Samarkand, 1 House 20 Khudzhumskaya Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very nice place, nice atmosphere, nice owners!
A prime example of outstanding hospitality! Outstanding value for money, good rooms, and owners as friendly as you can imagine.
The B&B has a decent environment, but when I checked out, the B&B lady asked me for 30 US dollars of tax that was included in the room rate, which made me a little confused. Since then, every hotel has had to charge extra money. I think they did it on purpose. They asked for more if they could, and if they couldn't, they would forget it. Bathrooms in hotels in Uzbekistan are generally clogged with...
The hotel's WiFi signal is weak, and there is no signal on the mobile phone card in the room. The shower facilities are easy to use, the water is hot and the water volume is large. The breakfast is relatively simple, and the service attitude is good. The hotel is a family hotel with some rooms around a courtyard.
A very good place, very cheap, a few minutes walk from the center.
It's a little way to the main street, but from there it was convenient to all tourist attractions. The room is bright and clean. The bed width is a little narrow. They prepared something different for breakfast every day, and I'm glad I stayed here because they took care of me in various ways.

Samarkand, Mullakandov ko'chasi, 140100 Samarkand, Uzbekistan (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel Samarkand Ali offers a comfortable and authentic stay in the historic city of Samarkand. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions such as Registan Square and Shah-i-Zinda. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of sightseeing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with directions...
It's very close to the attractions, about a 10-minute walk.
The staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly.
The house is cleaned daily. It's a great place, highly recommended.
The price is also very reasonable.
There's air conditioning, but the temperature was comfortable at the time, so we didn't use it.
The room was clean, with a beautiful courtyard, typical local style, the owner was kind and hospitable, there was 24-hour hot water, and it was close to the main local attractions, just a few minutes' walk from Registan Square.
It offers good value for money, but the owner is a bit strange and difficult to communicate with.
The service is good, the price-performance ratio is good enough
good one!
even there was no view at all in my room I was pretty happy with the place. quiet and safe, privately owned place. english was not very used. breakfast: average, but good and healthy. near of Registan square (7 min walk), some restaurants nearby. parking: free, if you succeed to find a spot. good option for sure!

The hostel is very clean, the hosts are friendly, they cook home-cooked food for breakfast on time. They were able to check us in late at night and were always in touch. It's quiet around, the beds are clean, the shower is clean, the amenities are minimal, but for a couple of nights it's enough. The main attractions are within walking distance
Very friendly hosts with a great locations to the main sites in Samarqand!
The owner was very helpful and professional. Supporting team Ms. Zara and others were very supportive and helpful.
Very polite staff, great location and breakfast to choose from👍
Central location, a bit hard to find at first.
Recommend you get your taxi to drop you off at the nearby monument and walk from there.
Very clean rooms and helpful hosts.
Cleanliness and hygiene is very good. Within walking distance of historical sites. There is an owner who is helpful and helps you with everything. Breakfast is sufficient and you choose from 6 options, the owner of the hotel prepares the breakfast himself. I advise.

New, clean, and comfortable. There's a large smart TV with access to YouTube and other apps. Being able to use the washing machine was a big plus. The location is within walking distance to Shobhabazar.
Amazing hotel! Wonderful hosts. They offered tea and coffee upon arrival, huge, clean rooms with wonderful high-quality bedding and snow-white towels! Convenient location. The market and main attractions are a 15-minute walk away. A microwave and washing machine are freely available. The rooms have EVERYTHING for a comfortable stay! If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay there again....
The location is convenient. The owner arranged a room on 3/F and he helped me to carry the luggage upstairs. The room with double doors so the sound insulation is good. The carpets are pretty. Can watch YouTube and Netflix on TV. Air-con, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and toothbrush are provided. I wish to use the kettle but I can’t find proper socket except near the bed and under hair dryer in toilet...
A truly wonderful place to stay, a great location—very close to the Registan. Excellent rooms, beautifully renovated and with a balcony. Comfortable beds, everything you need for a comfortable stay. A wonderful, pleasant, and welcoming host greeted us, explained everything, and showed us around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse! I highly recommend it!
Ended up staying here for four nights due to food poisoning (unrelated to hotel) and the owner was so helpful, even came with me to a local hospital. Room is very modern and extremely clean.
Firstly, the hotel is not clearly marked. There is no "HOTEL" on the door, so it doesn't look like a hotel at all. Secondly, when I navigated there according to the address on Ctrip, I found that it was actually a rural area, a deserted place. What a rip-off.

Samarkand, So'zangaron ko'chasi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had a fantastic stay in this guesthouse and the warmest welcome ever.
All the family is simply amazing and the middle boy is smart and incredibly competent for his age (12). They helped us , the other guests and also tourists they met on the morning of the triathlon race when all the roads were closed.
We will always remember their spontaneous hospitality and their kindness.
Very very highly recommended
The hosts here are amazing people. They are very kind. We got stuck in Samarkand because a race was on and they closed all the roads. They noticed that we were distressed and invited us into their guesthouse to relax until the roads opened again. If you stay here, I can guarantee that you will stay with very kind, welcoming and helpful people. Thank you for your hospitality! :)
This was without doubt my best experience in a guest house in Samarkand. The house and every room was very tastefully designed with obvious passion.
Cleaning was continuous and impeccable.
The family owns the place is simply wonderful! This ensured that I always felt at home.
I sincerely hope to be able to return very soon.
This is a very nice place: The rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean and in great shape. It is a very quiet location, but not too far from the city center. And the hosts (English speaking) are extremely friendly and helpful. I can definitively recommend it.
By far our favorite stay in Uzbekistan. This family run hotel is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and has big, comfortable rooms, amazing AC, and the most helpful [English speaking] hosts you could ask for. The breakfast was delicious, too! Thanks for making our time in Samarkand so pleasant- hope to visit again soon. Keep up the amazing service!
Khasanova Mavlyuda with her granddaughter. A week ago. Very good, comfortable guest house. the host and his family are very hospitable. May Allah multiply their good deeds. Inshallah. I advise everyone. Looking forward to next summer. To meet these good people)

Less than thirty minutes walk to the typical tourist spots, and close to a major bus hub. It's close to some decent schwarma places and supermarkets, so this is a convenient spot if you don't mind some exercise on your way to see the spectacles. The room is nice, comfortable bed and great shower. No kettle or fridge unfortunately. WiFi is good. All in all, can't complain - I had a nice stay here.
This place is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming and friendly , it's a clean place to stay and the breakfast is nice and the hotel is affordable and very enjoyable.
The room we stayed in was for four people. The beds were too close together. Our room was warm, but the worst part was the lack of running water in the toilets. It was absolutely torture. What age are we in? In the most spiritual city of a Muslim country, this deficiency is unacceptable.
Fantastic hotel! It just opened, so everything is brand new. The owner, Damir, is very kind and accommodating. We were traveling with an elderly family member, and they kindly moved our room from the 3rd floor to the 2nd to better suit our needs. The staff is friendly and eager to assist with any requests—we asked for a kettle, and though it wasn't a standard offering, they gladly provided one and...

The host is very nice, the service is very polite, I am very happy.
We really liked the beautiful new hotel, everything was great, special thanks to the guys for their hospitality, and special thanks to Muhammadzhon, the admin.
The location and room renovations are excellent! However, the breakfast is disappointing; the selection isn't extensive, and besides tea, hot water, and coffee, there's no warm food. Everything they have is cold.
The best place to relax, all the amenities are there, the breakfast is delicious. The service is excellent 👍
Location is the best!!!! The main thing is hotel staff uis professional!!! And can speak in russian and so many foreign languages breakst is best

My mom and I had a great stay at hotel Han. It’s located within a couple minutes walking from the registan, but still in a quiet side street, so it was very quiet. We could visit all the sites in Samarkand on foot. The room was quite big and very clean, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast really good. Highly recommended!
One of the best hotels we have stayed at in our entire trip to Uzbekistan. The rooms are super clean and fresh and the yard outside gives a very calm and peaceful vibe to the place! Our guesthouse owner was the kindest and sweetest person who helped us a lot throughout our trip! Highly recommended property as the location is also very close to Registan Square with lots of shops and markets nearby.
Really good for pleasant stay host are Really friendly and helpfully
The B&B is located in a small village opposite Registan. The location is very good. It only takes five minutes to walk to Registan Square. There is a sign at the door, but it says not HAN but XAN. My first hostel in Samarkand, Fariidun and his Father are nice, the lady is also kind person. They have the best hospitality, comfort room, and delicious food also.
I will return here when i come to Uzbek in the future.

The location was excellent and Mr. Furkat went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The accommodation is perfectly situated, with all the main sights of Samarkand just around the corner. And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding.
It’s a dreamy place full of old stuff: wooden crafted doors, furniture, carpets, and other things. The breakfast is migrating from place to place, every time it’s different. They have a rooftop with a nice view, and a shady garden.
It’s dusty though, and the rooms are a bit tiny, but if you stay there a couple of days it shouldn’t be a problem. Wi-Fi was good in room N11 on the second floor.

First the best thing about the Hotel: It's located in a small side street right next to Registan, most of the attractions are reachable on food. I stayed at this hostel while in Samarkand recently. It’s definitely not a modern hotel, but it’s charming nonetheless. A haven of peace and tranquility, with unbelievably delicious homemade breakfasts (and evening meal if you choose to eat here). Aziza and her sister and family are the epitome of hospitality and helpfulness. Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious and excellent WiFi throughout. Excellent value for money and in good location. Would highly recommend.
Clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful owner and staff, delicious food for breakfast and dinner, much locally grown. All served in the garden, very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.
