The Cliffs at Hotel in Princeville

I’ll start with the good. We loved the property, location, the accommodations, check in, bottle of wine and coffee provided.
Unfortunately we had 2 separate incidents that were subpar. First we had some questions that we asked the front desk where we wanted to know if it was possible to take a shower after the check out time (10 am) and the answer was no but you can pay for an additional 1/2 day (for a hefty fee-the room rate for the whole night wasn’t much more) and the front desk wasn’t very nice about it. Then on the day we checked out we had an excursion so we picked up the room and took our bags just in case we were running beyond the 10 am check out. We did not check out at the front desk prior to the excursion. When the excursion ended, we had time so headed back to get a quick shower at 9:10 am and found the cleaning people already in the room stripping the bed. We entered the open door and had to tell the cleaning people that we have this room until 10 and need to shower so they left. I’m so disappointed in the whole experience. Minus these 2 incidences this could have been a 5 star review.
