The hotel needs to be updated as only one elevator was working, both the evening bar and breakfast in the morning were not available.

Made a reservation and paid with my card but I put the rooms with two different names and I could not check in the second room because it was not in my name r e though I paided for it . Found out there was no hot breakfast service at the hotel it would of been nice to know ahead of time

The hotel overall is pretty good. The lobby was nice. Had a bar and buffet breakfast. They do bill for breakfast. With all of my traveling lately, that's the first time I had to pay extra. While the room was nice, the TV was small. The bathroom was a major disappointment. This was a great deal! The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. It is an older place but it looks like they are in the process of updating it. Also, we had trouble finding it based on using the address. When we gps’d the hotel using the name, we found it.

The lobby of this hotel is absolutely beautiful and spacious, giving off cozy Spanish villa vibes complete with a fountain, arcade, restaurant, pool area and a lot of seating. The property was great and had lots of character. The indoor courtyard was awesome. The continental breakfast held in the courtyard was wonderful. The room was clean and the water pressure was perfect. 10 out of 10 would stay there again.

Tv remote didn’t work asked for maintenance to fix it for 2 days straight never did might as well book a cheap hotel to where you can atleast watch World Cup games on

Everything was great except for when we got there Friday the 10th in the afternoon the short Hispanic lady was on the her phone speaking to friend or boyfriend cause when we stood in front of her she ignored us until my wife got her attention and you can tell while getting our room card she had a bad attitude look on her face cause we disturbed her cell phone moment. Everything else was great 👍

Clean room, and spacious - new looking. Very good amount of parking. Pool was a bit hot in sun in late pm being outdoors. Check in very fast and friendly.

There was only one person on duty and she was extremely helpful. My door (deadbolt) would not work and she even came up to try to find me another room.The breakfast was very good. I didn’t like seeing the dogs there. I felt like it was a dog park and I am not a fan of dogs in the room for health reasons and cleanliness. That was the only downside for me.

Rooms not clean, Hallways not clean, hotel is run down… no microwave in room. Other than that it was alright for a night or two.

What a lovely hotel and pleasant surprise. Was just looking for somewhere to crash for the night. The room was very large. Had to make an extra trip to the lobby to get them to flip the breaker for the room but then everything worked fine. It was so quiet. The woman at the front desk was very nice.

Great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, had TV, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. The staff were excellent and it was very quiet. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in town.

The room was clean and comfortable. However I paid a 50 deposit and still have yet to get it back! I called and questioned why and was treated rudely. The room had zero damage

The new owners are wonderful. Friendly, conscientious, and working hard to ensure their place is a top notch hotel. I highly recommend it!

Phones were not connected. My TV didn’t work, but they came and switched it out when we arrived. The staff was very helpful.

Carpet, shower and sink were dirty, the room had some smell. The bed was comfortable. I would probably never stay in this hotel again.

This hotel is a favorite of me and my kids staycations. I enjoy the affordability and the kids enjoy the pool the most. They could have given us a cleaner room last stay. Parking was convenient, suite/room was spacious, front desk attendant was excellent! Each suite in the hotel had something different wrong with it that needed fixed so had to choose lesser of concerns.

I absolutely loved our room! It was spacious and very nice. We have a huge family so it really fit our needs so that everyone was confortable.

The staff at this hotel lead by Eman was exceptional. If you have any issue, she will make it right. The rooms were great and the breakfast is wonderful. One side of the hotel is near the highway, but the other side is quiet and I would recommend.

The room was clean but it smelled musty. The floors were sticky. Carpet and tile both. The closet smelled so musty that my clothes smelled like it. The carpet felt damp so I didn’t walk without shoes on after I first took my shoes off. The bed,pillows, blanket and towels were fine. Just the floor and closet

As we were sleeping pieces of the ceiling we falling on us. I told the gentleman at the front desk and he said oh ok thanks for letting me know.

other than the loud neighbors the first night and the bad storm the last night it was a pleasant stay

The room was ok except the carpet was disgustingly dirty. My feet stuck to it in places. Breakfast was ok. The hotel was very quiet.

Everything was wonderful. My only bad review is the lighting in the bathroom area. Terrible lighting for the mirror. I believe there are many older travelers who would appreciate more natural lighting.

Hotel was under renovation by entrance. Had no idea when I booked my reservation. The staff were excellent. The room was very nice. The only suggestion I have is there is no where to put your clothes during a shower. The love seat was a nice touch.

Breakfast was simply a bait and switch. If you prepaid, you only got three choices from the menu, none of which were attractive options. I paid $12 on my last day for a cappucino and banana. Although there were good looking muffins on the counter, those of us who had prepaid got two small, stale muffins that seemed to come from the dollar store. Not impressed and won't go back.

Room was clean. Staff was pleasant upon check in and checkout. Did not have breakfast on site. No pets. Wish we had know the hotel was under construction.

Ice maker was broken and concierge went above and beyond by going to get me ice on a different floor. Also I was experiencing a personal tragedy and the manager extended my check out time.

Very nice facility. Equipment was in good working order. My room was an adjoining room. The people next door were load most of the night.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a very convenient location.

I had a great stay. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows to choose from. The room was spacious for 1 person. Pretty dark at night. Everything worked just fine. Not far from lots of food choices. Easy to get to them and the motel.

outwardly clean in lobby, room was very bad. curtains falling down had to use safety pin that was in curtain to hold shut. bath tub look like something out of BATES MOTEL most outlets dont work and were coming out when removing plug if you could get it in. would never stay at a gain

well first off I walked in lobby to check in and guy at front counter was asleep on counter i had to say hello 2 times then hes like who r u second off hairs in bathtub and hair on stool. and 3rd check out was 11 and someone walked into my room at 915 no knock no nothing so im alittle upset I pay for privacy and from the start was a bad situation

The breakfast was great. The room needed vacuumed. The bathroom needed repair, the shower rod was about to come out of the wall. The air conditioner rattled like it was about to die. The staff was nice.

The staff were great. Unfortunately there was a used syringe in the parking lot and lots of trash on property. Rooms are old, would not to use the shower. Ultimately though I guess you get what you pay for.

Breakfast was only good thing about this place. TV was impossible to work. Beat up remote.

The stay was fine, rooms decent enough. There was no breakfast despite being advertised as included in the reservation. Tv didn’t work, and there was no ice machine. Could be improved with some basic things.

Shower didn't drain, television on turned on and off and the volume went up. No other buttons worked. Trash from the previous stay was left on the mini fridge. Staff was kind but won't be staying again

Room was ok, but towels were terrible, we ran out of toilet paper (we were there one night), no breakfast was served, and the ice machine didn’t work.

Staff was ok , but the swimming pool was not open,during my stay. So they sould not say they have pool if it is not working.

Property is in dire need of updating. Homeless people in and around a closed business next to property. Room was in poor condition. Not a good experience!

The place smelled horrible, no pillows on one of the beds, towels look disgusting and there was trash from previous guests

The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. My husband and I really liked the layout of our room. The breakfast was very good and offered a variety of options. I think we have found our first nights stay for our eastbound trip, on our way home from Denver.

Bathroom smelled very musty, shower curtain was torn, and just appeared old and needs a good rehab. Breakfast was great as were the staff.

The breakfast area was good…although we didn’t realize it was here until the 3rd day of our stay…it is on the second floor!

The room was clean and it is huge. My kids came for a visit and there was plenty of seating. The front seat was away for a short time and there was a sign apologizing for it.

Over all it was very clean along with a friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Another great stay at Holiday Inn Express

I have been staying here for years when visiting family. It’s clean, comfy, quiet and all staff has been very pleasant over the years. This will continue to be my first choice when visiting Topeka.

Excellent spot right off the interstate to spend the night after day of driving.

Room was clean, modern and spacious! Shopping and dining nearby! Sgort trip, but the family loved this hotel!

We've stayed here many times. It's definitely showing wear. Definitely could have done without all the mold in the bathroom Although I appreciate the "upgrade" we received. The horrendous noise every night from rooms above us was exhausting.

Simply could not have been better. Hot tub was not working but that happens and wasn’t an issue. Staff at check in was great, checkout was just as good and every single person between them was just great! Clean, quiet and wonderful stay! A solid 10!

This was an exceptional hotel , my only complaint are the pillows were not very comfortable for my liking but everything else was perfect !

Beds were comfortable, but it was noisy at 2:00 in the morning. That was the other customers' fault, not the hotel's.

Hooters and Burger King are within walking distance for food. Our room still had trash and an unswept floor. The king size bed was on a bed frame but also had 2x4’s holding it up. The toilet felt like it was falling out of the floor and the flush lever was bone and had to be messed with to flush. Could use a make over or upgrade for sure.

I'll never stay here again. We were put on the 3rd floor. There's no elevator!! I'm 69. I can't carry heavy luggage! We had no bath towels and there's only 1 garbage can in the room. It's a great place to stay if you have no problem with stairs. You go down 1 flight to the first floor. Loved the gravy at breakfast. Staff was great! I recommend if you want a minimal place to stay at a great price....

Good service, front desk workers were really nice. They served a good breakfast (and good coffee, which is the most important part)! They allow pets for a small fee, so if you have pets that's great, but it could be a problem if you don't like them. There's a fridge and a safe in the rooms. It's a good price for what you get! It's an older hotel, but the rooms are a lot nicer than the halls.

Excellent hotel of this class; kept extremely clean. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sandra. As for the hotel itself, from the kind, courteous, and friendly owners, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms with very well equipped breakfast room- our experience was nothing less than exceptional.
