The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by the train station and within easy reach of restaurants, shops, the bus station, and several major shopping malls. Everything you need is practically on the doorstep, within walking distance.

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had one standout feature: a proper BATH! So many hotels have done away with this, but being able to unwind after a full day of shopping, work or getting ready for a night out makes such a huge difference. It was genuinely one of the highlights of the stay :)
It’s worth noting that breakfast isn’t currently being served, but with plenty of pubs, cafés, bakeries, bars, and shops nearby, finding something good to eat is no problem at all.

Convenient and clean place. Reception staff Jojo is a wonderful lady that always greeted us with lovely smile. Good experience for me and my wife. Location is perfect as is located right next to Queen Street station.

Booked online and inadvertently booked for the next day, instead of preferred travel days in May. Immediately attempted to contact the hotel to make change and was denied. “no change allowed”. That sucks it was a simple mistake of wrong date that I tried to correct right away and was given no grace…

Beautiful location for an old world quaint hotel but badly in need of investment. Everything looks tired and dated, and I mean everything from the carpets to the lift’s.
The hotel was quiet with few guests. Breakfast was disappointing. I had stayed here before so was disappointed. The hotel deserves better as it is a magnificent old building with enormous character.
I stay in Millennium hotels regularly so this was unexpected. I will definitely rethink my hotel selection on my next visit to Glasgow.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Glasgow Queen Street Station – just a two-minute walk after getting off the train. George Square is right in front of the hotel, though it's currently under renovation. The hotel has a classic feel, and the rooms are clean and tidy. For housekeeping, you need to hang the sign on your door before 10 AM. The area around the hotel is very lively and it's not far from the main shopping street.

Amazing location. Building is a grand old building. Double room with city view was large with great views directly onto George Square. The furniture in the room is quite dated but all very functional and everything you’d need was available.

Great location next to Queen St Station. Old hotel. Room was comfy but we booked an executive room and no idea what made it "executive". The room had the minimum id expect at any hotel and no extra benefits. Having stayed at other millenium hotels i had expected more. The bed was comfy but couldn't sleep in due to the works going on outside the hotel starting at 8am. Very average hotel.

The hotel’s location is excellent and very beautiful, and the property overall is good with great heating.
However, most of the front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, especially the morning and afternoon shift on 26/11/25

Went along, service was excellent, pasta a tad dry. Difficult thing to serve to high quality precooked pasta. Observations noted. Will try something different next time.

If you are a meat Eater order the steak. Amazing! Staff very friendly and even though they was packed i was served in a timely fashion!

Food is okay. It was a lot better a few years ago. Seems like the standards have dropped. Menu used to be more interesting ang varied.

On our first visit to Jamie's Italian although the meal in general was good, I was disappointed with my pasta dish of the day, I found it to be too dry, however I was contacted by one of the managers via TripAdvisor asking me to contact him. We were invited to visit the restaurant again as he was sorry the pasta wasn't up to scratch, we duly revisited Jamie's Italian and were not disappointed at all 2nd time round everything was perfect especially the pasta dish of the day, the staff were amazing as was the antipasti and main meals, well done for great customer service and after care, we will return.

I had a fantiastic time at Jamie's Italian. I took my two best friend's for lunch and the food was incredible. One of my friends who is vegetarian was pleased that there were so many dishes he could have. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all amazing, I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with views of the city, and you don't need to stay at the hotel to eat here. I liked the food very much. And you can relax as nobody will rush you.

A lovely restaurant with good old fashioned standards, manners and service. Genuinely friendly, no gimmicks or pretentious foodie nonsense. Great food and a well-considered menu. Overall, a great oasis of calm atop the hustle and bustle of the city. We were looked after by Carol throughout who was just fab. We'll be back again next time we're in Glasgow.
