Hotels in Reno

The hotel layout is very confusing and is not ADA compliment. But the security guards and front desk staff were really nice to help guide us around the place.

I wasn't sure if this was a blood spot on the counter next to our bed I did try to clean it off but it wouldn't come off and there were moths in the closet by the bathroom

I love the hotel circus circus !!!

I had some noise issues from ventilation otherwise everything was ok.

Everything were good but I was a bit disappointed with the size of the room. We got the 2x King room suite, the room space was too small as a suite, it's just like the size of a regular hotel room but the bathroom's very spacious. Very clean carpet and jacuzzi tub. Toiletries are not good quality, bring your own.

Would have given 5 star rating but disappointed that five of the six fitness center’s treadmills were broken and internet did not work in the room. The hotel was clean, rooms were large and comfortable, fitness center was very good (except treadmill issue).  Would stay again, though.  I believe that the hotel will fix these issues soon.

We were in a newly renovated room which was beautiful. Had a great view.

This is being sold as a 4 star hotel. But it is Not. Its a very nice 3 star with lots of good food/ restaurants. Great cafe also. But the pool is tiny and offers limited shade protection. There are cigarette butts and cans all around the property. There are no smoke free areas. Fixtures and furniture are from the 1970s. Its quite charming and in a great area.

Overall, I don't have major complaints about the rooms themselves here. A little dated in some aspects, but the stay was fine, if a bit spartan for the price per night we paid. However, it was things like the pool closing at 7:00 pm, the constant second hand smoke (at least not in the room) and the typical "gotta walk through the casino" feel for it all. Definitely trying to be a little Vegas experience...

I love my stay there. Went to visit family and got a room. Room was clean but not as big as I would have liked. Video poker machines were hot for me. The VIP Gold room had awesome drinks too. Friendly staff.

Very clean, beautiful inside, pet friendly. Must I add there's a starbucks on the casino floor. All the staff was super friendly and didn't have a problem answering my questions in depth. We stayed there for 3 days because my son’s karate competition was held at a resort next to it. My son lost his iPhone, someone returned it to the lost and found and we got it back, Jessica at lost and found was so nice and helpful. We had such a good experience there, from the front desk, room service crew, valet parking, security, all were so friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

No signs on directions to registration or elevators to hotel stay. Registration clerk or service clerk did not give much instructions to help with our first stay. We had to dig it out of her. Just said scan QR code??? We also didn’t know we had to Scann our card key to work elevator. Instructions were labeled in the elevator, other than out of the elevator before we entered. 

I usually love staying at this hotel but on this trip I had lots of trouble. Special events took up all parking spaces and I had to park off property after cruising for 30 minutes with no space available. The pool area was having a rock music beach party until 11 pm on the night I was departing and needed to wake at 5:30 am for my flight. The service worker are great it’s just the hotel feels run down. Our shower had no pressure and water temp could easily be too hot or too cold with a slight twist, our cold water faucet knob came off. The diner below had good food for the price. Good location for where our meeting was. Morning was noise with sound of the train. For a Wyndam hotel I thought it would have a fridge as well.

I loved staying here it was warm and I almost slept in all day

Stayed for 21 days. Area is a bit sketchy. Had to keep asking to clean room too.

The place was clean and the room was clean also. Unlike some of the reviews I read there were no signs of any kind of smoke on the 8th floor. I did not see anyone begging until I was leaving. Overall My stay served its purpose without any issues.

The real estate and location are very beautiful & park like with views of Sierra Madre and warm inside the rooms not dry desert warm, real warm compared to some places you could be in Reno. Room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Sheets are dirty and have makeup stains. Makeup stains on walls. Nicotine stains on walls even though we asked for non smoking. Very dated. Old bulky television. Carpeted floors have stains. Bring lots of disinfectant/Lysol wipes if you're staying for more than a few days. Very nice hotel with convenient parkings right behind the rooms. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool a lot. Facility is super clean and rooms are big and well equipped.

Overall, the stay was good. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The hotel's location is convenient. The only minor drawback is that parking costs extra. It would be ideal if free parking were available.

Everything is great. Good customer service. Excellent Location. Clean rooms. The complementary breakfast is ok and surprisingly the coffee was good. But the noise of the freeway is bad. Other than that if you can sleep through the night with the noise will definitely recommend it.

The staff was helpful at all times. Even maintenence was great for room issue. Staff was alert early morning while i waited on a taxi at 3 am for my 5 am flight.

Overall good stay, was only there over night but it was nice being so close to the airport to fly the next morning.

Very nice place to stay.even for one day. It is so relaxing that it fully energizes you. And not to expensive. And it's right behind the TA sparks. Not even a 2 minute walk. Well worth it. Only thing is it does not have a microwave in room. And the casino restaurant's are all expensive., But the food at Pancho and Willie's is something to remember.

The hotel is older, but kept in good condition and is clean. The casino is fun - and you can still smoke in it! The air is not smoky though - clearly they have good filtration. The steak house and the mexican restaurant were truly top-notch - you won't want to miss out of trying those. Be sure to get on their rewards program before doing any gambling to get the most out of your experience - have fun...

We went there for lunch. It was really good! They have a nice variety of slot machines. After lunch we decided to play a few slots and I quickly won $1400 jackpot with just $20 in. Very fun!

We visited Western Village and gambled some and then ate at their steakhouse. This is one of the best smokey casinos I've ever been too, which was refreshing! Stayed for only 2 nights for my daughter's wedding. From the time we checked in and through out our stay, the customer service was excellent! The food in the cafe and Ponchos were delicious and very good value!! We will definitely recommend Western Village highly!

Enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping staff not friendly at all. Front desk Ashley was AMAZING always making sure we were taken care of. Breakfast was good but the tables even after being wiped down were still sticky at at 3 different tables and the same at all. Overall stay was good. Enjoyed the pool meanwhile it was freezing outside having an indoor pool was great.

I've stayed at this property previously and in the last few years it has declined and not been updated, refreshed or renewed. It's a little depressing and neglected. The staff was not friendly and it was common for the floors to be mopped while breakfast was served which makes for slippery floors and a smell of cleanser.The overall feel is one of apathy.

Toilet was dirty - there was a ring in the bowl. This is inexcusable, since it is not hard to clean up. Also, there was no lotion in the dispenser

The employees are extremely helpful and go out of there way to accommodate you. It's much better with the new staff they have. It's clean and there is always someone there to go out of there way for you.. I highly recommend starting here.

I've stayed at them all. This one is by far the nicest. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nicer area. Odessa at the front desk is amazing and as sweet as can be, as are everyone else there. Next time I'm here, I know this will be the place I end up staying, and the price is unbeatable

Connie was there when I checked in. She is one of the best employees they have at the motel she goes above and beyond for the customers. She very kind and friendly. She is also very respectful and caring. I had a lot of luggage with me and she help me take it to my room. Amazingly kind staff, good location, and nice facilities. I do not hold many high expectations for any sort of lodging, however I do hold fire safety and maintenance of safety equipment to high regard. My smoke detector was disabled and covered with a plastic bag. Fire safety is a priority for me, seeing that and having to mitigate the issue myself was not ideal. I was so pleased when we got to your motel six in Reno. We got a handicap room. It was so clean and everything was just right. One thing I really loved is that the parking was right at our door. This is the closest I have ever had to my room. The host were great too. Even called our room to see if everything was ok. Will tell others about our great stay.

I was satisfied for the most part it was clean didn't smell and they are very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely recommend this particular motel 6 to others. I would choose this motel 6 over the others that are located in the same city.
