Very convenient and good service
Decent hotel, centrally located close to the train station making it a very convenient place to stay. Staff very welcoming and took into account my special request and booked me a quiet room which was appreciated. Breakfast, nothing special, just like any other hotel breakfast in the uk. Good views at the breakfast area, staff on hand to help and often going out of their way to help. Service was...
Generally all the services were good; but it’s still a bit disappointed that even slippers were not available in the room. Hope that could be improved in the next stay.
big room, so convenient if going for train, it would be a good choice for business trip.
I stayed here for one night for a brief business trip to Cardiff. Its location is amazing right next to the main train station. this made it very very convenient to travel in from London and check in within minutes. The room was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great. The breakfast was also quite impressive considering the hotel isn’t very expensive.
It was ok , location is perfect but Heating system was not that much good

Room was lovely ,spotless and spacious. Staff were friendly and nothing was any bother. Anti bac stations everywhere. We were well looked after and would highly recommend this hotel.
A really great check-in from Rosie, she made us feel so welcome and made time to assist us with a few things. Hotel is in a great central location and the rooms are a decent size with a nice big comfortable bed. We will stay again.
What a fantastic welcome from Lara! From the moment we walked through the door she made us feel so welcome, extremely polite and friendly. We stayed here for our anniversary and she made us feel great. We travel around a lot and stay in a lot of hotels but this is by far the best welcome we have had. Personally I will be returning and recommending this hotel to others. Thank you Lara, two very happy...
Great hotel. I work in Cardiff quite a lot (away from home) and I always try and book this hotel. Its clean, (smells great as soon as you walk in!!!) staff are absolutely spot on and the location is absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, whether it is for business or pleasure
Surprisingly good hotel. Wasn't expecting much but a lovely old property done up nicely. Friendly reception and a nice too. With a comfy bed and a good breakfast. Very happy to recommend
Lovely staff really helpful and friendly. Upgraded our room for us and had someone put a sofa bed in there for our daughters. Great food, easy parking. Definitely stay again

Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfy and spacious.
Could not recommend enough!! I travelled with two young children and was instantly welcomed and cared for by all the hotel staff. We felt so relaxed and comfortable through out our stay! I highly recommend!
Stayed here when we went to watch Oasis. Lovely hotel, good breakfast and location. Let us check in early 😊
Staff were amazing!! Can’t thank them enough for guiding us along this trip. Sadly the room was not up to standard, Really disappointed with the bathroom, silverfish in the sink and bath, shower was unusable due to clogged trains, beds were clean. Room included iron and board alongside other little amenities. General hygiene of the hotel was great, downstairs was beautiful, although we didn’t...
The hotel is amazing. Very clean, modernized and has a old world charm. The staff we met were outstanding.
Clean room with good space and good bathroom. Bed is comfortable. Standard English breakfast.

Close to Cardiff. The staff is helpful and friendly. They helped us with the cabs when needed. Food is good and pocket friendly.
Convenient location A little tiered
Good location not far from centre of Cardiff. Service was poor, receptionists seemed like they didn’t want to be working there and breakfast staff like their family had just died. That said the breakfast was good quality and the room was good. Needed some cobwebs removed and mould cleaned from bathroom
The room decoration is relatively simple.
The hotel was nice, lovely design, rooms were very comfortable, staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were mostly clean and tidy.
I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from...

I am happy to stay in Hilton Cardiff, it is located in the city centre and the 4th floor I stayed seems to be refurbished recently.  Would love to return in my next visit to Cardiff
Overall, the experience was good. However, I found the family rooms very small and not much space to move. The bathroom was beautiful however, I would expected things like shower cos, seeing kit, etc but there was nothing. Facilities at hotel were good, however there was no parking and the nearby parking was very expensive. With regards to comfort, the beds were comfortable but the pillows were very...
I had a great stay at the Hilton Cardiff. The hotel was very nice, modern, well-kept, and in a great location. The front desk staff were excellent: welcoming, professional, and quick to assist with anything I needed. My room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Cleanliness was clearly a priority throughout the hotel. Overall, a reliable and pleasant...
A decent hotel. The room and bathroom was large, clean, and the bed was comfy. My gripes: - No complimentary water bottle at check-in - No toiletries package - A broken hairdryer, and even if it was working, there was no plug for it in the bathroom. - Bedroom layout meant it was hard to see the TV from the bed. - For a supposedly luxury hotel, the swimming pool was below standard. For the price...
Wonderful hotel and all the staff were amazing . Pool was good too and the man taking the aqua class
Located in the heart of Cardiff, near Cardiff Bay; amazing experience.

Breakfast was very good and a lot of choice . Very comfortable stay Kids really enjoyed the stay
Decent stay in good accommodation with friendly staff. Closest IHG hotel I could find to the airport on this occasion and worked out fairly well. Reasonable evening meal before getting my head down and a fairly simple drive to the airport following morning. Friendly guy on the bar making me feel welcome. Didn’t get chance to use facilities, but all good apart from that. Would stay again.
Holiday Inn Cardiff North was absolutely fantastic. Above and beyond! My new husband and I stayed here after we got married and our other hotel cancelled on us with no notice(!). The Holiday Inn staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was spotless and very spacious and we couldn't hear the M4 when the windows were closed. We stayed during a heatwave but it was not a problem because our room...
If it wasn’t for the speed of service in the bar/restaurant then the rating would have been a five. Ideal for business, close to the M4. Good desk space in the bedroom. Staff very friendly. Food just takes ages, even for simple stuff like Pizza - spoils the experience as a solo business traveler.
Overall, this place is fine, but it's disappointing considering it's a Holiday Inn. The decor is very tired and in need of a refresh. There's no lunch available, and the quality of the food is pretty average. However, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds were nice and comfy.
Stayed a couple of nights visiting friends. Although the hotel looked a bit in need of refreshing the staff were very helpful & friendly. A special mention & thanks to Chris the night manager who got us back to the hotel when the taxi company were giving us a problem. Once Chris got involved they picked us up within 20mins, we had been trying for over 2 hours.

Great hotel and close to many touristic points. Clean, organized, great bed and shower. I would stay there again in another trip to Cardiff. They had a problem with the elevator when I went there, but I think it's solved.
Checked in straight away with a choice of room, which was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was cheap enough and the selection was reasonable.
This hotel is central and great for anything in the city centre. It is just round the corner from the station where a shuttle train runs down the the bay. Our room was really quite despite the road outside. We will definitely be back.
Central hotel near to Queen St Station and shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean staff were polite and helpful. Would book again!

Great building with tremendous history. Can't fault our room, lovely meal in restaurant. Very able and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and come back again. Would love to see the whole building converted to the hotel. Keep up the good work folks ?
Lovely warm welcome. Friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and a excellent well managed restaurant. Super food with great service. Ideal location for exploring the Bay area. All round perfect.
Great staff with great service. The hotel is still having work done bit overall, well done. Rooms can be noisy if a function is on. In saying that what hotel would not be. In general a great place to stay with good room, great food and greater staff.
Some good and some not so good comments. Building work still in progress so early morning alarm was the builders talking outside, only a portable ramp for wheelchair user, room doors open/close the wrong way for wheelchairs, bathroom cold. On the positive side, close to the bay, staff were very helpful, food in the restaurant was fantastic. Maybe in the future they can look at making it easier for...
We stayed at the exchange for 2 nights as we had a few events to attend in cardiff. Me and my wife where both blown away by this venue. It's such a pretty place. It's hidden out of the way a short walk from Cardiff bay. Parking is a little annoying as there is only pay and display car park close by. We ended up leaving our car overnight in capitol for 18.00 on the second night. That did not seem worthy...

Very good location and it was very clean! I will recommend it to friends and family.
Had a good night stay in hotel with all friendly staff.
The room is dirty and the bathroom shower is so small that you can't even turn around. How was this designed?

Spacious room. Lovely location. Very good breakfast.
A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff. Close to Castles Coch and Caerphilly. With a great restaurant on-site.
Lovely place, nice staff, rooms were really nice and breakfast was great. However, the function room/marquee was bitterly cold all night. Most guests were wearing the coats or jackets all night x
We performed at this hotel for an MOD Christmas Party and we have to thank all the staff who were very friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this venue for any event or function. Many thanks.
A superb venue for our gathering. The views over Cardiff were exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet for our event was amazing. The rooms were spotless and well presented. Very impressed
This hotel really has a nice feel. Old and new features throughout. They've just had a wedding fair there. The staff are friendly and professional. The resident Dj is amazing. He touches the right note

I had an enjoyable stay at the Staybridge suites in Cardiff. I had a good size room with amenities such as all kitchen needs etc. Good lighting in the room and bathroom, shower had two head options, and the bed was very comfortable. Fantastic staff, very accommodating.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Quiet as it’s away from the centre thankfully 🙂
The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, about 15 min walk . The facilities in the hotel are good. I like the kitchen in the room and I can make my meals during the holidays. It's really amazing. The staff members are really friendly and responsive. The breakfast was really good too. Highly recommended to people who are going to Cardiff.

Cardiff, 1-3 Fitzalan Place (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything was great. The location is very close to the town centre, and the room was clean with a lovely view, a bit small, but perfectly fine. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which is ideal if you want to explore a bit more after checking out.
it is not enough room facilities , such as, no water, no table, no chair that should be basic requirements needed
Very nice and cosy place to stay. I highly recommend you to book this hotel. Close to every tourist places
This place is centrally located, is clean, and the bathroom has ample hot water and water pressure. However, the room was the size of a matchbox, it was overpriced, and the bed was the cheapest bed I’ve slept on ever at a chain hotel. The bed curls up on either side of you when you sit on it and you sink to the frame. Sleeping on it is like sleeping on a shallow water bed with springs.
Room rate of this hotel is pretty high given the small size of the room. It looks very much like a dormitory room. The good thing is, it’s in a rather convenient location and it has air conditioning. The staff are helpful and friendly!
This hotel is at the side of the city centre. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the nearest big shopping centre. A Chinese supermarket and a Chinese restaurant nearby (5 minute walking distance). Not very clean but acceptable.

Comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Dove toiletries were great quality.
Room very clean Spacious Have lift service but under mantainance during stay
Room was not ready for check in at3pm so I had to wait for the room to be ready. Breakfast was included and good
Booked for myself to visit Cardiff. Have been to the baby area before but not to the hotel. Good location. Room didi the job for what I needed. Spacious and clean. Would recommend.
The hotel is very cleaned. Stop it more welcome to play it new the room is clean comfortable bed your sleep and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed it.
Breakfast wasn’t very good and could have used more variety. The washroom had a slow water flow issue, but overall the room was decent for the price. If you’re traveling in summer, make sure to ask for a fan, the room can get hot very quickly, and opening a window isn’t an option.
