We had 3 nights to recover from cycling the GGW and finished in Inverness. A great hotel right next to the river and opposite the castle.

Lovely hotel in a central location. Great views of the River especially at night when it’s all lit up. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

The room is small and not very clean - dust in many areas. Receptionist is very cool and too patient in answering questions.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was clean and warm. The only thing to mention was the pool area which needs a spruce up especially all the rust that shows. A couple more chairs needed too as there were only two to relax on but fortunately we were the only couple there. The pool was perfect for a swim which we did enjoy.

Room was big and spacious, Heating in room was toasty. Breakfast was good Only let down was the freezing cold pool which is classed as a leisure pool. Was expecting it to be warm.

The bed, although I paid for a queen or king ended up being two separate beds put together, and both of them had huge divots in them from where people have been sleeping. The hotel needs pre notification if you need housekeeping. But I already pre notified needed housekeeping, there’s no housekeeping at all. When I asked front desk, she said she is new in hotel and doesn’t know all the rooms numbers and location yet. I think this is not a good reason.

Just a heads-up for anyone driving, this hotel doesn't have a parking lot. The cleanliness wasn't outstanding, but it was acceptable. On the bright side, the breakfast was fantastic, and the service was really good. Overall, it's a decent stay.

Hotel is nearly renovated, spacious, which you can’t expect from HolidayInn standard. The hotel offer enough parking lot and the breakfast is really good. Your hotel located just outside the city.

The place was so cozy and immaculate. The staff was incredible!! Shout out to Jonathan, the manager; Isla, the front end; the bartender, Emile; and the cleaning staff. My family was equally pleased. We would definitely stay here again!!

The Beaufort was incredibly beautiful. The staff that we interacted with were all excellent! About a five-ten minute walk from the train station and there were several food options close by.

If we ever return to Inverness we would be delighted to return to The Beaufort. The bathrooms were very up-to-date. The staff a delight. Location is super convenient to the city. We especially liked the public rooms on the ground floor.

Good location however parking was very limited. We were staying 2 nights and didn’t manage to get a space resulting in us having to pay for parking when the website stated free parking it was a big factor in choosing this hotel. Perfect location, right next to the station in the city centre. A grand lobby and friendly staff made check in fast and simple. Room was basic but had everything I needed and was clean, bec very comfortable. Inverness is a lovely little city and I'd have no hesitation staying at the Royal again.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Basic breakfast but good. Great location in Inverness. There is parking out fron but only a small carpark compared to hotel size so not guaranteed to get a spot near the hotel.

Paid for a double room with double bed , checked when I left bags & advised that's what I had but it was two large singles when I booked in . Very clean Meal in Ash restaurant was disappointing but staff didn't care

Quite an old hotel. Hotel room has a flight of stairs up after getting off to the floor via lift. A little inconvenience for heavy luggages. Location is great just by the underground station.

Royal highland hotel is well located and they are just nest the mall. The hotel is well kept and room is well maintained. Areas are surrounding by restaurants and pub. The only cons is that car parking lots is limited and it first come first serve basic. Min walk to castle and major attractions

We stayed here for the convenient location, and had a bit of an emergency. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. I will make this my regular place to stay every time I am in the area, which is 4-5x a year. Fantastic food too!

Beautiful small town feel. Family like atmosphere, the rooms were extremely clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. Easy bus route into Inverness or close enough by taxi to not cost a fortune. Complimentary breakfast was amazing unlike just the continental offered at most big chain hotels. It was so so, my bed was sinking me in and that was really uncomfortable. There was no protein included in the breakfast, only carbs. Everything else was ok.

Overall good stay! Booked close to the holidays so the deal was good! However, the bathroom was mouldy and very congested. Apart from that usual amenities and breakfast options. Very accessible location! The staff were very polite and easy going.

The location is good. It was a solo journey but the place is decent for emergency and quick letting. Although, I would say the service and cleanliness could be better. Only consider this if you're on a budget and you need a quick let in Inverness. However, I'm glad the availability is there.

Room was impeccable with extremely comfy bed. All facilites were on hand and area was so quiet given its close proximity to town centre. Hosts were welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend and will definitely go again.

We had a wonderful stay at Furan Guesthouse. The owner was very friendly and funny. She had wonderful suggestions for activities and even had laminated packets of information on the area, which proved to be very helpful. Attention to detail is evident throughout the guest house. We loved the three-room family suite. It gave us plenty of room to spread out.

We stayed in one of the apartments which was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant had very good food and drinks (you could tell there were locals there as well as hotel guests) and the staff was as accommodating and polite as can be.

We stayed in a small building opposite the main building, which is a B&B style hotel. The internal parking lot is convenient for parking, and the waiter can also help with luggage enthusiastically, but it is too busy. It feels good considering the expectations of a B&B.

I stayed here in my campervan on one of their lovely level pitches which all had individual water, waste, electric and even TV point. Didnt need the TV point as the views from the windows including Kites battling in the wind were amazing. I stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was amazing and I ate Venison and Belly Pork and even persuaded to try the Ginger and Date pudding...
