Staff was amazing! Super helpful and went out of their way to make our stay perfect.
Ideal location, easy walk to Colorado blvd and downtown Pasadena. Room was clean and everything you need.

Great place. Clean. Quiet. Lots of eating options in the area. It was also walking distance from my destination.

Staff was super nice and informative when i asked about the loyalty program he explained it in detail overall 10/10

Room had dirty curtains, but overall was clean and spaceous.

Parking was great!

Staff was nice and easy to talk to.

Breakfast ended earlier than I personally would have liked, but I'm not normally awake before 9am.

Felt safe, had nearby food locations for restaurants and grocery locations.

Overall a good place to stay- would go here again!

Location was near civic center..
Staff was very friendly.. if i had any kind of issue,, it would be that there is NO safty bar to get in & out of tub/shower.. 2 safty bars around toilet, but nothing where one is needed most, the wet bathtub!!

I appreciated the updated furniture and bathroom counter/sink...the bed was very comfortable...I loved the Luxury-Vinyl floors (as opposed to gross carpet)...and the pool was awesome! Jennifer at the front desk was super when I arrived earlier than check in, and let me leave my suitcase and gave great directions to some close by coffee shops. Overall it was a great little stay. the window pull-down blind was tacky and old but otherwise everything was great! Oh, and breakfast was very nice as well! Loved the breakfast room!

It’s a very basic Inn, comfortable enough to spend a night or two, but nothing fancy. It should be cheaper for what you get.

The room was nice and the location was ok. There is breakfast, which is simple.
What I am more curious about is that for some reason there was a homeless person living in the same hotel with me at this price. She told me that she was kicked out by her son, that she was cheated by the government, that her son 💉 and other illegal things, and in the end she asked me for money. It's really funny and a little scary. I had a wonderful encounter while having breakfast 😂

I like the location of the Green Tree, which is near the Del Mar metro station in Pasadena, and convenient for getting to JPL or Caltech. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and they have a nice bowl of fresh fruit available at the check-in. However, I have two quibbles. First, I found the billing to be perplexing. Online travel agencies said I would be charged an extra $5 on site, but in fact I was charged an extra $12.20 (+ a $100 deposit which has not yet been credited back to me). Since I was traveling for work, I needed a $0 balance receipt to document that charge, and the reception staff were unable to provide an appropriate receipt. Second, the room was cold, with air-conditioning set to 64 F when I arrived. I turned off the air conditioning, but I was cold in bed and unable to find a blanket or extra layer. If I stay again, I guess I'll bring my own blankets and will try to book differently (perhaps directly through the hotel) in hopes of getting a receipt that my travel reimbursement folks can process.
