Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, and all the facilities were brand new. Housekeeping cleaned daily, and there's a gym and a bar downstairs – the environment is simply fantastic.

However, there were two minor issues. First, I requested "no corner room" in my booking notes, but the front desk still assigned me an end room on the fourth floor. While this was a bit uncomfortable, I did notice during booking that special requests require direct communication with the hotel, and I decided not to bother, so I can accept this.

The second small issue was with the facilities. The room had a window, but it couldn't be opened. I suspect this might only be the case for end rooms, and other rooms might be normal. The booking interface stated "inquire with the hotel about windows," and again, I didn't follow up, so I accept this minor inconvenience. It would be even better if these two aspects could be improved.

Overall, my stay was quite good. Of course, the final experience varies from person to person, so this is just for reference.

We had a really nice stay and stayed for one night only. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We received a complimentary room upgrade with a lovely view, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable, and the bed was excellent. It’s also a pet-friendly hotel, which is a big plus.

The staff were good and welcoming,
special mention to Sarah, who handled our check-in. She explained everything clearly, was very polite, and arranged the room upgrade, which made our stay even better.

Breakfast was okay, but there were limited vegetarian/vegan options. Also, the toaster was burning the toast, which could be improved.

The main downside was the parking. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but offers a discounted rate at the parking next door. Overnight parking costs £24, but with the hotel discount, it comes to £12. However, if you take your car out, you have to pay again every time you re-enter, which is quite inconvenient. It’s best to park once and avoid using the car overnight.

Overall, a comfortable stay with good staff and a great room, but breakfast options and parking convenience could be improved.

The hotel was absolutely fab and the staff were great! Didn’t get a chance to try the food, however the room was brilliant. Only wish there was a wardrobe but there is hangers and hooks provided in the room if you need to hang things.

Decent hotel really central. The rooms are small but you’ve got everything you need and they’re new. Breakfast was grand: my daughter loved the pancake machine. Gym had enough to keep you entertained. Lots of sitting areas downstairs with games: this was nice.

Lived everything about this hotel, especially the location. Room light, airy and clean. Breakfast, although a little pricey was really good, large selection. Would definitely recommend. Dogs are welcome, now that does deserve a massive 👍

Sadly I never caught his name but the guy who checked us in at the front desk was top class. Black ponytail and glasses. Just a really nice guy, chatting away to the kids, asked why we were there and when we told him it was for the James Arthur gig he went online to show us that he was definitely playing tonight after cancelling his gig the night before. Check is was simple. Up to our room. Nice room. Massive tv. Comfy bed and sofa bed all made up with clean bedding. Shower room and toilet is huge and spotless. Only flaw I found was a little pile of dust on the carpet behind the sofa bed but that was only because I moved it so we could all see the TV from our beds. Would definitely stay again. Perfect if you're going to a gig at the hydro.

Total disaster zone!

First I was told I couldn't order off the main menu so I had to pick off the pre concert one. Ordered a red bull - no red bull! Starters all came fine then out of the party of 5 myself and one of my friends main came. Then 10 minutes past and I had to ask if the rest of the mains where coming and also ask for more drinks. After eating my cold curry I ordered the chocolate gauteau surprise surprise NO GAUTEAU!! Then when the guy came to take payment he asked if everything was ok!! Well no I explained to him and he said sorry that they changed to a Korean restaurant 4 months ago. Not sure how that factors in with anything and after 4 months if no one can do their job properly then that job isn't for them!!!!! Will not be going back!

Fantastic food and fantastic service; went with 7 friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I had the seafood pad Thai and it was faultless. Second time I've been here and haven't been disappointed.

We arrived with more than 2 hours to spare before our show and were told they needed the table back in an hour which was not a problem. We ordered and there was an hour between courses, despite us having to remind them we still hadn't got our food. Then when it came it was wrong but since all the serving staff disappeared, we had no option but to eat since we were going to be late for our show by this time. Staff were too busy talking among themselves and ignoring our attempts to catch their attention. It was not a cheap meal and I was more than disappointed with everything about the restaurant.
