All staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. We used the pool from 6 until 7 in the evening which was a nice quite time to go
Great hotel, friendly staff, really enjoyed our stayed.
The swimming pool and sauna was closed, hugely disappointing. No communication about this.
Lovely hotel on the edge of the city centre. Very comfy rooms, nicely refurbished. Executive lounge was lovely but evening snacks are all table service which slows things down
Excellent facilities and near all local amenities making this a great location for any type of traveller due to its location.
4pm check in is a bit late but our rooms were ready early which helped

Besides that tho, would recommend! The gym and swimming pool are nice too, and breakfast buffet is also a big plus!
All rooms on the same corridor so it was very handy and made for a better stay for us as we were celebrating a birthday. would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Glasgow
We stayed for the confetti awards. The only grip I would mention was the room wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. Everything else was perfect.
Great night away with some friends. had three rooms and the hotel were very accommodating and even let us check in early
Very clean and very accessible to bus station and restaurant.
Lovely bar, great afternoon tea and friendly staff

Also the shower screen did not close meaning lots of water was spilled onto the floor when taking a shower. One of the bath towels in the room had a hole in it
I would only have good things to say about this hotel and its staff! !!
Great experience. Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff
Lovely clean and confertable. Friendly
Disappointed that at least the face towel was not lint-free. The iron and board were clean and functioned well
Other small things were that there is only one chair in the room meaning my wife had to sit on the bed. Also only one tea spoon in the room. This is not what I would expect from a Marriott Hotel!

Utterly impressed by the location, cost and professionalism of the hotel. Wish I could stay longer
We got it at a time when rates were cheap so it was so worth the money. The pool and sauna were great and we were allowed to use it after check out too. Reception staff were always helpful
Good view from the window too of the river
Nice hotel but please watch out when they ask for your card details just in case you spend anything. £50 has been pending from my account for just under a week when they said it would drop off
The hotel facilities are a bit old and the cleanliness was just okay. The air conditioning wasn't great, and they provided a heater in the room during winter, but it looked a bit dirty
No dental kit was available as they were out of stock but the gym facilities and location was excellent. Staff were also helpful

I booked a superior room and was upgraded to a suite upon arrival. This is the only hotel I've stayed at since leaving London that provided toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers
We accidentally left a backpack in the lobby when we checked out, and the staff were incredibly responsible, keeping in contact with us repeatedly until they helped us arrange for it to be picked up
The front desk staff were very warm and patient, and the room was quite spacious. The location is excellent, within a 20-minute walk to both Glasgow city center and the train station
Glasgow is a truly magical city, with its blend of medieval architecture and modern office buildings lining the streets, always giving you a sense of transcending time
The hotel's dinner was very good, offering great value for money, and the pizza was especially delicious – the kids loved it
Very friendly and helpful staff. Bottled water is provided daily, and disposable slippers are available upon request

Some dust and little dirt here and there but overall ok. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that but did go to the champagne bar and absolutely loved it. The drinks, staff and view- spectacular
We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was spacious and the beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The bathroom was fine and the shower was amazing
The staff at reception were so bubbly too: The only thing I would change would be the coffee in the room as it was terribly weak
Great experience so far. From start to finish. Staff fantastic. Room is great. Spacious and worth every penny. We went to the waldorf Astoria 2 weeks ago and this is far superior. Will visit again. Ty
Best Location if you want to explore Glasgow. They have small surprises that will make you at home and important.
Staff was nice, and helped me by storing luggage between my two stays with them in Glasgow while I did two nights in Loch Lomond to do some hiking and didn’t want to drag my bulky suitcase along

Top notch! Love the contemporary design, and the free movies! The changing mood lights of the bathroom wall are literally the best thing invented haha massive bed and is definitely a bonus! staff are awesome and can recommend cool local places to visit and see and are up for some banter too! Standard hotel bar, no gym, good transport links (literally in the middle of city centre)
Phenomenal stay, really friendly staff! Would highly recommend to visitors to Glasgow!
I love the stay here. Perfect location next to the Bus Station and day trip meeting point. City center is only cost 2 minutes and you can get what you want! Staff are incredibly friendly, the best hotel in glasgow
It had a homely feel and had some truly unique features like an ipad to control the TV, the lights (brightness and colour - very cool again!!), blinds (and more) and you could even play games with the lights
First of all, the staff member who greeted me was super friendly, asked me about my trip and the check in process was probably the easiest, fastest and most modern process I have ever experienced anywhere
Room was spotless and bed nice and comfortable. Loved the first floor area where you could get food and drinks or just chill . Food was lovely and the staff really friendly. Will definitely go back.

We even squeezed in a 30mins incredible spa experience the next morning with 2 thermal hydro pools, 2 saunas, 1 infra red lounge and a salt room for use! We really enjoyed this luxurious experience and will definitely try the other Kimptons in the near future!
We loved the very spacious room and toilet with a separate bathtub and shower area - there was also a king bed, sofa at its foot facing the wall mounted TV with ample space to open up both luggages to pack for our train back to London the next morning
It was a really good experience and i absolutely enjoyed my stay at the hotel and i enjoyed using the facilities
An outstanding hotel! From the decor, to the staff, and the food, this hotel was beautiful. Highly recommend for a comfortable and high end stay for a gift.
We had a quick but absolutely lovely time at the Kimptons Glasgow
We arrived pretty late about 7pm by car and quickly checked in before returning our Europcar rental which was just 8mins drive away then heading to dinner - a comfortable 25mins walk back to the hotel illustrating its great location

Being at the edge of the Glasgow city centre, it is not a low cost stay and the breakfast is way too expensive, £16 if pre-book. One morning the boiler was down, no hot water at all
Excellent value for money, great leisure facilities, great staff, great location, will definitely visit again
The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms are nice, very clean & very comfortable. We chose the hotel because of location & that it had a pool
The pool is tiny & open beyond hotel guests so is crowded & on the weekend lots of kids, so couldn’t use for lap exercise which was disappointing
These are small details , but the do make a difference and are usually appreciated after along day of travel. Overall , I had a very comfortable experience and would happily stay here again
I also loved how spacious the room was , it made the stay more relaxing and comfortable. The only small downside the room didn’t include slippers , a bathrobe or toothpaste

Such a handy hotel for early hospital appointments. Staff are so lovely and welcoming too. Stayed a few times now and can’t praise the staff and food high enough. Especially George, Liam and James to name a few!
Traveller their for a business stay with two others and was perfect for the short stay!
Have stayed at this place a few times now over many years. Great location, staff friendly. However comparing it to our other visits to (The Ponds) Leonardo we had a few niggles. Most of these concerned the bathroom
The ceiling looked awful, like mould and the seal around the bath needed redoing. Lots of black mould, due to no ventilation. We knew beforehand there was no air-con, however the temperature was unbelievably hot
There was a lot of choice but the food from the hot plate was not hot only lukewarm. Our other visits we went out for our meals. Cannot fault the staff they were always polite, friendly and eager to help
We stayed at The Leonardo for medical appointments at Gartnaval General Hospital which was just 5 mins away. The hotel was clean but does need some upgrades within the rooms and lobbies

On arrival our luggage was taken to our room and we were shown to our bar table; even though we arrived after the kitchen shut we were able to order the food in advance and it was delicious! Room felt luxury and cooked breakfast made to order was very tasty
We would've had breakfast but it was quite expensive so we ate out
The inside was probably the cleanest hotel we have been in with booking the executive room the space in the room was very big, the mirrors are excellent along with the shower being rainfall and having the normal head as well
Capable of making a vast variety of cocktails beyond their listed menu. And can also make a mean virgin margarita for pregnant or teetotal folk. Good atmosphere and general swank fun place to visit.
The service was next level, with us going to get a taxi at one point outside the hotel and a staff member coming out to put an umbrella over us
You must try the food as well being one of the best breakfasts we’ve had, along with room service we ordered a burger that was to die for

it's really uncomfortable, the room is so small and also smells mariyuana around the corridor, The first room we got smelled stingy , The second we got small and still smelly even though it didn't smell like the first one, however this room good for backpacker not for the family, Not recommended, no amenities at all only towel we got
Quite small room, limited space for a suitcase and a bag only. Mattress was not the best one and the AC unit was quite noisy
Rooms are on the smaller side but if it's cheap and cheerful you're after then it does the job, was clean and tidy and no issues whatsoever and if you happen to be heading to the Hydro and taxi's/ubers are an issue at end of the night then, its about a 25min walk back to the hotel
I can clearly hear noises from the corridors and from next door, but im not a light sleeper so that's fine for me. Nice bed, comfy, but very small, i booked a room with two beds eventually
This hotel is perfect for a good budget trip but don't expect amenities like kettle and hairdryer in the rooms. Toilets are small but good enough for normal use. Would come again!
Exactly what my friend and I were looking for, we were only in the city for 1 night for a concert so for what we needed it done us grand

Excellent stay in a centrally located hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
Nice breakfast and options like water dispenser/board games were really appreciated, as well as the attention to recycling
Would definitely consider staying again given the value for money for the city centre
Had a nice hand written welcome letter and some free iron bru in the room because we booked with the parent companies reward program

Everything that we needed from the room was perfect and hassle free, no noise from the outside or from the bar downstairs and the leisure of an 11am check out allowed up to get up and ready at our own pace
The rooms were a little tired though, with fraying carpet, old fixtures, and generally in need of a little love. The room was only £89 for the night, which seemed about right
Nice room, nice staff, very clean and comfortable, enjoyed our stay, would have been even better if we had beaten New Zealand at the rugby but it wasn’t to be.
I booked for 2 nights and traded a room clean for a drink at the bar, worth the trade! Only had 2 issues… my room had a street lamp right outside the window and a blackout option would help with sleeping
To top it all off we were both sprawled out on the king sized bed and out for the count for much needed catch up on sleep
Great spacious rooms and wonderful breakfast - a little away from the city centre but walkable with ease.

George Square is right in front of the hotel, though it's currently under renovation. The hotel has a classic feel, and the rooms are clean and tidy. For housekeeping, you need to hang the sign on your door before 10 AM
Convenient and clean place. Reception staff Jojo is a wonderful lady that always greeted us with lovely smile. Good experience for me and my wife. Location is perfect as is located right next to Queen Street station.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Glasgow Queen Street Station – just a two-minute walk after getting off the train
The area around the hotel is very lively and it's not far from the main shopping street

It's alright. If you're just looking for a place to stay for one night, the price is quite high. Don't expect too much else. However, if you're willing to spend more, you can stay in a room on a better floor.
Great room, up to date, friendly staff, sweet location, the restaurant in the basement had a lovely atmosphere. Definitely going to book this hotel again another time
Hotel is great: second time I’ve stayed. Breakfast is fantastic and great service in the restaurant. I’d definitely recommend making it down to the restaurant.
Also, do visit the Kelvingrowe Art Gallery and Museum, it's a five minute walk from the hotel
All great experience, just needs fresh fruit options with breakfast

Nice quiet hotel in a lovely part of Glasgow - just far enough from the city centre to not be noisy, but close enough to explore. Does what it says on the tin.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in and check out seamless. Great friendly service, thanks Alan. Great value for money in a very central location
The price is unbeatable for the quality. Paid extra for breakfast, and it was lovely. Room was cozy and clean, bathroom great and bed very comfy. The man dealing with me - also named Kevin - was just delightful
Great deal - location just next to West Side of Downtown, Stuff very accommodating, Safe Access to the Building.
Located just off Glasgow's West End it's a great location to explore Glasgow. Cosy rooms which were spotlessly clean and the room cleaned daily. Great breakfast choices and as much tea and coffee as you like
Kevin who was on duty for the first couple of days was amazing. He was non stop attending to everyone. His recommendations were spot on and even though he was feeling unwell still had a cheery disposition

Friendliness from the staff throughout our stay from arrival to breakfast to checking-out. Room was huge for 3 persons, bathroom and sleeping area were spotless, beddings were comfy and fresh
Quickly and very helpfully resolved a check in issue. Very hospitable. Fab location . Had a lovely stay and hope to be back next time I'm in Glasgow
Excelente location with friendly staff. The lack of an elevator was an issue. If you can't climb stairs, request a ground floor room. There's a nice river trail steps from the hotel
Nice location. Helpful staff. Parking was a little tight getting in and out but free. Clean. Close to botanical garden and west end restaurants.
Good traditional small Hotel. Staff were really fun and enthusiastic. Comfy room with good bathroom. Nice for central Glasgow

Warm friendly reception Easy check in, helpful advice Clean and tidy room, wasn’t overly big but enough space for me and all my Christmas shopping bags Room was warm when I arrived If your going back to hotel late at night you need to press buzzer but response was immediate with my key ready at reception for me (you need to leave your key when you go out) Spiral stair case which could be an issue...
The location is excellent absolutely in the center and near all facilites you may need The reception staff was really friendly and helpful The room is nice and clean and have all the equipment needed For the price and location i highly recommend
This place is charming, clean and stylish with real wood floors and sophisticated lighting. The location is superb, just off Argyle St and round the corner from GOMA. There is no food available but no noisy bar either
Beautiful building and excellent location! At first the area seemed a bit "scruffy", but it is in perfect proximity to everything you need - even 2 train stations. ! The service is pleasant and helpful
The rooms are great and spacious with plenty of space to hang clothes. The shower is a bit "moldy", but works perfectly - once you manage to decode how to turn it on (and set the temperature
One of the things that appealed to me was that I had to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. In 2022 we really shouldn't be doing unnecessary cleaning of rooms and washing of towels

This was great for an overnight. Its a budget hotel, it was clean and warm. Room had everything you would expect: tea/coffee, television, hair dryer and, of course, bed. Shower in bathroom is a mutli nozzle one
Good value. Clean. Excellent shower. Good central location!
I recommend you 'book a spot' with the hotel when you book your room, as apparently they do have a bookable car park (that's not mentioned). Overall - not bad, and I'd consider an overnight stay there again
A bit noisy, being *right in the centre of Glasgow* - but then again, the convenience of being *right in the centre of Glasgow* was pretty good. Near to Charing Cross station, so travel links good
Took a little figuring out, but worth the effort. Room at ground level and back of hotel. Area outside communal to several buildings and used as a smoking area. Staff very friendly and helpful
Newton hotel was a very nice hotel. I had a single room which was plenty spacious for me and breakfast was cooked to order which was nice especially since it was complimentary
