Overall, this place is fine, but it's disappointing considering it's a Holiday Inn. The decor is very tired and in need of a refresh. There's no lunch available, and the quality of the food is pretty average. However, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds were nice and comfy.

A few small niggles with the room, we were only given 3 towels for 4 of us, the shower temperature knob was broken and kept falling off without barely being touched and there was also a clump of hair under one of the duvets which was a bit gross. The kids used the pool, the changing rooms are very basic and could at least do with a few hooks in/near the showers but they had fun. Breakfast was enjoyed...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Air conditioning was a little noisy but bearable. Breakfast was standard, nice and hot / fresh, we paid £6 per person. Property is a little older, needs updating / maintenance. Stayed at this hotel last year. Such wonderful staff - very helpful and friendly! Decent size pool although could be cleaner. Rooms/bathrooms/dining area were all really clean. Breakfast was lovely, a good variety of food available. It was a lovely break, we all really enjoyed our stay including the kids. Good location for exploring the city.

My family and I stayed here last Friday during Stirm Eunice on route to London. Easy to access off M4. Rooms spacious beds comfy we were below ground floor so no view to speak off and there was an odd smell dispelled somewhat when windows opened. Clean, modern, and perfectly situated between the Bay and the city center. The power shower was great and the "Express Start" breakfast was a lovely bonus. Special shoutout to the reception team who were incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel but bit out of way of Cardiff centre. I stayed for one night at Holiday Inn Express and had an excellent experience. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. Everything was comfortable and well organised, which made the stay stress-free. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Lovely setting - room clean and tidy - will need a bit of maintenance in the future. We didn’t have a vehicle so required uber. Bus service close but not direct to Cardiff. Overall highly recommend

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this hotel. The bathroom was very cold, and the toilet tank took a long time to refill after flushing. The radiator in the room was also noisy and disturbing. In addition, the soundproofing was very poor, and we could clearly hear all the noise from the room next door. Overall, the stay was not comfortable, and I expected a much better experience.

Was OK to stay here, but the lack of support really dings the overall experience. The lack of reception was not a problem, and I was able to get into the building/room using the provided instructions easily. Lovely location and sitting in the garden when sunny was a delight. The choice of food is a bit limited but delicious. That being said, for a 4* hotel & Spa, I would not have expected broken garden furniture to be on view to the public and made the place look a little unkempt.

The staff were so friendly and helpful on arrival. They helped with check in and were knowledgeable! They had also gone the extra mile for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday; adding a not, balloons, and gift. Honestly it was such a lovely surprise!

The location of this hotel is between Cardiff Bay and the city centre; it’s a 20 minute walk to each give or take. The studio flat concept would be great for someone here for work. Breakfast is pretty much the same as Holiday Inn Express. Overall this hotel is slightly better than that but not on the level of a Crowne Plaza or more premium hotel.

You cannot get a better property in the price. It was very comfortable, had all the amenities, and was truly amazing! Best IHG property I’ve ever stayed at.

had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Cardiff. The room size was amazing, far more spacious than I expected and it made the whole stay feel extra comfortable and relaxing. A very clean hotel. Nice accomodation on the quayside. 15-20min walk to the city centre, about £6 in an uber. 2 night stay, didnt see many staff but the ones we did see were doing great work. A star off for the room not being serviced but wasn't a disaster, and one off for location as not alot to do in the immediate area. However this did mean it was nice and quiet at night.

I went with my boyfriend for a two-day trip to Cardiff and stayed here. It was a wonderful place for the price we paid. The room was clean and new, the bathroom was really great, and we also had a cute balcony. The TV had Netflix which was amazing. I definitely recommend this place. ❤️

Stayed here for 3 nights and what a lovely little B&B it is. Room was lovely spacious , clean and decorated tastefully. Breakfast was a lovely selection of light choices I especially liked was the extra dried fruits for your cereal or yogurt. Only downfall is the lounge diner is freezing definately need some heating put in there. Close to the city centre and on a direct bus route.
