow mark and didn't feel clean at all. Reviewing from my computer but can provide photos...

The carpet on the stairs was very dirty, giving it a cheap hotel feel. The door lock was a bit damaged, making it look unsafe. The bar downstairs was lively until midnight, so I didn't get a good night's sleep. Overall, a poor stay. Not good value for money.

If you just need somewhere to stay for a night, it's fine. It does its job as a place to stay.
However, I don't think I'd want to stay there any longer. The bathroom stank, part of the window sill was missing, the door was hard to lock, and the wifi didn’t work. At least you couldn't hear the noise from the pub.

The Hanson hotel is the perfect location for the university's and the town centre ,rooms could do with a good update ,food and staff were exceptional would advise to make a visit even if it's for a drink and something to eat

The room was in the top floor and felt quiet. It’s very convenient to have the bar and restaurant just downstairs. I didn’t try the food but it was looking nice. The WiFi was good and the facilities in the room were great too with free tea and coffee. The bed could be improved but it was okay for a night. The room has in suite bathroom.

It's hard to find the location. It's scary if you go at night... It's connected to a store. And there's a really weird smell coming from the stairs. The room wasn't bad.

Food was really good and the staff couldn't have done more. Could have done without the security pushing me out of the way for no reason. And having had a lovely meal it was very disappointing not to get a seat downstairs. It did spoil the evening. Would I go back? For £45. No.

Good here is good value for money. Surroundings are modern but the tables and chairs on the ground floor are not practical as if you are an average size adult or taller you cannot get your legs under the table. The major negative about this venue is that the service is ultra slow. When we came the restaurant was only about half full but it took nearly two hours for the main courses to arrive. Such a shame.

Went here last night for the first time and won't be the last! Food was amazing, I'm vegetarian and they had great choices.
Was booked for my Fiancè's birthday and the staff were outstanding making it special, prosecco on arrival, free cocktails and a surprise free desert with sparkler!!
After dinner we went down stairs and watched a live band.
Can't rate this place enough!!

What an amazing place. Getting married here next year so decided to have a nice romantic meal on a Saturday night. Food was fantastic, drinks were very well made and the service was outstanding. Really looked after us. Best date night in ages.

We held our daughters wedding here in September. Nicole worked closely with her throughout the preparations and was always on hand to answer any queries. The food was excellent and service was quick and efficient with friendly, helpful staff. A special thank you to Bailey for making sure the day ran smoothly.
