We stayed here for one night. It's a fabulous hotel with excellent service; I would definitely stay here again. If I had to be really critical, I'd say the dinner menu could have had a few more options, but that's just my opinion.

Found this gem in Itison. Dinner and breakfast at a beautiful modern hotel with excellent food. All the staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Sarah, who made our evening truly wonderful.

Stayed here before. Lovely hotel and easy access from buses from park and ride ...as well as buses to areas of the city we were going to on our trip.
Staff as always excellent, efficient and very friendly.

Amazing stay experience at the Ten Hill Place Hotel. I was on a trip with my mother. The staff here made our stay, checking in & out and the whole experience very easy and smooth. We did have some issues in our bathroom which was dealt with promptly by their staff. The place is very conveniently located near the center with major attractions just walks away like the royal mile, victoria street, princes street, castle and the scott monument. If you wish to travel by bus there is a bus stop just 2 mins away as well. We found lidl, sainsbury and some affordable food options just near the hotel. Although the hotel also offers their restaurant with amazing food. Our room had scenic mountain & city landscape views. Overall a very beautiful and convenient stay for people travelling or looking to explore Edinburgh. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely fantastic! The environment is great, and the hygiene is top-notch. I highly recommend it to everyone. The scenery is also incredibly beautiful.

We went for my 25th birthday and the hotel really did make the trip. Special shout out to Lacey who checked us in. She upgraded us to the most lovely room for my birthday which had the most unbelievable views and such a nice room. We loved watching the sun rise from Arthur’s seat out of our window🌅 Really easy check in process and her lovely service made it even better!
The staff in the hotel are lovely, super clean hotel and in a perfect location ( a very short walk to the royal mile and Arthur’s seat).
We can’t wait to return to this hotel on our next trip to Edinburgh☺️

Ten Hill Place was the perfect choice for our family’s trip to Edinburgh. The location is unbeatable—quiet yet central. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly professional and honest; my daughter misplaced her Apple Watch in a public area of the hotel, and thanks to the team's efficiency, we had it safely back before check-out. As a single mother, I felt very safe and well-looked after here. A truly high-end experience. Thank you.

Fresh, authentic and great tasting Pakistani/Indian food. The best in Edinburgh by far. The food is great. If you are coming to the restaurant for food, you will like the place for sure. Keema matar is the best I've tasted.... Self service drinks make this a relaxed place to eat. Probably the best Pakistani restaurant in Edinburgh. I highly recommend Kabob Mehal!

If you don't have much time - good to visit - otherwise - don't bother. We've ordered classic, medium kebab - it's totally not worth the price. 4£ for not big amount of chicken with a little bit of tomatoes and cucamber. You've got everything on a small plate.
Extra fee when you want to pay by card which seems ridiculous.
As a pros I'd count - sauces - hot is really hot and garlic one tastes like garlic.

Excellent Indian food (and of course kebabs) in a friendly cafe type setting that is a favourite of performers in the Fringe. Very tasty food in big portions with quick service at really competitive prices. Takeaways is available (which they won awards for!).

An excellent kebab shop with great lamb and chicken curries as well as the usual kebabs.
Kebab Mahal doesn't look great, in fact the decor is pretty basic but this is irrelevant because the food is great, the people are really friendly and the prices low.

my son ordered around midnight AFTER GETTING HOME FROM WORK looked on line to see how it was getting on ,,at the start looked ok BUT @ 2 AM in the morning got a phone call saying they could not deliver ( THE DOORBELL IS LOUD JUST IN CASE YOU THINK IT MUST BE QUITE ALSO WE DO HAVE A PHONE THEY COULD HAVE PHONED HIM IF THEY ""WERE AT THE DOOR AT ALL "" AND GETTING NO ANSWER )
THEY TOLD HIM YOU WILL GET A REFUND WITHIN A WEEK OR SO!!

I would recommend to try their fish and chips which is absolutely fresh and delicious. The price is very reasonable. Service is relatively good.

Food here was lovely and comes in quite large portions. The prices are reasonable and the staff were very friendly and to top it all off, they have a 20% student discount. Perfect for the financially restricted students.
