Good location near registan square
3.5 stars if being generous A 3 night Adventures Abroad tour stay from 27 April in room #216. A 2 story hotel, so no lift; but the eager porters got our bags up the stairs efficiently; and collected them on our departure day. A quick and professional group check in too. The hotel is in a very good location for many of the key Old Town sites. Rooms not facing the road would have to be quieter. Our std...
One positive about this hotel is their location. It is within walking distance of Registan Square. Our tour group spent two nights here. We had a triple bed room. Room was okay. AC made awful clanging noise one night waking us up so we had to turn it off for a while. Beds were okay, but not really comfortable. We didn’t have a walk in shower, only tub with shower head. Needs to have a safety bar for...
The hotel is very well located for visiting the old town. Unfortunately, the room smelled terrible, as if someone had been smoking in it for a hundred years and the windows had never been opened. The mattress on the bed was a disaster, if you could even call it that. It was like sleeping on a wooden cot. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly prepared. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel
Third Asia hotel on our tour. Like the two before this one (in Khiva and Bukhara) three stars. Nothing lavish in any of the three our tour used. The location of the Asia Samarkand is sort of out of the way and in a fairly dismal area. Mattress quality poor and basics in the bathroom. However, this Asia had a shower instead of the almost two and a half foot high tub which is very hard to enter and exit...
This is the most old fashioned hotel I’ve ever stayed in . The decor is revolting. Everything clashes and is from the 1970s. There’s no lift , be warned . Unless you want to drag luggage upstairs ask for a room on the ground floor. There was one hard pillow and an empty duvet cover. The bed was extremely hard and the air conditioning very temperamental. The shower was over the bath but on the plus...

Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price. The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended. Also there...
We had to extend our stay and decided to stay at the same hotel for practical reasons. The room is clean and convenient, they provide water bottles and Ahmed tea which is the best. The only thing missing is a bidet in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. The location is central, a few minute walk from everything you need to see in Samarkand. And a 15-minute drive from the train station. The man working...
The hotel is in a good location, close to the Registan, about 15 minutes away. The breakfasts are good. There's a spa, one hour a day, free. Overall, you can book it with confidence.
100 out of 10! The hotel is wonderful – the location, service, cleanliness, and breakfast are top notch! The owner and staff deserve special thanks. Farrukh is the perfect host, always positive and happy to help and offer advice. A nice bonus – the spa is included! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
Nice place, close to Registan square. Nice room and nice service
Great location only minutes away from the amazing registan square. Breakfast selection is wide and recommended and a large variety of cold and hot options. Fairly priced. Overall the room is small, walls are thin, hence easy to hear sound of the hall way. Further, upon check in, the hot water kettle is used with water and black liquid inside without cleaned - mentioned to the cleaning staff, remained...

This hotel is only a 20 min walk to Registan Square. It is adjacent a main road but double windows in the room does cut the noise. The breakfast looks okay from a distance but is not particularly wholesome. Good value overall
The hotel's location is good, about a 10-minute walk from both the Registan Square and the Gur Emir Mausoleum. The hotel is older, and the facilities are a bit dated, but they're still usable. The hotel didn't provide drinking water or hairdryers, but they were available upon request at the front desk, though I think it's better to have them. The breakfast was okay, with mostly cold dishes except for...
The hotel is fine. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The room and bathroom were a good size. Heads up! The pool is seasonal. It says so in the description, but I booked specifically because of the pool, using that as a filter in my search. The decor is dated, but it's a comfortable hotel with everything you need. The shower pressure was a bit low. Some hotel staff playing on their phones on the reception...
The hotel service was excellent. The staff were very friendly—they allowed me to check in early and even arranged an early breakfast so I could make it to the airport on time. It was great value for the price.
The service is amazing, very helpful and kind. The location is great, close to the airport and railway station, and to historical places. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is very ok.
The hotel is more business like. Efficient staff in reception. The rooms are well furnished. The breakfast is an average deal.No option for dinner. The hotel is well located near the landmarks.

Best hotel of my trip in Uzbekistan. The hotel itself is an attraction; every corner is "Instagrammable" and the location is unbeatable. Beyond the beauty of the building, the staff are wonderful. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even offering tea and snacks while I waited out a rainstorm in the lobby after checkout. Really make my day on a rainy day.
Pros: 1️⃣ Fantastic location, most major attractions are within walking distance. 2️⃣ The hotel is incredibly beautiful and very photogenic. 3️⃣ The bedding is super comfortable. There were three of us, and even sleeping haphazardly on one bed, it felt spacious, and the room itself was also large. 4️⃣ Although it showed fully booked for both days, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. 5️⃣ The breakfast...
Overall, it's pretty good. Hotels in Uzbekistan are generally expensive and not great value for money, especially international brands. So, compared to others, this hotel is decent. It might be a little old, though. When I first entered the room, there was a slightly musty smell, and I had to open the window to air it out.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed! The service is excellent, the staffs are friendly, helpful & attentive, the architecture and interior are exceptionally beautiful, the location is top notch, you can walk to Bibi Khaym & Registan Square. The hotel offers traditional spa which is a plus point. Can’t recommend this hotel enough to everyone who visits Samarkand
The hotel is excellent! We only stayed for one night, and we were very sad to leave. The hotel has a beautiful modern design, is clean, has friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, is quiet, and has a great location (walking distance to all the attractions). We highly recommend this hotel, and if we visit this beautiful city again, we will definitely stay here.
Definitely worth it! The hotel is beautiful and quite clean. You can also enjoy a free sauna experience. The location is great, making it super convenient to get around, and the breakfast is good too. Highly recommend!

I stayed for 5 days. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The ambiance(very peaceful and feels like home), foods (especially fresh fruits) and Kudos to the staffs Mr Abbos and Mr Suhrob, they are very attentive, kind and helpful to us. We really appreciate all their efforts and help during our stay. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel and take note it’s just 5-10 minutes walk going to Registan Square.
Right in the middle of town is this gem of a hotel. Great Service and always willing to help. Heated rooms and English-speaking staff. Very cool neighbors with no interferences enjoyed my stay. Location just around the key Registan Square WiFi everywhere
Located centrally, helpful friendly staff. Booked through agoda at last moment, paid a higher price , 15 usd per person per night without breakfast is appropriate. Multiple breakfast options all around, cam skip hotel breakfast. All rooms don’t have air conditioning, need to specify while booking in summer.

The location is excellent. The owner is fluent in English and very kind. The breakfast looked delicious, but the serving time was late, so I ended up not having it. Perhaps because it's a family-run business, someone was always in the common areas, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
I picked the right one! Helpful and nice owner makes my stay so easy. You can go to any main attractions on foot. The room is nice feeling so homey. Thank you for the hospitality!
Great place to stay in Samarkand, it is close to the most important sights. Hosts are very nice and helpful, breakfast is so good! We will definitely come back!
The place is amazing! It's located in the center, but a little hidden, so it's always quiet there. It is very comfortable and the atmosphere there is nice. It’s like being in a village with your grandparents. If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay at this place.
Very great locations and helpful staff. Unfortunately room has carpets and I am allergic to carpets. Overall nice experience
The location is absolutely top-notch, and the service is incredible. They speak fluent English, so there are no communication issues at all. If you get to know them well, they'll even recommend some local spots that only the locals know about.

The room was a bit tired and in need of an update. The showerhead wasn't working properly, with weak water pressure and water spraying everywhere. There was also a clog in the shower, causing water to leak underneath. Basically, I just managed to get through one night.
It's a beautiful place, room is clean. However here and then got electric issue, but other than that all is good. Staff is helpful, but they dont return your balance when you pay by cash (in my case is for the tourist tax). Location wise, very strategic. Less than 10 mins walk to samarkand square and to restaurants/store.
The night receptionist (very tall, young man) was very helpful. He solved all the issues and tried to help me. This was very good point. I thank you again for him. But the facility , room and breakfast was not good. I am sorry to say this but I stayed in better condition hotels with less price until now in Uzbekistan. So I can't say it was nice stay here. But the workers were good.
They're cutting corners on everything here. If you're not among the first for breakfast, you'll either get nothing or have to beg for everything, and there's no guarantee you'll actually get it. There's no water or kettle in the room. The toilet paper is like sandpaper, and the bed linen is awful and smells of sweat.
Facilities: A bit old. Location: Tucked away in an alley. Cleanliness: Decent. Service: Good. The little white note indicates they can open (the room/door) proactively. They allowed an early check-in, and adding just 5,000 won for breakfast was a great deal! I recommend taking a taxi here; otherwise, you'll never find the place.
Great location, the room is huge. Good breakfast, free coffee and tea during all day

Excellent location of the hotel as all the monuments to visit are walkable and it is right behind Rejistan Square. Staff were also very friendly. Over all a family friendly restaurant. The room size is a tad small but it is a good budget restaurant. Breakfast they served was delicious, especially their small sunny side up eggs. I hope in the toilets they make a bidet or a water gun as these are very...
Too bad there are no windows. The hot water is a bit weak. The location is great.
The hygiene is average, and getting a room is very slow and frustrating.
It's very close to Registan Square, and you can basically reach other attractions on foot, which is very convenient.
Not bad, close to the scenic spot, cost-effective
It's not bad for one or 2 nights only. It's mostly bed and breakfast style, nothing more at all. Good and helpful reception, clean rooms, and near to some services. it is about 15 minutes to Registon Square. I couldn't have the breakfast because it's available for a short time, around 90 minutes, and there was no tea, coffee, and water in the room, only kettle. Unfortunately, there was no window in...

Could be improved. The property is a bit dated but in a great location.
The hotel has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to Registan Square. The decor is quite stylish, but the room amenities are basic, especially the bathroom. The showerhead couldn't be adjusted, so the floor was flooded after showering, and the water temperature kept fluctuating, which was quite frustrating. The room's soundproofing was poor; I could hear laughter and snoring all night. Breakfast...
Similar to other reviews, the drain had a strong odor, and the soundproofing was average. Aside from that, everything else was fine. It's very close to Registan Square, and the area around the square is lively. However, there's no free shuttle service; they just help you call a taxi. If there's no one at the front desk, you can ring the bell.
Very nice hotel, clean room and friendly staffs. It is also not far from the main touristy places. Very recommended to stay here!
Hotel Malokanda is conveniently located in the old town, making it very easy to visit major historical sites. The area is quiet and suitable for walking around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it is a good choice for sightseeing in Samarkand.
The location is great, only about a five-minute walk to Registan Square. The rooms are clean, bottled water is free, and the staff are very polite.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, close to Registan Square, historical sites, and Siyob Bazaar, all within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights. This place is located within the Registan Square so super convenient. When I checked in, there was no one at the front desk so that was a little bit of a trouble. However, room is simple and good. Shower is good water pressure and toilet is fitted with bidet. The sound proofing of the room is quite bad but I think it’s not very necessary because it doesn’t get too noisy.
No air conditioning since w/o remote control provided. That day, outdoor temp reached 27/28, room temp 30+ under the sun. Intention unsure? The hotel refused to issue the Registration Record upon check out for foreigner, may result to penalties while leaving UZ at Immigration !

Excellent service. We didn't have breakfast included, but they accommodated us and provided breakfast. They also helped with transportation 👍🏻💯
Prime location, just steps from the central square. It's a charming, unpretentious property. The rooms overlook an interior courtyard/terrace; they're basic but spotlessly clean! The staff is absolutely fantastic!!! Highly recommended!
The staff was kind and helpful. However, when I tried to turn on the hot water, reddish water that smelled of iron came out. If I used that water to take a shower, it would obviously make my body smell worse than before, so I couldn't take a shower. Other than that, it was a fine place to stay.
…pros and cons: PROS - great location, which allows you to see the Registan (a few steps away) at different times of the day. Nice atmosphere, where you feel at home CONS: the structure is under renovation, so breakfast is prepared and served in two rooms adapted for use. The furniture is decidedly worn. However, if you overlook the flaws mentioned above, it is a place where you feel good
We stayed at this hotel with our family of four, including two kids, and overall had a great experience. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from Registan Square, making it easy to visit all the main attractions in Samarkand without the need for long commutes. Good points: - Close to Registan Square, just a 5-minute walk. - Shops and restaurants nearby. - Staff are very friendly. Bad points: - Breakfast was minimal (many dishes but poor quality), the most basic of our trip. - Bad atmosphere. - Room was very small (no chair or desk) and dimly lit. - No kettle or refrigerator. - Breakfast venue (2nd floor terrace) was hot as it was exposed to the sun. - There...

Everything was great, I enjoyed everything, and the breakfasts were delicious. It's located close to Shah-i-Zinda, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good family hotel. The service was very pleasant. Breakfast was hearty. In the room with 2 single beds on the ground floor, the window view wasn't great (it faced the courtyard). Otherwise, everything was excellent.
Our home away from home. It for me is one of the best places to stay in Samarkand. Our host Zafar was the kindest person. If I could I'd live here. Thank you for making my wife and I's stay here so memorable.
The hotel's location is super convenient! It's about a 10-minute walk to the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, and a quick taxi ride to Registan Square. Plus, there's a supermarket nearby, which is great for picking up essentials. A special shout-out to Zafar – his excellent service and warm hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. There are so many ants, I almost became Ant-Man. There are ants on the floor, on the bed, and on the table. Ants, ants, ants, ants, I almost went crazy. If you want to sleep with ants, I recommend it. And there was muddy, yellow water.
The location is excellent. The hotel is new, but the rooms are small with low ceilings. There were long black hairs all over the room when we checked in. They were kind enough to store my luggage before check-in. It was easily accessible from Registan Square, so I was able to easily go see the sunrise in the morning. The hotel was clean, and the shower room had a door instead of a curtain, which was comfortable. The front desk staff were also very helpful. It's a shame that my train was early and I couldn't have breakfast.

Positive aspects: • The staff allowed me to check in earlier than the official 14:00 time, which was very convenient. • The bed was large and extremely comfortable. • Excellent location – only 5–10 minutes walking from Registan Square and other main attractions. • Staff members speaking Turkish made communication easier. The location, price, food, cleanliness, and quietness from Registan are all excellent. I recommend this as a place to stay for a two-day, one-night tour. It's especially great for viewing the Registan at night, the highlight of any Samarkand tour.
It's really convenient to be able to walk to places like Registan Square. However, it's located down an alley and can be a bit difficult to find. Good option next to the Registan Great location. Very good service. Wonderful breakfast. Need to upgrade bathrooms.
Hotel Minor is a great option for staying in Samarkand. Rooms are clean and comfortable, location is great, and the staff is kind, responsive, and respectful. The rooms are indeed a little old, but the amazing rooftop, delicious breakfast, and generosity of the staff make up for it.
Great hotel, very central, great staff Hotel located next to Registan square. Very nice rooftop terrace with beautiful view of the square. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
