Reviews
It all started at the check-in. I get there around 2:45. I had reserved the player's suite. I'm told its not ready yet and that it has to be cleaned but that they were on it right away and that i'd be CALLED as soon as it was finished. An hour goes by and no call. I had to go back myself and inquire about it to a very rude male staff member who had had his head down (studying I guess?) since the last time I went to the front an hour prior. I could barely comprehend his grumbles as he handed me my keys.
Biggest irritation is what follows after. I go about my day at the casino and do some gambling, get some drinks, etc.. About 4-5 hours go by and I go back to my room to order room service. They get to my room with the food and ask for my ID. Oops, can't find it! Well, it turns out it was at the front desk the whole time. Not ONE employee thought to text/email me to notify me that my ID was at the front counter?! I'm just blown away by the incompetence of the staff at the front desk. TWICE, they failed to call me when they SHOULD HAVE. I was stressing out, looking for my ID all over my room when it dawned on me it was at the front. I just can't believe all the staff up front are so inconsiderate/inexperienced at their jobs that they were UNABLE to contact me. They had my contact info!
Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at this establishment again for the completely unprofessional and inept staff.
The other hotels beat el derado out on food but since they are connected it’s a simple walk to the other side!
Overall enjoyed our experience here
Not. Its a very nice 3 star with lots of good food/ restaurants. Great cafe also. But the pool is tiny and offers limited shade protection. There are cigarette butts and cans all around the property. There are no smoke free areas. Fixtures and furniture are from the 1970s. Its quite charming and in a great area.
