Hotels in Jacksonville

Loud noises in the lobby, cleaning staff, loud noises in the hallway and loud snoring from next door! I couldn’t believe how loud the snoring was!

We have used this hotel before and find it convenient for getting in and out of Jacksonville and to the shops.

We stayed for one night on the way from Naples to Charlotte. Clean spacious room with the couch, microwave, fridge, safe. Nice beds. Value for money!

Stayed there for an interview. The room was clean, well maintained and the area around was quiet. Would definitely recommend and go back to again.

Had to go from the pool to the front desk to get towels for the pool no notes no signs no outdoor towels. Vending machine did not work. No other food options at all. Wanted a simple candy bar before bed. Coffee station showed in the pictures creamers out. none available powdered.. Not a convenient location just hop in the car after a long drive to go back to the store.

The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was clean. Over all enjoyed my stay. Most definitely would book this hotel again.

Shuttle did not show up has ti get to hotel from a neighboring hotel shuttle. Hotel must be updated with paint ing and complete renovations. Cocktoaches csme up through the drainsge systems of bathroom.

great place for a cruise hotel. They will tell you how to set up a shuttle and let you park there for 5.00 a day

Only thing I didn’t like was when I checked in and went to my room and looked around there was someone panties and clothes in the closet with the iron etc is at that was disgusting and shows that whoever is cleaning the rooms don’t look around throughly.

Staff is friendly, room was great. I would say, there should be a chair in the laundry room, but other than that...excellent as always

We spent the night here before flying out of the Jax airport the next morning. They offer parking for only $5 per night for those who are utilizing their airport shuttle service. The breakfast starts at 6, so we were able to eat before taking the shuttle.

The tub and shower need replacing. Could clean better. Bed was very comfy. The shuttle was prompt. Breakfast was okay. Need better eggs. Coffee was good.

Greeting Gentleman was very friendly and quickly had us with keys in hand. We arrived at 11:15pm from a long drive and our room was very clean and well stocked. Room temperature was cool for great sleep and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a usual Hampton Inn layout with waffle maker. There were To Go bags premade and available for travelers with no time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a retirement cake that needed to be refridgerated and the staff helped us with that. HOSPITALITY!!

My wife made use of the breakfast menu and was pleased with it and the service. There was ample handicap parking at the front of the hotel, which made it easy to access the hotel. The conditions on which I needed a place to stay or unfortunately unexpected but the great staff were able to get me situated with comfortable rooms and they made the experience a little bit better for what it was

The noises last night were ridiculous people slamming doors, cars racing outside, dogs barking. We get ready to leave this morning and there is a pile of dog poo in the hallway near the elevator. Breakfast was just the minimum. Building seriously needs insulation. I love Holidsy inns but this was not the best pick!

Clean rooms, Courteous Staff and Amenities were great!!!

Room was spacious and clean. Mainly small issues: 1) glass shower was leaking in multiple spots into the bathroom floor 2) toilet paper holder was broken 3) 2 of the pillows had sticky black markings on them.

Everything was good except the first room I had there was a loud dripping noise form the a/c unit kept me awake so I had to switch rooms the next day

The employees are wonderful! But the place is definitely in need of some upgrades. I'm in a non smoking room, but my blankets are full of burn holes. The bed feels like the mattress hasn't been changed since the day they opened. But it's not the worst place I've stayed by far. The breakfast was also quite good for as cheap as the place was.

Overall, you get what you pay for. I was able to make a last minute reservation after a cancelled flight and Travel Lodge sent a shuttle (van) to the airport. The location and shuttle were very convenient, however the Travel Lodge itself left a lot to be desired. Nice air conditioning, Hot water and it got hit quickly! Kitchen was clean but no utensils (we didn’t need or request any). Staff was very polite and friendly. Building is a bit older but kept up well. We stayed here a few months ago because we like the Deermeadows area.

Door was hard to open. Good thing my strong husband was with me otherwise I would have had to get a new room. I could not open the door without him. He has to throw his shoulder into it Everytime. Has to ask for toilet paper.

No towels, added fees if you use a third party (we used Orbitz so it was a $100 deposit) room had some damage but we reported it on our arrival. Staff was very kind and tried to clean some towels for us that took a few hours. The location, it’s close to the beach, shopping, food stores. The staff was friendly.

My stay here has been wonderful. I’m a little confused on some charges I have but overall the stay has been great I really don’t have any complaints. I think they could use some updates done in the rooms and around the building because it is a little outdated here but it’s still livable. The staff are the absolute best here!!! Jax overnight Good value for money, excellent staff, clean rooms. WiFi in and out a bit but generally ok.

The sofa bed provided was not usable. I informed the concierge and they knew about it. They didn't offer to replace it. The formica on the kitchen countertop was peeling off. This was informed as well. No indication that something could be done. We didn't try to use the kitchen at all. Refrigerator was working but exterior surface was rusted.

New management is MUCH BETTER than the old management, towanna has made the place SO MUCH BETTER just by her presence and her ability to treat us like actual people, instead of walking piggy banks. Rented a room with a pullout couch, previous management tried to con us into paying more, even after the bathroom stopped working, new management switched our rooms and is doing everything in their power...

The front desk staff was marvelous and the nights were wonderful.Looking forward to coming back . I enjoyed every moment of the stay. Can't wait to come back in town and reserve another room to relax with my family and friends so we can enjoy our time

My husband and I took a trip to Jacksonville and we checked in with Dani who was very friendly and even gave us recommendations of things to do in town! Our room was very clean and pleasant! Best sleep we’ve had on vacation in a while! I fully recommend staying here !!

Ok for on overnight stay you got what you paid for just basic for a no frills stay

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless. Appliances gently used, but EVERYTHING worked well. Very comfortable bed. Endless hot water. Loved the convenience of a kitchenette.

The best place you could choose for a stay.. Front desk customer service is awesome. The best place to stay rooms are cleaned to perfection.

Good place to stay near market area of St John town center. If you have a car, you can choose perimeter parkway branch of Extended stay otherwise Skinner lake is convenient.

Quite. Quaint. Clean. Stayed 3 nights with 4 kids. Internet NEEDS to be faster, but won't complain about it. I would stay again.

Great concept yet not the cleanest. I never received room service and was on a road trip for work. This would have been so helpful to have even if was only twice a week because I was on the go. Not sure if they all are like this. Hopefully not.

2nd room we were given was fine, other than Shower/Tub Tile & Grout need a serious scrub. :Breakfast" is a stretch - it is small cold muffins, small breakfast bars and instant oatmeal. No juicre, milk. Etc.

Unfortunately, could smell smoke in my room. Breakfast was a little less than expected. Muffins and coffee. Otherwise, good standard hotel.

Strange odor in room as soon as you walk in. I have smelled similar in other properties and it is not pleasant. Wish they would have had coffee available in lobby or room other than breakfast time.

It was great just didn't know that had a 100 dollar deposit fee. It would been great if it was listed because some people may not have the money for deposit fee. But other than that

Staff was great and really friendly so friendly that second shift walked in my room while I was sleeping. The next morning I was out front and another guest was taking on the phone telling someone that Staff walked in his around 2 am and the guest Almont shot them. Both incidents there was no knocking or announcement of is there anybody in here I'm coming in. They need to be not doing these things...
