Baymont by Wyndham Fayetteville I-95 in Fayetteville

I want to start by saying the the staff was really awesome, they were accommodating late at night and the breakfast was nice and included in the room cost. However, the rooms were outdated, the air in the room did not seem clean and we all having trouble with coughing. Finally, it is the only Hampton inn that I've seen that was motel style with entrances from the outside and the outdoor spaces were very unclean with several spots of sticky spills. Overall, the hotel was acceptable, staff awesome but not what we've come to expect from a Hampton Inn.

This hotel is in decline. I would take that into account when looking at the average score. While scores in the distant past have been good, more recent reviews have been overwhelmingly negative. This was previously a Hampton Inn, and a Red Lion Inn.

I paid $47 per night through the blind purchase site Priceline (April 2020) . This was a low price, but ultimately not a good value.

This hotel was advertised as having a pool, business center, free breakfast/coffee, and fitness center. None of these amenities were available. You can see the emerald green slimy pool on Google Maps.

This hotel was unclean, to the point of being unsanitary. The housekeeping was unacceptably poor. We stayed here under duress for lack of any ready options. We saw 1 (thankfully dead) roach. I did not find any bedbugs. The towels, and bathtub had a previous guests' hair on them. The walls were stained, and no apparent effort had been made to clean them.

The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean and in good condition. The alarm clock did not work. The rugs were filthy, and stained your feet and socks black when walking on them.

The front desk staff however was pleasant, and had a great attitude. I advised her to find different employment.

I would not stay here again, unless no other options were available.

The rooms smell very bad! When I’m entering the room next to the ac the carpet completely wet. The ac running on 62. And cannot be changed! The carpet strip on the wall fallen off! Sink, bathtub plug missing! Bathtub slippery. 2 very small Big towel included. No Fridge, no microwave. The space have but missing both. All of the neighbor room very loud! ( This is not the hotel fault ) After 5 hr stay early in the morning checked out. This is not the first stay cheap hotel, I’m like the Wyndham hotels, but this is horrible. Around another hotels 20-25$ more but way better!

I will NEVER EVER stay here again. My room was unclean and old. There was no microwave or refrigerator and I haven't even started on the live and dead roaches. Woke up to use the bathroom and two baby roaches crawling on the floor. The hot water in the sink did not even turn on. I went to brush my teeth and another baby roach came falling from the faucet. Disgusted is an understatement. I was also unable to charge my phone by the bed because the adapter port behind the bed had a dozen of dead bugs. I don't complain about much of anything because I try to find the good in anything but in this case there wasnt anything. I spent $72 plus for this horrible experience. I stayed up all night because I was too uneasy to sleep. I did make a complaint to the the front desk attendant however the young lady seemed unbothered. Please consider staying somewhere else and stay away from room 117!!

1st of all the front desk staff was great, helpful and friendly, as for the rooms, we rented 2, one was cleaned but did have a small and stained carpets. The other had not been cleaned, one bed was disturbed, there were no toiletries or towels and a dirty washcloth was hanging on the shower rod. It also had the smell and stained carpets. We got a refund and went to another hotel and was satisfied.

Will not stay here again. Could not connect to the internet, could not use the air conditioner as it had a horrrible smell. No shower in the morning as the faucet handle fell off when trying to turn it on.
