Our stay at The Westin Sarasota was exceptional from start to finish. The location is perfect — close to downtown, the bay, and some of the best restaurants and cultural spots in Sarasota. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, with comfortable beds and beautiful views.
The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooftop pool and bar are definite highlights — a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sunset over the bay. The breakfast was delicious, with great variety and quality.
Overall, The Westin Sarasota delivers a wonderful balance of comfort, elegance, and hospitality. We would definitely love to come back!

Fantastic Stay!
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and every detail made the stay enjoyable. Parking $50.00 a day!!!! That is insane as the garage is right next door to the hotel and nobody ever told me about this fee till it was to late. Even in NYC it is not $50.00.

I had the incredible pleasure of meeting the hotel manager Maria Andersen who checked us in. She was the utmost professional. Her and her staff were excellent. From the housekeeper (Sandra), to our server in the rooftop restaurant (Christine), and our shuttle driver (Edgar), we were treated as if we were family. We loved the experience! Thanks again.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the amenities of downtown Sarasota. Just walking distance from Main St. dining and shopping, the Farmer's Market on Lemon St. Saturdays, and minutes away from St. Armand's Circle and the beaches. The Westin also has their own great amenities like the rooftop bar and swimming pool, with great views of the city and Sarasota Bay, as well as great food at the evoq restaurant. The rooms are clean, well kept and provide great views from the room. The only negatives is the loud machanical noise from the building all night long and the smelly tap water coming from the sink and shower. You'd think they would provide clean odor free water for such a luxury hotel.

The restaurant service is quite slow considering that only two or three tables were occupied each time we visited. On one occasion, I ordered a filet mignon medium-well, but it was served well-done.

On a positive note, breakfast was very good, although the avocado had some bad sections that should have been removed before serving.

There is also room for improvement in the common areas. Several ceiling lights in the walkway from the restaurant to the parking lot are out or missing, and broken lights are visible in the planters near the outdoor tables. In addition, some electrical outlets are exposed to water, which could pose a safety concern.

The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent! The only complaint is tge mandatory $50 a day to park the car , also the taxes were crazy.
But if that doesn't concern you I highly recommend.

A wonderful compact property right near the water. Close to downtown and Marina Jack's. Spa is great. Roof top pool is very nice, views are insane. Would recommend this property.

My family and I visited this property for my dads 50th birthday and had a great time. All of the drivers of the shuttles are fantastic and are very knowledgeable about the area. Marcia at the front desk is also very accommodating and brought up a surprise champagne bottle for my parents to their room.

Wow this place was amazing! From the moment you enter to the time you leave everything and everyone was phenomenal. Came with my hubby and daughter for my birthday and customer service was top tier, the front desk was very nice! The views were amazing and the gym was great for getting a quick workout in! Pool was fantastic as well as the rooms were clean. The house keeping keeps up with their service! Always had fresh towels. Definitely would come back!
