A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Vegas – 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed at the Royal Resort in Las Vegas and honestly… what an absolute bargain! No, it doesn’t have a casino anymore — and that’s actually a huge plus. It was so refreshing to return to a calm, clean, and quiet hotel after the madness of the Strip, without having to walk through clouds of smoke and slot machine beeping just to get to our room.

The location is perfect — close enough to the Strip to walk or Uber quickly, but just far enough to be peaceful. And for the price? Unbeatable. An absolute steal for Vegas. We were so pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it that we actually extended our stay by another night. That should tell you everything.

The pool? Incredible. A true oasis — quiet, clean, and not overcrowded. We spent hours there just relaxing and recharging for the next round of Vegas adventures. It felt more like a boutique getaway than a budget hotel.

There’s no on-site restaurant, true, but here's the kicker: the hotel gave us vouchers to eat breakfast at Denny’s across the street — and let’s be honest, that was probably better than most hotel breakfasts anyway. Pancakes, coffee, and no fuss. We loved it.

If you're looking for a solid home base in the center of Vegas without the casino chaos, Royal Resort is the way to go. Great value, great pool, great sleep — we’ll absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The Royal Resort is an older Hotel off the strip. It is in remarkably good condition and the rooms are being remolded, an area at a time. At first glance the grounds and exterior look very well kept! The inside area is very beautiful. It has a restaurant inside. We did not eat there. Expect to drop a lot on a meal. Steaks were around $55.00 +. ($$$$) Look like in it's prime they had a full size bar and conference room. But for now it was being used as open storage. No breakfast is served. However, using your room key, you get a discount at the Denney's restaurant just down the street in walking distance. The pool was drained. The front desk was very friendly and professional. The room was nice, clean and large. All the front rooms facing the street have balconies. We booked the room on a competitor's site. We stayed one night on a Thursday for a very reasonable price. As all hotels in Vegas, the price for weekend stays is considerably higher. We found out from another guest staying in the hotel and by posters in the elevators, that the hotel had a complimentary magic show on most evenings. We felt the front desk could have promoted it more. As we were the only guests in the evening 8pm show. Keeping in mind it was a free show, it was cute and entertaining lasting about 30-45 minutes. We would recommend the Royal Resort for a quiet stay off the strip.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was top of the line with customer service and was extremely helpful and delightful the whole time. Although the room was a little small it was perfect for the 2 of us, the beds were extremely comfortable and big, lots of big comfy pillows on both beds and extra blankets, sheets, and towels, pool was nice and the hot tub felt wonderful, whole place was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this place for any visitors. He location is right off the strip and nearby great casinos and stores and restaurants.

Good Value for the cheap price we got. The only thing I wish they really had was more outlets by the bed. I would suggest bringing your own pillows if your picky about those. Its nice and convenient to the strip and to the convention center. Walgreens is right across the street in case you need anything. The shower has amazing water pressure. I liked that the pool was open till midnight. Staff was very nice and friendly when we requested extra towels and blankets.

Everything has been good, except that the pull out sofa had nearly no mattress on it, which is extremely uncomfortable. However the kind size bed was amazingly comfortable. And it wasn't the most thorough clean before we checked in, it wasn't messy but there was just an inattention to detail (used soap in shower, plastic glass under dresser). The staff has been lovely, polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, seconds away from the strip. Would definitely go back. Awesome Taco stand next to hotel.Clean and great location with an amazing value for the weekday pricing.Friendly staff, room was clean.

Good location, a little balcony, and pretty good price but that's about it. Drawers were broken in TV stand, no dresser, towels were dirty, rust in the sink, tiny TV, no blankets unless you ask for them, not enough outlets, lamps have a short (yes both), itty-bitty closet that doesn't close all the way, stained fabric chairs, and ALL the wood furniture is banged up. I've been here about an hour and already noticed all of this.

Rochelle made this stay worth it! She got us a good upgrade and it was a much better room. She was so friendly and helpful!

Stayed here last year for EDC because it’s quiet and just off the strip and our whole group is staying here again. Had a little bit of confusion with booking an extra room over the last couple days and a couple people at night gave me the run around, but I spoke with Rochelle this morning and she was incredibly helpful and very kind and now our whole crew is set up for a wonderful time next month! That’s the one and only place I would always stay at in Vegas. I usually go to attend the ASD show and they are literally 5 minuets walk from the Las Vegas convention center where the show is. What I like the most about this hotel is that it doesn’t have a casino inside so it doesn’t smell or sound like the other hotels that do. Also the rooms are so roomy and well decorated as an apartment style. So you feel more like at home rather than in a hotel. Customer service is nice too.

We usually stay here when we come to Vegas. The location on the strip is great, near most of the casinos we like (Paris, Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian). We usually walk out and get a ride back. It's like a big hotel, but without all the drama. It's still friendly without being fake. Prices are good, too.

Amazing place and such a hidden gem. Tucked away and with a very intimate setting, courteous staff, well poured drinks, beautiful vintage decorations, and AMAZING food. Would go here again in a heartbeat especially for the price.

Such a gem! We enjoyed a romantic and intimate dinner at The Barrymore this evening on Christmas Eve. I swear I almost cried at that first bite of filet mignon! The staff was so attentive and allowed my husband and I to share a peaceful evening while feeling tended to. I cannot recommend the experience enough. This was a quiet, dignified affair in the expanse of excess that is Las Vegas. We love both environments, but this was truly something special!

We were here to celebrate my friends Birthday and our experience was terrible. The waiter was very stuck up and made sure to make fun of us throughout our visit, especially when we asked for prices of the wine. Would not recommend.

It wasn't what I expected for the price of $27.95 plus surcharge. I had to taste it first so I ordered the squid and octopus for 4.95 . It was just ok. I walked out and went cc buffet.

All the way from the east coast, and never have I ever had a worst experience. First, I paid $37 total for just 16 pieces of sushi, oh and the "All you can't eat buffet" I suppose it's half way worth it if you consider that you will pay $37 for 16 pieces, but even this option is $30 PER PERSON. But hey, it's not just the prices that are god awful, but the sushi even taste worst then some Wal-Mart deli Sushi. To top off all of this, the waiter even added her tip into my total before even giving me the opportunity to give her one... highly disappointed and highly recommend ANY other place BUT this one.

It's a decent place with good taste of the food. The prices are also good given its Las Vegas. We tried vegetarian dishes and were happy with all of them. Servicing took longer than expected but it may be because we visited the place at 10 pm in the night.

We had a flight to catch at 12am. We called the restaurant and placed our order over phone. By the time we reached the restaurant the food was ready. The food was very delicious.and the service was great.we had ordered 4 different items and the gravy for all 4 items was different.Would recommend to try this restaurant if you are in Vegas and want to try awesome typical indian food.
