Developer Inn & Suites Airport JAX, a Baymont by Wyndham in Jacksonville

It was terrible experience. The worse overnight stay experience in all my life. We saw several cockroaches, the bathroom was very dirty, everything broken, towels dirty. We just closed the bathroom door and never opened again. Bathroom and shower was not useable. The beds, sheets, towels very dirty and not cleaned. There was very nasty smell from the room and this room was "non-smoking" room per their definition. We just had to spend the night until early morning to leave to airport. The room was worse than even third world countries motels. It was shameful for me as Gold member Wyndham member to be in this kind of place. My wife and I didn't sleep all night due to the dirtiness, lot of noise, not being able to use restroom, etc. This was worse experience of my whole life overnight stay experience.

Horrible experience. Travelodge inn & Suites was gone and replaced by another name. I tried to confirm Friday morning at the airport with the hotel and trip.com. The hotel phone number was wrong. I called trip.com and they said they contacted the owner and hotel is still operational. However they didn’t tell us they changed the name. We emailed back and forth with trip.com and we finally got the hotel phone number. They supposed to provide airport pickup. They told us the airport pickup ended at 11pm. Our flight didn’t arrive till midnight.

The room is dirty and blanket was dirty. The bed wasn’t made right. We got there on uber and got our room around 1am. We were too tired to request another room.

This hotel was terrible. Where should I start. Everything was horrendous about this place. There were no towels in the rooms, some of lamps had missing light bulbs, mold on the ceiling, bugs, cracked molding, and the list goes on. I requested towels twice and never received any assistance for this or the missing light bulbs as informed someone would come. Customer service terrible, no hospitality whatsoever. The location was good only because it was near the airport for my early flight. Other than that very shady area/activity taking place. People in and out of the hotel. Screaming and cursing all hours of the night and couldn't get any good sleep. The phone doesn't work at the hotel, both numbers that I received which was from the 3rd party I booked. I tried to cancel/check out earlier after booking another hotel but couldn't get in touch with anyone as the phone rings out. I finally went back to the place to request a refund. There was a new employee there who was much nicer and I was informed that a manager would get back to me the next day. I'm still waiting. Wishful thinking. Don't waste your time booking at this hotel. You will regret it!!!!

This motel is very old and run down. Not a very pleasant feeling at all. The guest service team is adequate at most.

The rooms are awful and the beds are even worse. They crack and make all kinds of noises keeping others up in the room.

No towels in our first room. Tried to call down to guess services and the phone was broken. Got to the new room and at least we had 1 towels this time...

The front desk told us that it was a security risk for them to leave the building and that we'd have to come get more towels ourselves if we wanted some.

Bottom line is, If you're looking for a section 8 motel and you're okay with below average then this is the place for you.

I will not be staying here again. I urge you not as well. I'd take my business to another hotel/motel somewhere else.

We were there for 9 nights. We were put in a corner, downstairs unit that was dark and small. The staff is nice, the breakfast good but they do not allow you to take the food to your room. Everyone was very helpful, but I became very sick and we moved to another hotel. I have to have lots of sunlight, and that room was not good for me. The owner was very helpful, and U could have asked f ok r another room, but not feeling well and having already moved 2 carloads of stuff into the room, that idea was too much.

This place is disgusting. It takes a lot for me to say that since I was in the army for 8 years where I slept in sand and dirt. The area is terrible, while I was there the neighboring hotel was robbed at gun point. The room I stayed in had the door kicked in before, you can tell since there is a huge gap between the door and the door frame which doesn’t allow the door to seal properly. The AC barely works which results in the room developing moisture and a mold like smell. This also lead me to be heavily congested making it almost impossible to breathe. To top it off when I woke up the following day I had insect bites. So yeah, the travel lodge is a great place if you don’t care about comfort, sanitation or safety. Oh, and the room did not have any towels, called the front desk and had to wait almost two hours for towels.

Room was livable. Floors needed swept. Bedding was stained. Could see daylight all around the door. Door was hard to open.

Staff members were polite and helpful.
I will look for a different place next time.
