Motel 6 Memphis Northeast in Memphis

Got a stay for one night, picked up my key and went to get food. When I finally got in I did my regular bed bug checks and when I lifted the mattress I found a knife underneath. Went to the front desk to report it and ask for a refund, the guy was extremely rude and said all he could offer was another room because I’d already had it a few hours. It’s a freaking knife ! Be serious. Stay away from this place, never in my life have I experienced anything like this.

The front desk lady was very rude. Racist to anyone who wasn't her race, we saw her handling a few different customers. Went in to set our things down after being treated like dirt, and there's a sticky counter.... this tells me they don't clean. So I move the couch.... ROACHES everywhere. A few little ones scattered, some that were about an inch long were dead, but they DO NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS. there were Cheerios, jelly beans, various crumbs, wrappers, etc. So they're FEEDING THE ROACHES. We recorded a video to show the front desk lady, but it was a man this time, we show him the video, ask for a refund, he tries to get us to take another room..... if one room has ROACHES the WHOLE PLACE DOES.

Roaches and bedbugs everywhere I will post videos now. I tried staying in 2 different rooms both had roaches and bedbugs. The lady at the front desk was very rude and tried to charge me 50 extra dollars to extend my stay. Disgusting place to sleep. Anyone that is 5 starring this hotel is either friends or family of the hotel please don't waste your money here

Don't stay. Dirty, broken lamps, dirty bathroom, no coffee pot, just awful. Only stayed bc i was traveling for several hrs and was exhausted. AVOID!!

Don't stay here! One star because I can't put a half star. The half star goes to clean sheets, (or, so they appeared to be). The rest...gross, broken, falling apart, 1960s throwback furniture and TV. I took pictures because I knew no one would ever believe me. Yes, I even included the TV which is an analog tv that seems to still use tubes to get a picture. There are holes in the walls, gaps in the floor boards, pieces of wood (painted) in the shower corners to keep water from going in the corner, a ring in the toilet from not being cleaned water dripping from the faucet (has been dripping a long time as evidenced by the discolored tiles and grout). I can't believe that America's Best would allow their name to be affiliated with this place. What an embarrassment. Oh, and it doesn't matter if you ask for non-smoking or not, the entire place is an ashtray.

so stayed here the other night and never again... the phone didn t even work for us to call down to the front... and as you see in the pics our room was just nasty... the only thing I didn't get a pic of was the broken night stand and the burns all over the carpet... I know I stayed in a smoking room but the burn marks was everywhere I keep thinking the burns were bugs or trash or something... never ever again
