The Delano is an elegant yet unpretentious hotel. Upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely scent - (vanilla and amber?) and our experience continued along a positive trajectory.
Our room was nicely appointed. The bed and pillows, comfortable. We enjoyed good sleep quality. Everything in the room worked as it should, water pressure was perfect and the room was spotless.
Some folks have complained about the cost of the minibar and bottled water = don’t use it.
We would definitely stay here again.
The waitstaff at the pool complex were great. The rest of the pool staff, particularly the management were brutal. The Delano pool was often closed. No one who works there could actually point you to the Delano pool. There is almost no shade.
I won't be going back, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't give it a try. Just realize that this is not a 5 star hotel.
Very fancy & well taken care of.
Gave all the amenities from Mandalay Bay as well, which was great.
Suites were huge! Bathtub was giant and was used many times during our stay. Would love to stay again.
Only downfall, is that it’s a walk to anywhere else on the strip or even to the monorail.
But, they do provide a tram that goes between Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay- this is a free service.
