Exceptional kindness and courtesy, rooms are comfortable, laundry facilities a bonus, easy parking, great view, retro beach scene, shops close by, easy to find, excellent wifi, and the loveliest lady at reception even repaired my broken shoe. Thank you to everyone!

The front desk service was so-so. I requested twin beds in the booking notes, and booked through an agent on Ctrip, but they couldn't get one. They even said that terms like "king/twin" don't guarantee availability. Lesson learned, and I'll share this with others: if you definitely want twin beds, read the details carefully before booking. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the environment was lovely, right by the sea. It was very comfortable for one person. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport, and if there's no traffic, I would definitely choose this place again next time.

Lovely stay, looks way nicer than the photos. The room amenities are low but the resort is lovely, great vibes, friendly staff and good location to travel north and south.

There's a laundry room! Washing and drying costs $4 each, it smells amazing, I even washed all of Honolulu's dirty clothes! There's a Coconut Markerplace shopping area nearby, a five-minute walk, no need to cross the street. It has a medium-sized supermarket selling hot ready-made meals; the food is decent, no tipping is required, and they accept UnionPay, which is great. No deposit is required,...

The hotel is a beach hotel, but not the best for swimming - waves, wind, rocks. But if you have a car, it is convenient to get from the hotel to both the north and south of the island. There is a large selection of food/restaurants near the hotel.

Great facility, grounds were immaculate, pool clean and well maintained. Room was spotless and very well stocked with all the necessary dining essentials. Views from the room were phenomenal, was a pleasant stay and we look forward to our next stay here

Conveniently centrally located and near several nice restaurants. Very comfortable unit with view of the ocean, even though swimming near the condo was discouraged. We were disappointed by the lack of certain items (no Tupperware, alum foil, Saran Wrap, food storage bags, as well as a tiny sponge and about two teaspoons of dishwashing soap) that you would expect to find when you’re paying this price...

We did not use the pool and had no balcony and had to imagine the ocean view from our room. The sofas can definitely use a cleaning. We had to complain several times before the wireless was fixed. There was no room cleaning for our entire stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is located right on the water and beautiful grounds with pool.

Kaha Lani is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet condos within walking distance to Lydgate. The grounds are clean and we love that there is laundry facilities on the property.

Loved the view and how quiet during the day. No air conditioning but nice breeze. Early rooster wakeup call though!!

Beautiful. Perfect location. Large, comfortable suite. Good food at the Oasis. Wonderful massage at the spa. Tons of fun in the pool - slides and lazy river. Relaxing. Loved eating on the patio and listening to the island. I'll stay here again.

Rooms well equipped and comfortable. EXCELLENT pool. Hot Tubs and slides to accommodate all ages and abilities. Lost of room to stretch out and find your spot. If you're staying in kapaa this is one of the best places to stay. You have it all! Pool, grills, beach. What more do you need? Spa by the sea is incredible as well. Get the volcanic treatment and all for Taylor. She is the best and you will leave feeling like a new person. Beware of oasis restaurant however, not very impressive. I recommend JO2 right down the street. Amazing cuisine, wine and cocktail...

Stayed for a week with the family. The condo and the facility are great. The pool, gym, restaurant, beach are all perfect for a family stay. Also the grocery store across the street, as well as little town a few blocks away were great. Close access to an awesome walking path. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend and would certainly back.

Great River Pool, with slides, and hot tubes. The condo is great, with its own kitchen. You can buy food from several food stores across the road. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Islander. It has been quiet, peaceful, and friendly, and there are a lot of good places to eat within comfortable walking distance from the hotel. And the ocran view from our lanai is mesmerizing. Yeah, we'd stay here again!

Rooms could be updated. Ac didn’t work in the beach fronting room the first night. 2nd night we moved rooms but then was upstairs when we specifically wanted to walkout to the beach. So that was disappointing, but AC was more important. Location to beach was amazing!! Always had chairs to lounge in and the beach was amazing and relaxing.

Our room was absolutely perfect! Everything you needed in a mini kitchen, minus a stove! Our room had a queen and a pull out bed. They were very comfortable and the bedding was great. We got a beach view room on the ground level, it was wonderful! So nice to have such beautiful grounds and easy access to lounge on the beach. Fantastic friendly staff. Convenient access to airport and in the middle for sightseeing north shore one day and south shore another.

Very cozy stay, we made use of the kayaks, but it was too rainy to go to the beach, still, a great amenity to have beach chairs, much more economical than having to rent them.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fern Grotto Inn which is well located for excursions all over the island and surrounded by a beautiful garden with direct access to the Waimea river (Kanus available). The studio (Coco B) was tastefully and functionally furnished and well equipped and maintained. If I get another opportunity to travel to Kauai I would chose this accomodation again.

I didn't want to leave. Usually, even at the finest resorts, I am anxious to get back to my own home. But Fern Grotto felt like a wonderful new home. I loved waking to the roosters and new spider webs spun during the night and the ever emerging blossoms on this plant lover's mecca. Comfortable, secure and pleasant. Out the doorstep is a short walk to the beach to greet the sun rise. Bikes available for a wonderful bike lane along the ocean. Kayaks for paddling up the river to the Grotto. Nice mountain hikes nearby. Beachfront Mamahunes and Lava Lava bar/restaurants are nearby and just a 20 minute walk away.

The cottage we had for two weeks was very comfortable with a very functional and high quality kitchen, private yard, and had many other unexpected amenities. The location was convenient for exploring all parts of the island and had many nearby dining and shopping options. Spent 3 days here at $203/night. Was adequate for a 2 bedroom unit. Conveniently located across the street from Safeway and other shops. On major highway and the building is the closest to the road with lots of road noise that is constant including sirens and cars passing. Busy road so really need to be careful as you pull out. You get what you pay for at Kauai Kailani. The location is fantastic— beautiful sunrise views from the beach right on the property, plus shops and restaurants conveniently across the street. Awesome stay!! Loved the sound of waves crashing on the beach from the room. Ocean view was at a slight angle. Our next stay here will be in a unit at the middle of the U with a more direct ocean view. Check in was at a nearby hotel. Quiet resort with 2 nice pools on what feels like a private beach. Walking distance to everything we needed, including awesome restaurants and Safeway.

We've been coming & staying at the old Mokihana (now ISO) & Kauai Kailani 1 since the mid 70s. Location is wonderful. Very peaceful too if not for the new "attitude" of some guests. I'll likely be flamed for saying it; but I don't spend substantial funds to stay a couple of weeks in a lovely Kauai condo just to hear kids yelling & misbehaving & very young babies crying. I made a mistake renting Room 319. Third floor with no view other than the hotel next door. The room was laid out like others. The place has two buildings. We got stuck in the building next to the highway. Overcharged for the stay. The *********** photos included the ocean area pool. Misleading. The hidden fee is the $100 per day cleaning fee.
