Reviews
Breakfast is functional rather than comprehensive. Expect a light continental setup—cereals, yogurt, fruit (typically apples and bananas), and occasional boiled eggs. It is sufficient for young children and for getting out the door quickly, but not a destination breakfast.
The fitness room is minimal, with two treadmills and little else. Realistically, this is irrelevant given the daily walking demands of Disneyland itself.
Where the hotel succeeds is value alignment. You are paying for location efficiency, clean accommodations, and convenience—not amenities. For families prioritizing park access over on-site luxuries, the cost-to-utility ratio is favorable.
Bottom line: Not a resort experience, but an efficient, value-conscious base for Disneyland visitors where proximity matters more than polish.
Thursday (Arrival Day)
After arriving from Australia on a freezing cold, wet day in Los Angeles, we were allocated our King Suite room 500 with a king bed and seperate lounge room Upon entering the room, there was a loud, constant squealing sound. In addition, the shower only produced cold water, which was extremely disappointing after a long international flight from Australia where we arrived in freezing cold rain.
At approximately 9.00pm, we were moved to a much smaller room (room 513) with two beds, which was not the suite we had paid for. We had already unpacked and were offered no assistance to move our belongings. The key card did not work upon arrival at the new room.
That evening, there were girls playing loudly in the hallway until approximately 11.00pm. The walls are very thin, and the noise was significant.
Friday
At breakfast, the bananas were badly bruised and the eggs had blackened yolks, appearing rotten and inedible. The bananas were in the same condition every day.
There were no toiletries left in our room. When we requested some, we were advised they would not be available until the following day.
When we returned at approximately 11.00pm, there was an extremely strong smell of marijuana in the hallway, which permeated our room. The smell was so overpowering that it made me physically unwell.
Saturday
Again, there were no toiletries left in the room.
The key card repeatedly failed throughout the day and again at 10.30pm that night. We did not store the key near phones or magnets, so this was not caused by misuse.
The bed was made, but poorly presented.
The strong smell of marijuana in the hallway and around our room continued. It was extremely strong in our room.
Sunday
The key card did not work in either the lift or our room.
There was a particularly strong smell of marijuana in the hallway around rooms 510 and 512.
Monday
The bed presentation was extremely poor.
Once again, no toiletries were left in the room.
Tuesday
There were no quarters available to use the washer and dryer facilities. We asked the front desk to change notes and were told no quarters were available.
The internet service throughout our stay was extremely slow and unreliable, making it difficult to even read emails.
While the staff were consistently polite, they were unable to resolve concerns or provide clear answers. We updated front desk staff daily regarding the issues outlined above. Despite this, no one from the management team contacted us during our stay.
We have photographs documenting several of these concerns.
We were told to speak to management on Monday or Tuesday, We had a full day booked at Disney on Monday so left at 7.30am and returned back to hotel after 10pm.
I came down to front desk at 9.30am to discuss with manager as requested, but advised she won’t be in til later in the day possibly after checkout time.
Breakfast was lacking and updates need to be made but overall great place!
This property has some of the rudest staff I have ever seen. When I checked in I had reserved a king suite, the kid vehind the desk face me the dumpiest room available and made sure to knock that I reserved through a third party and not directly with them. Then I asked why they chage a parking fee when they kniw guests will be bringing vehicles. He said straight up to make more money! Then I had to call daily for room service and when they came they would only keave one wash cloth and took a pillow away from the room. Had to constanly go to the deak 3ach day and ask for wash clothes and pillows. When I asjed about extending my stay I was told that I would have to check out and then check back into another king suite, mind you I was already in a king suite, because the room I was in had been booked. Made zero sense and the front desk lady ended up hanging up on me. This is the last time I will ever stay at this property.

Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
Wonderfully crisp flounder and garlicky orzo for me, salmon and rigatoni in pesto for her and bread pudding for dessert.
Both entrees were absolutely what you’d expect from M & S, delicious, perfectly prepared and presented.
The bread pudding dessert probably isn’t what they’re noted for, and I’m afraid deservedly so. Taste was good, healthy slice, but it was all bread, soaked in an egg batter. Bread pudding when well-prepared has a layer of custard below the bread, which floats on top. Regrettably, no layer of custard, which makes it a different dessert entirely.
But all else was wonderful (Vets: remember when you’re comped to a meal, tip for the whole meal as if you were charged—that is, for a meal that would have cost $40, tip for the $40 value, not just the part you paid for. The waiter has to do the same amount of work). Very grateful to M&S for their kind recognition of our service.
We will definitely repeat.
