Hotel is in the city centre, so its very noisy but if you book a room here then you should already know, its glorious inside, it's massive! Loved the continent location of the hotel across the road is the castle too, very close to the train station loved all the convince

Rooms need a refurb but the hotel staff do a wonderful job of cleaning. Bed is super comfy and the room is quite big, TV is basic freeview

The lift wasn’t working but they were happy to help me with my suitcases to the 3rd floor

Its a shame really as the hotel is very much part of Cardiff's history but you get the impression that the owners are just making-do presumably because the cost of bringing the hotel up to date will cost millions - sorry won't be back

tayed at Clayton Hotel Cardiff for a weekend and it was excellent. The location is perfect — right next to Cardiff Central Station and just a short walk to Principality Stadium and the city centre

Location is extremely good closed to Cardiff station. Room is big. Clean bed. Restaurant looks good. Is one of good choice to stay in Cardiff.

The room was modern, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly staff and a good breakfast selection. Great value for a 4-star hotel in the heart of Cardiff

Excellent location. Room was ok but floor a bit dusty. Comfortable beds disappointed there were no bathrobes or slippers. I would normally expect this in a deluxe room

Nice hotel, very good location. Breakfast is good but food is the same everyday. You need to pay £5 to visit a pool.

Everything was fine, but we didn't have a good view despite paying for a high-floor room. Also, there was only one bathrobe in our room rather than two, but they gave us one more when we asked

And the bathroom sink drain had a problem, so water barely passed through. Overall, the breakfast, pool facilities, and luggage storage were excellent for us

Room was spacious and clean. Didn’t eat there. Hotel was in the middle of a very large car park which was in the process o being developed so the immediate environment was not attractive.

The location near Cardiff Bay is excellent with plenty of places to eat and things to see nearby. Free parking was also a big bonus. Would happily stay here again

A tidy hotel with very friendly staff. Location is slightly out of town but has parking. Breakfast was basic but decent enough.

Great stay at Future Inn Cardiff. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful

Couldn’t get it below 17 degrees. Found food packaging behind the chair. Hotel itself was all fine though. Restaurant was quite slow and food was average but quite expensive. A coat hook would have been useful

Customer service from Trizia was second to none, She is an absolute credit to the hotel. We'll be back based on her service alone, but the hotel is fantastic!

We stay in Cardiff for a few nights. Got the sea view. The view was amazing. We had breakfast on bed. Many choices of food to get for breakfast. Bathroom have a bathtub which is nice 👍🏼

The bed and linens were high quality, and I slept better here than I do at home! Small details, like complimentary water, good lighting, and thoughtful amenities, made a big difference

The location was perfect and the hotel onot self was good, tje only downfall for me was the heating system rattled in the bedroom. along difficult to fall asleep

Hotel had a system downtime so couldn’t accommodate any requests. One of the staff members wanted to help but her manager came and declined any help whatsoever. Hotel clearly empty but lied it was fully booked

Great place to stay, central to city centre. Fabulous amenities in the hotel, safe available and fridge in the room to use at no extra cost. Spacious rooms, gym available, outdoor public space available to guests

I been to cheaper hotels paid for thr cheapest budget room amd got some decent amenities

our room was extremely nice and a good location and we had a great night's sleep on a very comfortable mattress

I would recommend supplying Kleenex in bathroom and possibly a fan in bathroom to compensate for the steam and heat from showering

We just spent the one night here while attending a family occasion. The staff were friendly, the room spacious and very clean and all this at an excellent price. Lots of free parking and local shops/food outlets

Our little dog was with us and made a complete fuss of by both staff and customers which she loved. Overall a lovely stay in a great hotel in an ideal location for accessing cardiff and surrounding areas

Room’s Carpets has several stains also bit old interior. Went to celebrate wife’s birthday which was mentioned at reception but nothing to be done as special apart from we booked 3 rooms

It has available some stores however hotel has very limited amenities

Novotel as usual our prferred hotel made us feel comfortable like always. Though some issue in room ptovided, Novotel team made sure to fix it

Other than the Sheraton brand, I also bet on the Novotel brand. France has been known as the country of hospitality for centuries and the Novotel is always a good example of that

I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs

My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room

Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view

Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for

The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room

I have a really mixed feeling about this hotel

Vintage touch with a carpet and wooden desk. Spacious rooms for the price with a bathtub. There are no power sockets next to the bed. Perfect location next to the castle. I have not heard any noise at night

Good facilities, great location, clean and tidy room. Nice and spacious. Helpful staff. Downside is having to pay for parking, but otherwise a great place to stay.

If i was being really picky the room, bathroom and corridor could probably do with a refurb or bit of tlc but for a 1 or 2 night stay the hotel ticks all the boxes and we were really pleased that we chose Holiday Inn

Overall, it was a good experience. The reception staff was a bit rude. Room service was not satisfactory. It was overpriced. The AC was not working, and there was no ventilation.

The staff at reception was really helpful. We arrived slightly early then check in times, still they were able to accomodate us. The spa and swimming pool were immaculate.

It’s my 2nd stay at Holland house hotel Cardiff by Sunday and it’s 2nd of many more, fantastic hotel all round. 100% recommended

Was the cheapest option I could find on that day, but it really impressed me. Location was good, right next to Cardiff queen street and around 20 mins by foot from Cardiff central

Hotel is located in the city centre. NCP car parking is £11 for 24 hours for hotel guests. Rooms are nice, modern, and clean. At £34 per night, it’s very cheap and excellent value for money.

Hotel was nice, staff were friendly and had all the necessary amenities. Rooms were quite small but sufficient unless you have big luggages

Only issue I had was that there’s a dip in the middle of the bed which was quite strange

I don’t understand why I was given a room just opposite to the fire door (and being sandwiched between other rooms) even when I asked a quiet room - probably because of my race? The room itself was small, without table and chairs, and without kettle

The coffee machine in the lobby dispenses hot water for free, and staff members at reception were helpful in this case. Hygiene was fine but lime scale and grease were visible on the shower head

A few small niggles with the room, we were only given 3 towels for 4 of us, the shower temperature knob was broken and kept falling off without barely being touched and there was also a clump of hair under one of the duvets which was a bit gross

Breakfast was lovely, a good variety of food available. It was a lovely break, we all really enjoyed our stay including the kids. Good location for exploring the city

I think a small clear up at the back end of the car park could be beneficial, we pulled up late in the evening and when we went back to the car the following morning there were lots of screws in the back spaces (thankfully we were lucky and had none in our tyres) plus a few of the end spaces couldn't be used due to over grown shrubs and loads of mud

The kids used the pool, the changing rooms are very basic and could at least do with a few hooks in/near the showers but they had fun

Great for a stopover, obviously a bit noisy being next to the busy road but you know that when booking

Breakfast was enjoyed by all with a great selection, the modern reception area looked great

A very nice 48 hours spent in the city of Cardiff. Holiday Inn Express was very nice & is recommended. Not far from Cardiff Bay & the city centre. Car parking charge was reasonable

Clean, modern, and perfectly situated between the Bay and the city center. The power shower was great and the "Express Start" breakfast was a lovely bonus

We were advised not to walk back at night but use a cab service as the area being developed and we were just warned it may not be as safe as we would expect Hotel was busy and at breakfast it was hard to find a table free or cleaned for you

This is our third visit to this hotel. Our room was on the third floor, accessible via the lift and overlooked the waterfront. Comfortable, spacious and very clean

Parking cost £10 for 24 hours which we thought was reasonable. It’s an easy walk to the Millennium Centre for shows and events and everything else that Tge Bay offers

Great location and extremely friendly staff! The room was clean and spacious. It’s close to all the major shops, restaurants, and bars. 10-15 minutes walk from the Cardiff Castle

The hotel is in a very good location, right next to Cardiff Railway Station and the downtown commercial street. It is also very close to the castle, only a ten-minute walk away

The room is large and suitable for two people to live in. The scenery outside the house is very down-to-earth.

It is close to the Cardiff University area and about twenty minutes walk to Mermaid Quay

Location is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in. Absolutely fantastic, and £38/night

Location good, separate parking good, staff lovely, bed very comfy, bathroom very tired and slightly smelly, breakfast ok for pre paid price £6 but wouldn't pay the price of £8+ by just turning up for it

For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations

Double room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet

I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for

After having to book this hotel becouse the hotel I booked originally had double booked my room and was given the choice of the ibis as I was there in December and enjoyed our stay and the price was right for one night the room was clean with big bathroom and 2 beds we were please with it

Room was clean, tidy and warm which was really nice in the colder weather. There wasn’t a huge amount of amenities but for a small hotel the amenities provided proved just enough

It's a family run business and is in a great location. The only thing that stopped this hotel from getting 5 stars is that the shower was really cold

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this hotel. The bathroom was very cold, and the toilet tank took a long time to refill after flushing. The radiator in the room was also noisy and disturbing

Great, little budget hotel and well equipped. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable, location is perfect, close to the train station. Maybe the carpet could have been cleaner. I would stay again.

Really good stay. Clean room with extras like iron and fan already inside which is a real bonus. Sky Sports on TV was great, good shower and good buffet breakfast. Would stay again.
