Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa Kauai by Outrigger in Kapaa

Resort doesn’t offer anything that can be close to 4 star. No host or resort employee knows premises after 7pm, it’s hard to connect with them on the provided number after hours. Overall pool is super kid friendly, always clean, very friendly security guards. Beachside restaurant Oasis is awesome, but strangely they work limited hours and closed in Sunday’s.

We had a great stay here with the family, including 2 small kids. Some of the advantages include:

- A well-stocked, two bedroom apartment
- steps away from a beautiful and quiet beach
- kid friendly pool and hot tub on the property
- across the street from a grocery store to stock up on most things

I paid 3k for 3 nights dec 26-29. It's pricey for last minute booking but it wasn't unworthy. The 2 br had excellent decor, high quality bed and bathrooms were clean and with all amenities. The pool was great fun for kids, parking not an issue and shopping complex right across with pretty central location. Does it worth 1k per night - highest premium - probably not in other places and due to supply issue Kauai is different, any decent place is expensive here and this place was pristine, I just wish Instead of Safeway view I had ocean view for this pricetag hence the 4* vs 5* rating. 5 star would have been if this had ocean view with this price range or location in princeville which has a gold course - for 1k a night.

First of all know this is not a hotel. So dont come thinking you will have the services offered at a traditional motel. This is basically a glorified air bnb. We had no issues. The place was clean felt secure the pool was warm and clean. They allowed us to have pool noodles so we were able to float and relax. Its right on the beach but its rocky so actually playing in the water here is limited. Our overall experience here was great.

Beautiful. Perfect location. Large, comfortable suite. Good food at the Oasis. Wonderful massage at the spa. Tons of fun in the pool - slides and lazy river. Relaxing. Loved eating on the patio and listening to the island. I'll stay here again.

Rooms well equipped and comfortable. EXCELLENT pool. Hot Tubs and slides to accommodate all ages and abilities. Lost of room to stretch out and find your spot. Beach access is rocky beyond the surf linf but perfect for enjoying the sand and waves.

Saw a monk seal 6 out of 8 days in the beach.

Losts to do in nearby area. Easy access to excellent restaurants and grocery.

Only concern is that exterior of facility seems to be aging with he sea and weather exposure. Would stay here again.

If you're staying in kapaa this is one of the best places to stay. You have it all! Pool, grills, beach. What more do you need? Spa by the sea is incredible as well. Get the volcanic treatment and all for Taylor. She is the best and you will leave feeling like a new person. Beware of oasis restaurant however, not very impressive. I recommend JO2 right down the street. Amazing cuisine, wine and cocktail menu.

Stayed for a week with the family. The condo and the facility are great. The pool, gym, restaurant, beach are all perfect for a family stay. Also the grocery store across the street, as well as little town a few blocks away were great. Close access to an awesome walking path. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend and would certainly back.

Great River Pool, with slides, and hot tubes. The condo is great, with its own kitchen. You can buy food from several food stores across the road. We also got flash floods several days, 1-3" of rain per hour, we stayed high and dry.
The ladies downstairs handled rental cars to helicopter rides. They also recommended a great beach to snorkel at; which my 4 son's had never did before. Not only did we see several species of fish, we swam with sea turtles. We tried to give them space as we didn't wish to disturb them. They were following us, amazing!!
