Sonesta Emeryville - San Francisco Bay Bridge in Oakland

I recently stayed at Sonesta and had a mixed experience overall.

The location was excellent and very convenient, which made my stay easy and enjoyable. The front desk service also stood out — when I came down to request cleaning wipes, they were provided without hesitation, and when I shared feedback about the room at checkout, the staff responded kindly and even offered breakfast, which I appreciated.

As a cleaning business owner, I naturally pay close attention to detail when it comes to overall cleanliness and presentation. There were several areas in the room that could benefit from a more thorough and consistent level of cleaning, particularly in high-touch and detail-focused spaces.
I also noticed similar opportunities in some of the shared areas, such as the carpets in the hallways, the elevator, and the condition of the keypad surfaces, which showed visible wear and buildup. These details, while small individually, can impact the overall feel of the property when combined.

I share this feedback with respect, as I understand how demanding hotel operations can be. With the right support or additional resources, I believe the overall guest experience here could be elevated even further.
