Love the Z-Hotel! This is my go-to place when I travel to Oakland. It is a very clean, pleasant and relaxing facility located at the edge of beautiful Jack London Square and within walking distance to great entertainment and eateries, including world-renowned Yoshi’s. I highly recommend this hotel—definitely two thumbs up!!!

Hidden gem. Most would never know this hotel was there and honestly it's probably better that way. Once you step thru the doors the fact that your downtown disappears which is nice. It's its own little world. Beautiful courtyard with pool,soda machines, gym. The only downfalls. Room was a little small and secure parking is $30! That's way steep in my opinion. Overall is was a nice stay.

The lobby is tidy, the surveillance system is decent as well. The room was also spacious and very tidy. We really enjoyed our stay here. All was good enough to make you feel like you're at home and support you with everything. We're going to be here again. I would definitely recommend this cozy spot to all of my colleagues.

Clean room convenient location relatively inexpensive

Very comfortable been here 7 or 8 times and have had a good stay. This time I was charged $25/day for parking which seemed like a lot. The place looks newly refurbished and nice. The pool area is great. Rooms aren't really soundproof so if you have noisy neighbors it could be a problem. Very convenient to the harbor and the BART station and Chinatown.

Place was very clean. Our room previously had mold or something because I had intense allergies during the night. Which only happens if there are mold spores around. Was good for the most part. Katie was really great, but the other lady we encountered did not have any type of friendly mannerisms being in charge of the front desk. Quality inn provided a great place to stay at a reasonable price close to the sporting events in Oakland. Nothing fancy at all but a quiet place to lay your head before going out to enjoy sporting events

Because of its convenient location, we checked in at this motel for the second time. Rooms are just ok to have a bed to sleep on. On our first experience, the Breakfast server was rude based on her attitude when asked if she'll refill more food. After camping in the woods for two weeks, Temescal felt like a dream. The hotel is clean, painted with fun colors, and the accessories are up to date and modern. Our truck felt safe with the gates surrounding the property. The man at the front desk was kind and efficient. Overall, GREAT value for your money.👍🏼

So this is a bit of a mixed bag, but with more positives than negatives. It is in a building that was recently renovated. It used to be a pretty run down motel (that's what locals tell me) but they put a lot of money and time into revitalizing it. The room was pretty nice overall. Always a pleasure to stay at this location! The staff is exceptional. The rooms are very clean, and modern. We appreciate the hard wood floors and chic furnishings. There are many convenient touches such as a keurig and coffee pods. My wife and i always appreciate staying here, and look forward to it! We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Stay here and you will have a lovely time.

I was worried because of the reviews but luckily Nick was there the entire time and made us feel welcome. The price is good for the location. Just 2 1/2 blocks from the BART. Nick even allowed us to leave our bags at the office after we checked out so we could take one more day trip into San Francisco before our evening flight. I did have some complaints though. Friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out. Nice, clean, modern, well furnished rooms. My only complaint is the bottom of the bed frame was made of thin metal which made a noise when getting in/out of bed. Easy to get to MacArthur station which can take you to San Francisco city.

The motel experience was really nice, it was truly a 24 hour check in as I arrived around 12.15 am and there was someone at the reception to check me in. The room was clean and large , there was also a fridge inside. The microwave was not in the room but immediately I requested for it , a microwave was brought to my room in less than 10 minutes . The room was spacious and clean, and the lodging was a short walk from MacArthur BART station. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Overall, a good stay - clean and comfortable rooms in a quiet setting.

The room was cozy and nice. The furniture was oddly placed and there was a stain on the comforter. The lady is friendly in the front. Lots of places to sit. The TV wasn't working. This was a great stay for a budget inn.

The experience was what it cost. The bathrooms were tiny and had no ventilation, but for I paid for it it was to be expected. The only thing is they got my reservation wrong and argued that they were right even when I had my receipt to back me up, but it worked out in my favor sp it was whatever. The location is fine, the place was pretty quiet other than the loud AC noise. Bed and pillows were fine, I slept alright, but I would definitely not stay here again.

Staff is so nice and polite!! From the front desk to the house keeping. We saw both day and late night shifts at the front desk and they were great!! Location isn't the best but definitely not the worst but someone did steal garbage out of our truck bed. I thought ok less we had to take the dump in the morning 🤷‍♀️. Good location. Great because of shuttle to and from airport and BART stop. Excellent option if you need to get into the City (SF). Nearby BART stop and shuttle make city ac accessible.

Stayed here one night to catch an early flight. Impressively clean. Friendly desk clerk (he was either the manager or franchise owner). Would suggest for anyone wanting to catch an early flight out of Oakland.

We were looking for something reasonable for a weekend stay and came acrooss this motel on Booking. Area may be in the hood but very clean room and quiet for the price. Close to everything. Highway 580 nearby as well. Lots of on-site parking. Snack, drinks and ice machine available. Direct TV and wifi included. Fridge and mini Keurig coffee maker in room. Only negative, no microwave was available...
