I spent two days in this hotel and that's already far too much. Apart from a new fridge, the room is not in good condition, you can hear the TV from the next room, and worst of all, the air conditioning makes a terrible noise. I asked the front desk to do something about the AC noise, but the hotel had no one available to look at the problem (at 4pm). In any case, the air conditioning is mounted on the exterior wall of the room, the wall is wooden, so everything vibrates - it's awful. On top of that, I was surprised to see my $150 deposit charged and it was only refunded after 8 days and after contacting the hotel several times.

This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.

The room is spacious and not crowded. The bed is large and comfortable. The car can be parked at the door, which is very convenient. Others are lackluster. It's better to just sleep and get up and go on the road.

First let me say that my rating comes solely from the out dated room. My experience was great. The room was comfortable and the staff was courteous. You can see the outdated room in my photos.

I did speak with management about the old room and I was informed that all the rooms are in the middle of being updated and turned into suites.

The complimentary breakfast was great and consisted of, eggo waffles, danishes, 2 types of toast, bagels, 2 different types of cereal, instant oatmeal and fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. They also served OJ, coffee and tea.

The pool looked inviting but I didn't have time to enjoy it. There was also a tiki bar that opens after 4pm.

This is not a resort but a motel
Don’t expect the quality of a 5 star hotel for $50-$60 dollars.
The pool is big and very nice, it was clean and well maintained during our visit
There is free and plenty of available parking
Internet is spotty and bad
The overall facility is getting old, the rooms and bathrooms are old but clean and functional
The double bed room is spacious
Staff is friendly and very attentive
Breakfast is basic, 7am-9:30am
Only two floors and no elevators to the second floor
Walmart, laundromat and other stores are within 5 min (driving)
The lobby area is clean and welcoming
This motel delivers a reasonable value for the money you pay

Terrible hotel. Lights broken, toilet would not flush, sink would not drain and the towels are so old they are literally yellow it’s so disgusting. I’m not from the area and didn’t know any better. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Just look at the pictures I’m including here. They speak for themselves. YUCK!

We liked it here because it was quiet and relatively peaceful. I saw no bugs, which means alot. The breakfast was well breakfast, nothing to ride home with. Meaning, it was standard bagels, coffee, toast, oatmeal etc. The pool was very inviting, although it could use some modernization. Still felt good, considering it was hot outside. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, I was very disappointed when our first room had no microwave and no small fridge. I honestly couldn't believe it. We stay at so many hotels, I thought it was just the norm to see the standard fridge and microwave. The second room had them. The neighborhood feels like you're on the wrong side of the tracks. Only about it 5 minute drive to downtown and about a 12 minute drive to Siesta Key beach. And the tiki bar on the premises was nice. I would stay again if the lady at the front desk who checked us out would smile alittle more. I noticed alot of haters in Sarasota, more than usual.
