Location was great; hotel was lovely but the rooms were not especially clean. For the four days the room wasn't cleaned properly nor were the beds even really made; the maids took wet towels and used cups away but didn’t replace them. We had to track them down to get replacements.

Hotel was well located. Very near the station. Room was large, spacious and clean. Heating in the room didn’t function. We complained once and it was fixed but stopped working again in the evening so when we woke up in the morning it was very cold. Room was on the second floor overlooking the rubbish bin area. It was also right where staff came out to have a cigarette so people were often hanging in pairs just below the window and chatting. Avoid room 211. Breakfast was adequate and reasonably priced.

The place was clean and spacious, in a great location, and the staff were polite and very helpful.

Due to the train, we arrived very late, but the staff at the front desk warmly welcomed us. The online check-in process was also very convenient. The room we stayed in had a skylight, which was quite nice. The overall style of the hotel also gave off a unique charm.❤️

The Apex hotel, location is just perfect. 5 minutes from Edinburgh Waverly station.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, accessibility.
Cons: It was just our experience, where we went out and came back to our room with a leaking bathroom. The upper light socket was pouring and leaking water.
But, the team quickly sent the maintenance to check, moved us to another room and provided a complimentary breakfast.

This is a really a good hotel, where you can easily walk to key locations and use public transport for travel.

A good place, and I would recommend to other fellow travelers.

I really like the location. It is really close to famous tourist spot. The facilities were also nice. The size of pool and sauna was not that huge, but enough to enjoy the time with your family. I went to this hotel during Christmas season and they prepared some mince pie and mulled wine at the reception. It was so nice and warm experience. Oh, at last i really fancy the mini size of lip balm and hand cream so much! And duck as well!

Avoid at all cost, the food was like from yesterday and microwaved, waitress was quite rude and disrespectful, she could hardly hear or understand what I ordered and yelled at me. My wife ordered an ABC salad and it turned out to be a disaster.

Seated for 4 people on a friday night, took too long to deliver our drinks, when the food finally arrived after 30 mins of waiting one got the wrong order, had to wait nearly 30-45 more mins for correct food. I had a classic cheeseburger and i was given the wrong order (it had bacon) seeing as i already touched it so i kept it but pulled the bacon off, it was nice until the 4th bite where it tasted sour for some reason. However desert was good, although you can not go wrongwith chocolate cake and ice cream, just wish there would have been more ice cream. While waiting for the check the machine went wrong and the person using it had to get help apparently it wasn't the first time it happened. For the establishment the music was too loud to have a conversation without shouting leading to a very sore throat. The waiter and waitress may have become deaf or hard of hearing due to the volume of the music

By far the worst experience I have ever had in Frankie and Benny's. We regularly go to one at Fort Kinnard which is always lovely.The omni one spoilt what was ment to be a childs birthday meal. Food cold. Service by far the worst I have ever experienced. Loads of server but extremely slow service. One course meal took 1hr 45m. Due to the long wait to play order then wait to be given food which had sat 10 mins under hotplate. Then trying to get the bill.
Never again.

I don't normally write reataueant reviews, but this restaurant at edinburgh omni centre is terrible, worst staffs, disrespectful, waited 45 minutes for food, and the BBQ chicken was still frozen inside, chicken breast was as tough as a rock, the steak was tasteless, the ribs just taste like meat with no marinate. If you want some real Italian food and some respect, don't ever ever come to this restaurant, and I mean it
