The room was beat up and rundown and the mattress for the sofa bed was absolutely disgusting. Furniture was broken and damaged. The sofa bed mattress had what appeared to be dried blood on it in addition to mold/mildew and other unidentifiable black specks.

Staff was nice room was very out dated. The room heater was very very loud and the cabinet doors for the fridge and microwave felt like they were falling apart the shower water pressure was horrible and the room was not cleaned well found chips on the floor around the couch not a great stay for the price very disappointed and will not stay there again or recommend to anyone.

Everything feels thoughtfully arranged, from the bedding to the lighting, and it has that “boutique” vibe without trying too hard.

Amenities are another highlight. The property delivers on the basics that actually matter—reliable comfort, solid in-room features, and a generally well-maintained environment that feels clean and upscale. It’s the kind of place where you can show up, unpack, and immediately feel taken care of.

Location is where it really shines. It’s extremely walkable, making it easy to get to restaurants, cafes, and downtown attractions without needing to fuss with parking or rideshares. If you like exploring a city on foot, this is an ideal home base.

Service is mostly good, with one caveat: it can be slow at times, especially during busier moments. That said, staff are generally responsive once you connect with them, and they’re helpful and professional when you need something. Overall, it’s an enjoyable, comfortable stay in a prime Richmond location—and one I’d be happy to recommend, especially for anyone who values walkability and a higher-comfort hotel experience.

As I was using the hairdryer, it caught on fire and burned a patch of my hair on top of my head. The dryer was too old. Everything else
Was good.

The rooms are beautiful. Massive! But there are threadbare towels rough sheets. Pillows were delivered without pillowcases. Our room was described as having full size fridge microwave etc. none were apparent. Disappointing

Dark room. Only “window” looked onto a fire escape landing and wall, so zero natural light in a room with black walls. Bleh
