Staff was unprofessional and lied to my face about giving me my deposit. They all insisted they gave it to me. I didn't have the time or energy to fight their claim. I feel scammed. They do not save any record or proof that you were given your cash deposit. I do not recommend this place.

Every time we stay, we ask for the room right next to the managers room/house. It's guaranteed to be quiet (no noisy neighbors, at least on one side - can't guarantee the same for the other side but luckily the walls are not paper thin like a lot of other hotels. Countertops are granite, newer modern furniture, clean bathrooms. Owners were very accommodating when the city had taken up a quarter of their parking lot and let us park our truck under their carport and then moved their personal vehicle to the street to let us park next to our room. The woman owner was especially sweet and kind to my 5 year old son and when his gumball got stuck in the .25 gumball machine, she gave him 4 quarters in order to get more gumballs to compensate.

Being a stranger in this town , I felt very lost and desperate at times. With the help from the management and staff, I was able to feel at home with their directions and knowledge of the local area.....Thank you again staff and management...

This motel was good for a night's stay, and that's about it. The room was clean enough for the most part; save for the bathroom, which had oddly colored stains on the wall and ceiling. I didn't feel right showering there myself. There was one actual red flag that kept me from giving this room a better rating; there was no smoke detector. Instead, in its place, there was a square hole with exposed wiring; so effectively the opposite of a smoke detector.

I'll be honest and say that I wasn't expecting much in this part of town, but the room was WAY overpriced for what it is.

Cons:
• Damp spots on the floor
• Hair on the sheets and towels
• Clogged/slow drain in both sink and tub
• The person above us was pacing back and forth NON. STOP. Until 230am. What the hell is there to do in a hotel room where you're walking back and forth across the room nonstop for literally hours on end? I think not knowing why they were doing it bothered me more than the fact they were doing it.
• The floorboards of the person above us we're VERY squeaky.
• Black mold on shower curtain
• No clock
• Wifi was slower than dialup
• Was $80/night

Pros:
• You could probably do shady things here and blend right in.
• Our cars didn't get broken into.

I'd stay again if it was $20/night. But I'd still bring my own sheets and pillows for the bed.

In one of the worst storms to happen in Portland, stuck from abandon cars, freezing outside and no way to get warm or get home we found this hotel online through booking. Although we had a master card and could book online the man wanted $150 cash. I asked if there was any other way to put a cash deposit down on the card because I didn’t want anyone freezing outside, especially my kids. He let me know there is a sign on the window for cash deposit only and I was out of luck. I obviously didn’t see the sign ONLINE.
With a card on file and could get the cash in just a few hours due to everything being shut down from the storm, it was a too bad so sad from the man at the front desk. “Get a room tomorrow” No help at all.
But really ?!!! I took my business somewhere else!!
Given the circumstances just be out of the cold and even willing to pay more than what online said just to be warm… I felt … it was plain out cruel.

Lipstick stains on the sheets, god-only-knows-what stains on the towels, spider in the bathtub, unknown gummy and sticky spots on the discolored carpet. Hotel staff seems to be a one or two man operation, as we were greeted by a man in his PJs upon our late check-in. The TV had the wrong remote and therefore was not usable, but there was a working microwave and mini fridge. I'd spend the extra fifty for a good night's sleep.

It's a beautiful place to stay and it's not expensive
