Highly recommend this affordable motel. It is relatively modern with spacious rooms and nice, clean amenities. The staff are excellent and parking was easy.

The staff locked the doors at 10 AM so I had to use my key just to get in to go to my room to finish loading my vehicle. She said she did it for safety.

The hotel property is enclosed by barbed wire fence. Didn’t feel safe staying at the property.

Have stayed here before and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable, pleasant stay in Memphis.

The room was nice. View was not nice as it was to an empty lot that was not clean. The elevators were quite frightening as they moved and bounced a lot more than normal. The staff was great and very helpful. Area was decent, close to attractions and Beal streets

Economically priced, safe hotel
Arriving to the hotel was kind of a surprise. We did not expect a razor wire fence around the lot (not typical where I’m from), but after some time there, it was appreciated. The building is not pretty on the outside, but the location was convenient for us, the staff were very friendly and the room was nice and clean. There are a lot of homeless in the area, just something to be aware of. None bothered us at the hotel though. The breakfast left much to be desired, we went to nearby cafes and coffee shops to get some decent food instead. It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for something reasonably priced near the local hospitals or downtown area, and don’t mind the other things I mentioned above.

We had to switch rooms because the first one smelled strongly like smoke. After that the stay was pleasant

Um, cleaner would be better
Non-smoking hotel, which is fine as we do t smoke. Get to our room and the bathroom smelled STRONGLY of cigarettes. The smoke detector appeared to be working but was dangling from a wire several inches below the ceiling, not flush. And there was a large dead bug on the carpeted floor.

We enjoyed the hotel for the quick overnight stay. We wished it could have accommodated a pool given the hot summer in Memphis in August.
