Very nice staff. All were very helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful efficiency condo with lovely view and also easy access to beach. The only minor thing was that the outdoor pool and hot tub were under repair which was clearly stated prior to booking (Nov/Dec 24’). Excellent indoor pool and hot tub made up for it. Definitely would stay again!!!! Highly recommend!

Very courteous staff. Glad to see the refurbished premises but still have aged doors.;

The room was very clean. The housekeeper did a great job. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. I'm looking forward to going back in the future.

The room I was in you had to slam the front door hard to close. Then the sliding glass door did not work or lock. You had to place a piece of wood to secure. The staff was nice and attentive. But the overall condition is somewhere I would not recommend going too. Room had a humidifier that was not working thus the room had a musky smell when we arrived.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and curtious. Will definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Quick check in. Even though it is an older property, room was very nice and larger than most rooms, very clean. Great value for the cost.

The room was nice ans the staff was courteous! Only negative was there was problem with the Direct tv working in the room tv at times.

I would like to first mention that this hotel is located right on the beach. I mean, walk out the door and your can put your toes in the sand. As far as the room, well it was a bit of a hodge podge of things. I would say the best way to describe it is to think of your aunt and uncles basement family room type of furniture from the 1990's. Don’t let first impressions fool you. It’s much better than it looks. The check in area is somewhat dark and uninspiring. But the rooms facing the ocean are nice and the staff, particularly on the front desk, are really good and helpful.

We had a very restful week. Many restaurants in walking distance. Great location. Met many nice owners.

The staff was very friendly. The inn was very clean . I am an owner of a few weeks here. Our room for this week was for only 2 people but it was very nice and clean. They replaced your towels daily and took out your garbage. I would recommend staying here.

The location either way u went north or south u had something u wanted to see the people we were very friendly and very helpful

Was just right for us after staying at motel 6, with not even a fridge or microwave!!

I have stayed at many motels. This is by far the best one. Newly updated and clean. Plenty of room in mini fridge. A/C and heat both work. Shower is great! TV glitches from time to time but okay. Beds are comfy but heavier comforter or extra blanket would be nice. Room in the back corner is the best. Roshan is kind, and helpful with any issue. A smile goes a long way. Especially when running a business...

I stayed at the motel last summer into the the fall while I was waiting for a place to open up to move permanently in the area.I did not have one problem with anything.Private parking on the side with security cameras 24/7 clean rooms and beach ramp access almost directly across the street excellent friendly professional service.I highly recommend A1A Tavel Inn.

This is a great bargain directly across from the beach. It was very clean. The beds are very comfortable & it is a well lit area. The owner is extremely honest as we accidentally left valuable jewelry in the room when we checked out and hours later when we returned he had it all packed up and ready for us.

Very clean and spacious room, they look like they have been remodeled there so clean . Good price too, compared to other In the area.

Owner was very kind & helpful. The room was perfect for the circumstances we were in. The bed covers had stains. Loved the location. Parking was convenient too.

Driftwood Beach Motel

Front desk was very moody and had an attitude everytime communication happened. Not very eager to help guest. Ended up adding days and ended up staying three nights asked for towels and never got them so in 3 days no clean towels were giving other then what was there at very beginning. Stayed here a lot and this has been the only bad experience main issue was staff at desk

The front desk was moody and not very approachable. We added on two nights and both times it was completely uncomfortable dealing with front desk. We were there three nights and didn’t get clean towels throughout the stay. No housekeeping what so ever. The price was higher than usual and service was not good. Dryer was out of commission as well. Only hotel to charge for our service dog staying $28...

Just stayed for the night while traveling. Room was clean. Quite. Pleasant check-in. Area was nice. Felt safe.

Clean room, no elevator though. Had to climb to the 3rd floor but was probably good for me

1st room was NOT good. Bedding was old & stained with a few dead bugs inside the sheets and bedspread so we asked to be moved since our room was nonrefundable and we had paid for 4 nights. The nice gentleman who worked there not only moved us but upgraded us and in the 2nd room we found no bugs although the bedding still looked old with stains, luckily for us I had brought our own mattress cover, sheets...
