Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh North in Raleigh

Very hard to locate and get into. When we did finally check in to our room there were no towels. I had to go back to the desk several times before we got anything. Even though the room is very large and like a mini suite it was not the cleanest. Several gum wrappers were on the floor and there was snot on the wall in the shower, along with body hair. It definitely wasn't worth the money especially when it advertises that it has its own restaurant and it does not, it has been close for a long time. And also does not serve any form of breakfast whatsoever and the coffee area that they talk about it's a little pre-made pot sitting in a small corner. No I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone, Especially since there are so many available in the Raleigh area to choose from.

Last week, I booked a last minute Southwest Airlines Vacations package to take my daughter on college tours in the Raleigh-Durham area. Overall, the flight was fine and the Hyundai Santa Fe rental car was very comfortable and high tech.
However, the Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh North hotel was such a disappointment!! The place was dirty - the walls were dirty, the elevators were dirty, the glass doors were dirty, paint was peeling off, the carpet was filthy. There were ants walking around in the room like they were our uninvited roommates. We stayed for two days and housekeeping did not enter our room.
The garbage was piled up in every garbage can we passed.There was a random green tooth pick in the front elevator that never got picked up. I greeted it every time we entered the elevator. It's probably still there. At some point during our stay, someone dropped salt packets in the back elevator. They were still there when we were leaving. There was a strong smell of weed near the front elevators on the bottom floor. We smelled it again when we got on the top floor where our room was located.
We arrived at the hotel at about 2am and as we tried to fall asleep, we could hear people talking through the walls. What has happened to Sheraton hotels?
To top it off, I had the most horrendous experience with the front desk. As I said, I reserved this room through Southwest Vacations. The front desk called me twice early in the morning on checkout day because 'there was something wrong with my credit card.' After I answered the second phone call I told the woman I would be right down and went to take a shower. She came upstairs and knocked on the door again!!! She insisted I give her my credit card so she can run the charge. I had never met this woman before. Long story short, I went down to the front desk where they insisted I call my credit card company. There is nothing wrong with my credit card! I called Southwest Vacations even if the woman insisted that the hotel had no affiliations with Southwest Vacations. I was on hold for a long time while they worked it out. Since I was late for my appointment I paid the bill and continued on hold with the agent. I went up to my room and the woman from the front desk was right there by my room door. We gathered our things and got out of there. The Southwest Vacations finally came off hold to tell me that he had worked it out with the front desk and that I would be refunded for the extra amount I just paid. Talk about horrible hotel customer service. Why did the woman insist I call my credit card company? Why was she by my door? Why did the hotel not call Southwest Vacations after I showed them my itinerary and my credit card statement? Ridiculous. I will not be staying at this chain, again. Sheraton needs to take a close look at the situation in that hotel.

I’m actually staying here right now room on the third floor today 09/14/2022 I’m 100% not confident about staying here or my belongings when i leave the room! But i will start with the good thing about this hotel THE BAR!!! Besides that nothing

The room safe don’t work
The closest door is missing the balcony door is stuck and will not open
Stains on the curtains
For $130. A night for this its ridiculous
The room really needs a good cleaning
