Parking $50.00 a day!!!! That is insane as the garage is right next door to the hotel and nobody ever told me about this fee till it was to late. Even in NYC it is not $50.00.

I had the incredible pleasure of meeting the hotel manager Maria Andersen who checked us in. She was the utmost professional. Her and her staff were excellent. From the housekeeper (Sandra), to our server in the rooftop restaurant (Christine), and our shuttle driver (Edgar), we were treated as if we were family. We loved the experience! Thanks again.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the amenities of downtown Sarasota. Just walking distance from Main St. dining and shopping, the Farmer's Market on Lemon St. Saturdays, and minutes away from St. Armand's Circle and the beaches. The restaurant service is quite slow considering that only two or three tables were occupied each time we visited. On one occasion, I ordered a filet mignon medium-well, but it was served well-done. UK to Longboat Key for a long weekend… Short 4 night break, in from UK. 2nd time at Longboat Key Resort and would come again for sure. Bldg3 5th floor room. Well equipped, nothing to complain about. Didn’t use the Spa or gym on this trip.

The room and view was gorgeous. The accommodations are fantastic. The hotel is 20 minutes from our favorite Italian restaurant, Marcello’s. ❤️

The staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately the two TVs in our suite had issues with properly accessing the signal, which was problematic at times. House engineer blamed cable company, but regardless FIX IT. The front desk felt our pain and did provide two comps for free drinks and appetizers for two days. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. The bartender poured well, the pool was clean and stocked with towels and they kept bringing out cookies.

Liked: Close to all venues. Only small negative:.Near major highway so a little noisy but not unbearable. But also being near the highway makes great access to everything.

Nice play for a quick overnight stay The service was great and the breakfast was a great deal. My only complaint is that the fridges are very small and do not have a mini-freezer, but overall, we really liked the room and will stay there again.

The Amish Hotel has a very warm and considerate front desk. The interior environment is elegant and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. The interior decoration is very distinctive and it's a great value for the price.

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the central air conditioning was very convenient and quiet – much better than most hotels in the US which have individual, noisy air conditioners. Breakfast included wolf cookies, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausages, and fruit, which was quite good. A very pleasant hotel experience.

I highly recommend this hotel! The check-in staff greeted me warmly. The room was large, new and very clean. The breakfast was quite rich and the waffles were delicious. It was also quite close to Siesta Beach.

The room is large, well-arranged, clean and the service is good. It seems to be related to the Amish, but I don't know if it is managed by the Amish. It is not far from the most beautiful beach. Recommended! !

The room was enough for two of us and the atmosphere was bright. People was sincere and they look like a christians group. we stayed one more night. We were very satisfied with the hotel. Thank you!

This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.

The room is spacious and not crowded. The bed is large and comfortable. The car can be parked at the door, which is very convenient. Others are lackluster. It's better to just sleep and get up and go on the road.

First let me say that my rating comes solely from the out dated room. My experience was great. The room was comfortable and the staff was courteous. You can see the outdated room in my photos. I did speak with management about the old room and I was informed that all the rooms are in the middle of being updated and turned into suites. The apartments are great. Perfect location if you want a quiet stay. None of the craziness of other similar beaches. Nice little breakfast snacks (fruit, little muffins, croissants, yogurt, etc), and the employees are nice and down to earth if you should need anything.

It was not really a breakfast..Very Limited to toast, bagel,some yogurt. MINI pancakes..not what we expected

The staff was helpful and friendly. I had three different rooms because the first two rooms. The TV did not work in so I had to be moved, but the staff promptly helped me with that in a nice friendly manner. It could’ve been better kept clean wise and I felt a little unsafe staying there myself with just me and my dog because of the people that were outside but other than that, it wasn’t a bad experience

It definitely was a good stay I really can’t complain the rooms are good size the bedding and towels were clean an fresh and I would have to say it was in a good location in the heart of the Ringling art school

Staying here during the hurricane.showed up early very early to get off the roads.they allowed us to check in . Power is out already but it's hurricane season in Florida. Thank you too days inn . Just stayed here overnight, but no major complaints. Couldn't beat the rate we got compared to other places nearby, the room and bedding were clean. Pillows need replaced. Location is great, quick drive to the beach and close to great food and fun downtown attractions. Perfect for what we needed along our road trip! Would stay here again if needed.

The breakfast was was basically continental, they had biscuits and gravy but ran out of gravy so I got none.

It’s an older property. No bottled water in the room. Shower floor was dirty. Cabinet under the refrigerator was damaged. AC smelled moldy but was cold. Outside area a little uncomfortable.

Handicapped room on the first floor was very tiny. The free breakfast had waffles and cereal and fruit and yogurt. They also had power bars, fruit, and juice and 24 hour coffee. We stayed for a friend's 50th birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside area and the close location to the beach. All in all a great place!

Pretty good location near the beach, although I wouldn't call it beachfront. Good little kitchen with full-size fridge, and shared grilling area. Friendly people. Restaurants nearby. My only complaint was the bed had a big depression in it and was uncomfortable for my back - needs a new mattress. I also wish the resort had a hot tub or a bathtub, but that's not a necessity.

Loved my stay here, it has been renovated and the room was perfect with a big shower, comfy bed and a nice kitchen. The beach is right next door and restaurants, market, shopping in walking distance. The trolley to downtown is across the street and free, just give the driver a tip :) The property has a great outdoor courtyard area for lounging. I enjoyed staying at this quaint 1950's style property...

Cute little villa in the middle of everything. Easy access to the beach with carts and bikes available. Everios within walking distance which made it easy to get around and not having to worry about driving and parking. The villas are cozy and had everything we needed including a cooler bag, ice and beach chairs and towels. I would recommend this place and will look to return again.

The property was fantastic for our needs, compact but everything we needed was there, very clean and a fantastic location to beach, bars and shops. Staff were brilliant and helpful, beach trolleys, chairs and cooler brilliant idea.

Kind knowledgeable staff. Perfect location. One minute walk to a beautiful beach. We had a wagon to put coolers chairs to go to the white sandy beach. Beautiful sunset saw manatee and dolphins right in front of us. Definitely be back.

One of the best Homewood Suites that we've experienced. Clean, well, appointed suites; engaging & friendly staff and a good mix of well-maintained facilities. Right in the heart of UTC, its close to endless shopping and ~15 minutes to SRQ.

Overall the stay was good. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the floors needed to be vacuumed. The biggest drawback was the humidity in the room. With the air on 67, the humidity was still so bad our clothes were damp!

Staff is excellent, my only issues are mostly same as every one else's musty smell in room, ac usually takes care of it, my bathtub was filthy and peeling, chairs dirty carpet filthy, beds comfy slept well and sheets were clean, bad tv reception.
