The hotel needs to be updated as only one elevator was working, both the evening bar and breakfast in the morning were not available.

Made a reservation and paid with my card but I put the rooms with two different names and I could not check in the second room because it was not in my name r e though I paided for it . Found out there was no hot breakfast service at the hotel it would of been nice to know ahead of time

The hotel overall is pretty good. The lobby was nice. Had a bar and buffet breakfast. They do bill for breakfast. With all of my traveling lately, that's the first time I had to pay extra. While the room was nice, the TV was small. The bathroom was a major disappointment. The towel rack was falling off the wall, the tub looked like you didn't want to step inside and the vanity front was cracked. I...

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly, quickly coming to our room when we couldn’t figure out the heating. The price was amazing for our stay- definitely a great value!

Everything seemed ok in the room except the curtains were falling off the rod, looked horrendous. They hung over the heater, so I has to tuck them into the window frame just so the heat could flow. Great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, had TV, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. The staff were excellent and it was very quiet. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in town.

What a lovely hotel and pleasant surprise. Was just looking for somewhere to crash for the night. The room was very large. Had to make an extra trip to the lobby to get them to flip the breaker for the room but then everything worked fine. It was so quiet. The woman at the front desk was very nice.

I've been to various hotels in Topeka but this is one of my very favourites. Clean rooms, and yes it lives up to its name- sleep inn. You will have a great night's sleep here in those comfy rooms. After I booked, I read some reviews that had me a little scared. Here's the thing this is an older hotel. There are blemishes and stains here and there however, I witnessed them cleaning alot. There's usually three basic things that need to be on point with me, clean sheets clean bathroom comfy bed. Those were perfect. I never slept so great in my life. Lol. The breakfast looked amazing. Staff were great, very helpful. Parking is tight if you have a motorhome The beding is old, stained and they still use blankets The upstairs neighbours were really loud so don't book a downstairs room Breakfast was a bit sparse.

The room was clean and comfortable. However I paid a 50 deposit and still have yet to get it back! I called and questioned why and was treated rudely. The room had zero damage

The new owners are wonderful. Friendly, conscientious, and working hard to ensure their place is a top notch hotel. I highly recommend it!

Disappointed sink faucet was very weak water flow. No milk available for breakfast 4 days. Asked about more milk at front desk, desk clerk said they were waiting for a shipment. Walmart is near by, but still no milk avaliable for 4 days. Repainted area on walls did not match in room. Desk clerks were very courteous . We stayed at same Baymont last year, this year definitely less satisfied

Hotel was under renovation by entrance. Had no idea when I booked my reservation. The staff were excellent. The room was very nice. The only suggestion I have is there is no where to put your clothes during a shower. The love seat was a nice touch.

Breakfast was simply a bait and switch. If you prepaid, you only got three choices from the menu, none of which were attractive options. I paid $12 on my last day for a cappucino and banana. Although there were good looking muffins on the counter, those of us who had prepaid got two small, stale muffins that seemed to come from the dollar store. Not impressed and won't go back.

Room was clean. Staff was pleasant upon check in and checkout. Did not have breakfast on site. No pets. Wish we had know the hotel was under construction.

Ice maker was broken and concierge went above and beyond by going to get me ice on a different floor. Also I was experiencing a personal tragedy and the manager extended my check out time.

Very nice facility. Equipment was in good working order. My room was an adjoining room. The people next door were load most of the night.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a very convenient location.

Breakfast was hot and fresh and tasty, serving scrambled eggs, country patties and sausage links, alternating with Biscuits & gravy, in addition to a constant continental breakfast with hot waffles, coffee/hot beverages and juices. The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. My husband and I really liked the layout of our room. The breakfast was very good and offered a variety of options. I think we have found our first nights stay for our eastbound trip, on our way home from Denver.

Bathroom smelled very musty, shower curtain was torn, and just appeared old and needs a good rehab. Breakfast was great as were the staff.

The breakfast area was good…although we didn’t realize it was here until the 3rd day of our stay…it is on the second floor!

The room was clean and it is huge. My kids came for a visit and there was plenty of seating. The front seat was away for a short time and there was a sign apologizing for it.

Over all it was very clean along with a friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Another great stay at Holiday Inn Express

Great staff update needed on hotel itself Our first night was a total disaster my five year-old granddaughter and I had to switch rooms at 10 o’clock at night because of a situation. I have been staying here for years when visiting family. It’s clean, comfy, quiet and all staff has been very pleasant over the years. This will continue to be my first choice when visiting Topeka.

Excellent spot right off the interstate to spend the night after day of driving.

Room was clean, modern and spacious! Shopping and dining nearby! Sgort trip, but the family loved this hotel!

We've stayed here many times. It's definitely showing wear. Definitely could have done without all the mold in the bathroom Although I appreciate the "upgrade" we received. The horrendous noise every night from rooms above us was exhausting.

Simply could not have been better. Hot tub was not working but that happens and wasn’t an issue. Staff at check in was great, checkout was just as good and every single person between them was just great! Clean, quiet and wonderful stay! A solid 10!

This was an exceptional hotel , my only complaint are the pillows were not very comfortable for my liking but everything else was perfect !

Beds were comfortable, but it was noisy at 2:00 in the morning. That was the other customers' fault, not the hotel's.

Hooters and Burger King are within walking distance for food. Our room still had trash and an unswept floor. The king size bed was on a bed frame but also had 2x4’s holding it up. The toilet felt like it was falling out of the floor and the flush lever was bone and had to be messed with to flush. Could use a make over or upgrade for sure.

Dirty room, holes in carpet, boot stains on floor, holes in blankets, booked King room got Queen, needs updated, never staying here again

I'll never stay here again. We were put on the 3rd floor. There's no elevator!! I'm 69. I can't carry heavy luggage! We had no bath towels and there's only 1 garbage can in the room. It's a great place to stay if you have no problem with stairs. You go down 1 flight to the first floor. Loved the gravy at breakfast. Staff was great! I recommend if you want a minimal place to stay at a great price....

Good service, front desk workers were really nice. They served a good breakfast (and good coffee, which is the most important part)! They allow pets for a small fee, so if you have pets that's great, but it could be a problem if you don't like them. There's a fridge and a safe in the rooms. It's a good price for what you get! It's an older hotel, but the rooms are a lot nicer than the halls.

Excellent hotel of this class; kept extremely clean. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sandra. As for the hotel itself, from the kind, courteous, and friendly owners, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms with very well equipped breakfast room- our experience was nothing less than exceptional. Restaurants are within a short walking distance (just a few minutes). Would definitely recommend to everybody...
