Altair Boutique Hotel in Samarkand

This little place on an unassuming street in Samarkand is the best hotel I’ve stayed at! The building is beautiful and clean. The Registan is about a five minute walk away, and the bus stop for getting to the train station is a ten minute walk away. The breakfast is outstanding. It’s a set, unlike the buffet offered seemingly everywhere else, but its presentation is gorgeous and I was never hungry for lunch. There are some variations from day to day and they make alterations for dietary restrictions. I enjoyed every bit of it. All the staff I interacted with were excellent. The receptionist was helpful and very fun to talk to. I would 100% stay here again!

The location of the hotel, being in a secluded alley, but close to all major attractions was ideal. The staff were super, especially Asad at the front desk, who was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. Super large bed and very comfortable mattress.

The rain shower in my room was cracked and spritzing all over from multiple points when the shower is on. However, I informed the staff and they took a look immediately and promised to fix it ASAP.

When I saw so many five-star reviews, I was actually a bit skeptical at first.
But after checking in, I realized the comments were not exaggerated at all.
The hotel staff are attentive to your needs — breakfast is served within five minutes of sitting down, and on the day of checkout, they came immediately to help carry and fix things as soon as I stepped out of the room.
They always greet you with a big smile. Highly recommended!

Probably the best service at a hotel I have ever had in my life. The kindest staff, quaintest courtyard, and beautiful quiet setting.

Great AC, warm showers and good sized rooms. The ONLY con (if you don’t like it) is that the beds are the hardest I’ve ever slept on. I would have liked it a tad softer but still slept well.

The staff alone deserves 6 stars, incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The hotel is small and pretty and is very well taken care of. The location is also great, being only a few minutes walking from the Registan.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Very accessible to all the main attractions in Samarkand. The staff are friendly especially Assad. He's very helpful and always greet you with a smile. The rooms are super clean and well maintained. Breakfast is not buffet but huge servings and different varieties. Definitely worth the stay.

Had such a lovely experience here. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from bringing me medicine when I felt sick to extending breakfast timing to accommodate us. The location is perfect--just 5-10 minutes walk from key attractions, yet the hotel itself is incredibly peaceful and quiet. The rooms include all the desired toiletries and the cost can't be beat. A nice little surprise is the affordable gift shop at the check-in area, with great prices for gifts and souvenirs. This is a hidden gem in Samarkand. The hotel tucked in a small alley. Upon entering the hotel, the ambience was great and welcoming. Asad from the front desk was a lovely guy, very accommodating and well spoken. The hotel has all the basic covered and hearty breakfast. It's also in close proximity to all the main attractions of Samarkand. Would strongly recommend this place to any traveller!

Very chic boutique hotel in the centre of Samarkand and within walking distance to all hotspots. The hotel was very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was not a standard buffet breakfast but was prepared individually and freshly for each guest. I also have to compliment the staff. Very courteous, very friendly and helpful with all kinds of questions. They even prepared an extra breakfast pack for us at 6am as our flight was so early. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Hanifa Boutique Hotel.

We had a great stay at Hanifa Boutique Hotel. The staffs are very hospitable and speak excellent English. When we had a little issue with our room, they immediately took actions to solve it for us. On our last day, we needed to check-out early before the normal breakfast time. The hotel double checked our departure time and prepared packed lunch box with tasty burger and coffee! I highly recommend Hanifa Boutique Hotel to everyone visiting Samarkand.
