Hotels near Gorodishche Afrasiab in Samarkand

The hotel is a bit out in the middle of nowhere, but you can get anywhere quickly. The facilities are very elegant. The room cleaning leaves a little to be desired, but it's adequate.

The hotel is not in the city center, about a 35-40-minute walk from the center. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was modest, as the hotel is sparsely populated in winter. We tried the pool, but you need to book in advance. The sauna was good, and the pool was warm. The only downside was the dripping ceiling due to poor ventilation.

I don't feel like doing it again ㅡㅡ

The hotel is apparently new, the furniture still smells like new paints. The bed is quite hard, so it's a little uncomfortable. I recommend it. Association of the Club of Restauranteurs of Kazakhstan

The trip to Samarkand became even more beautiful with Bogishamol! Everyone left a great impression on the guests who went. Special thanks to Sardar brother! The service, everything is great!

The hotel's location is super convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and directly opposite Shah-i-Zinda. Breakfast was also delicious.

Me and my friends had a comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a supermart 5-8mins away from the hotel and it is near one of the attractions. Literally you just need to cross the road.

I loved this hotel so much that I chose to stay here again after returning to Tashkent from Samarkand. It's run by Chinese owners, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is delicious and palatable. The surrounding environment is excellent, and both the city and the hotel left me with wonderful memories.

Clean, spacious, and great! It's right near the tourist spots.

Location is perfect for sightseeing. Hotel room is also very clean.

The hotel is excellent, everything is just super, thank you very much to everyone, Abdugani Shukurovich, thank you very much 100/10, new excellent hotel

It's a single room, and the beds are too close together, so I don't mind being a little uncomfortable, but the breakfast was so terrible that I gave up after two days.

Everything is great but, service should be developed!

Everything was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful. It was very clean. We will definitely come back.

I liked almost everything, if you don’t take into account the minor downsides

Nice hotel, conveniently located. The room has everything you need! Helpful staff, delicious breakfasts! I recommend it!!!

The best place in Samarkand very clean excellent service and we walked to everywhere. We couldn’t have picked up a better place to stay

This was the most satisfying hotel of my entire trip. I initially thought it was only close to Chaisinda, but it turned out to be surprisingly close to all the main attractions! Chaisinda is right across the street, and to the right of the hotel are the bazaar, Bibihaneum, and Hazrat. Other attractions are also within walking distance along this road. (The taxi took me to the back of the hotel, which...

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. The terrace and pool areas were relaxing and wonderful to rest after a full day walking around the city. The whole place was clean and well maintained. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Amazing location The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, hotel was cozy and beautiful inside.

Great location with seasonable price and wonderful place

Fantistic hotel , with good location and price. Each room has amenities, facilities and features in it.

The room was a bit tired and in need of an update. The showerhead wasn't working properly, with weak water pressure and water spraying everywhere. There was also a clog in the shower, causing water to leak underneath. Basically, I just managed to get through one night.

It's a beautiful place, room is clean. However here and then got electric issue, but other than that all is good. Staff is helpful, but they dont return your balance when you pay by cash (in my case is for the tourist tax). Location wise, very strategic. Less than 10 mins walk to samarkand square and to restaurants/store.

The night receptionist (very tall, young man) was very helpful. He solved all the issues and tried to help me. This was very good point. I thank you again for him. But the facility , room and breakfast was not good. I am sorry to say this but I stayed in better condition hotels with less price until now in Uzbekistan. So I can't say it was nice stay here. But the workers were good.

They're cutting corners on everything here. If you're not among the first for breakfast, you'll either get nothing or have to beg for everything, and there's no guarantee you'll actually get it. There's no water or kettle in the room. The toilet paper is like sandpaper, and the bed linen is awful and smells of sweat.

Facilities: A bit old. Location: Tucked away in an alley. Cleanliness: Decent. Service: Good. The little white note indicates they can open (the room/door) proactively. They allowed an early check-in, and adding just 5,000 won for breakfast was a great deal! I recommend taking a taxi here; otherwise, you'll never find the place.

Great location, the room is huge. Good breakfast, free coffee and tea during all day

The room was very nice, as was the bathroom. The location was very quiet, and I slept very well (the only slight downside was the constant noise from the two fog machines in the room). Breakfast was good, and the pool and the surrounding area were also very nice. The manager kindly cleaned my room an hour before the scheduled time. The location isn't ideal, but that didn't bother me.

Great hotel with a very friendly staff. They will provide whatever you needed. Good breakfast though it same everyday especially this strawberry jam. If your looking for relaxing place this highly recommended with great ambiance outside. It's little bit far from main city but still if you get taxi using yandex it's very cheap and if it's good weather u can do some walk nearby tourist spot...

The room itself was clean and in a good condition. Breakfast was a set meal yet a substantial one. Bathroom was a bit smelly, which unfortunately seems to be the norm in Uzbekistan. Bed was a little bit on the hard side. The biggest downside is the location which is inconvenient, far from most sights and restaurant options, so solely because of the location I would recommend to stay elsewhere unless...

I chose the hotel because of the pool and the jacuzzi and they are not in operation, there is nothing nearby, always going to and from any point by taxi, the breakfast was good, varied and abundant, although the next day the same thing was repeated, the room as expected, it is clean and the receptionist is attentive

Perfect hotel - new, breakfasts are tasty, central square is very close! Also where are bicycles and swimming pool!

We stayed at Nippon Hotel for over 20 days, and it was an amazing experience. The manager treated us very well and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

The owner supposedly speaks fluent Japanese, but she was out. The female manager doesn't speak Japanese, English, or Russian at all. Communication is limited to Google Translate. When I dropped off my laundry, she returned it still damp and unfolded in a bag, so I had to hang it out again. I'm a bit lazy, considering laundry dries quickly if I do it early in the morning. There was no hot water kettle...

The owner apparently speaks good Japanese, but he wasn't there. The manager, a woman, can't speak Japanese, English, or Russian at all. Communication is only through Google Translate. When I took out the laundry, it was returned half-dried and still in the bag without being folded, so I let it hang out to dry again. If you do your laundry early in the morning, it will dry quickly, but you can call...

Great location. The hotel is new, clean, and well kept. The bath is extremely spacious and comfortable. Wifi is also fast. He spoke both English and Japanese.

Great location! The cleanliness of the rooms and the hospitality of the owners make us want to come back again! A pleasant area inside the yard where you can spend time.

Beautiful, good hotel. Close to REGISTERN.

The courtyard setting for meals and relaxing makes this old, traditional house hugely atmospheric. Run by the enthusiastic owner, it caters mainly for small groups of French tourists and independent travellers of all ages. Rooms comfortable and adequate. Can be a little noisy if other guest stay up late talking. Typical Uzbek breakfasts, with lots of fruit, yogurt and eggs. Located in a quiet area...

This is a very very nice hotel with great atmosphere. The owner was extremely helpfull and managed to regain my mobilephone lost in a taxi through endless negotiations. What a helpfull man 😊 Room are nice and clean, breakfast is Well server - everything is totally fine 😊

Absolutely loved the experience! Please note that this is an authentic hotel, it is not your usual 5-star Western hotel that one might expect from it. It is not an Ibis or Ramada. I booked through Telegram through friends' recommendation. The owner/manager was super helpful, arranged me taxis, booked restaurants, helped me with the train tickets even. The rooms are pretty basic, they have the aircon...

Comfy beds, building had loads of character, owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, fabulous breakfast. Bathroom a little rickety - toilet didn't always flush properly and shower covered the bathroom floor! otherwise would have been a 5-star review. Part of the building was under renovation at the time of our stay, but this didn't cause us any issues whatsoever and we were pleased to see this...

Hotel has nice rooms, a beautiful courtyard and provides delicious home made breakfasts. Aziz is a great host and makes the best plov we’ve had in Uzbekistan!

We had a great time with Aziz, he was a great host. Breakfast was amazing and we had his Plov cooked by Aziz. Place is very central, walking distance from main attractions

This is an amazing place run by truly kind and genuine people. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm, family atmosphere and the positive attitude of the hosts. The rooms are very clean, just like the rest of the property – you can really see the attention to detail and care in every corner. The location is also worth praising – charming and convenient, perfect for a relaxing getaway....

Me and my family stayed here during our visit in Samarkand. The owner and his family were very attentive and hospitable. The location is great and close to everything, and our stay was reasonably priced. We highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Polite staff and very good food. I would really recommend it!

The location of this property is fantastic. 10 mins walk from Registran and with several shops and cafes nearby. The hosts were very kind and always eager to please. I highly recommend this place.

The host is a very gentle man and his family members are so kind. The kids of the host are very friendly. We recommend everyone to stay here because the location is close to all tourist spots so anyone can easily walk and cover mostly everything within one day.

A great hotel with a very helpful boss Mr Shaliq Location is great. Within walking distance to Bibikhanum Mosque Syiob market Hasrat Khirz mosque Shah I Zinda and Registan Square. Very recommended if you are visiting Samarkand

The room was very warm, and the location was excellent.

Great hotel, would stay again! Location is excellent, in front of the Bibikhanum Mosque and daily Siyob Bazar as well as walking distance to anything in the city. Their taxi service from the airport worked well even in the middle of the night. You can buy a SIM card at the front desk. The rooms are toasty and warm even in cold weather. Beds are a little hard and the walls are thin so you can sometimes...

The view of the Bibi Khanym Mausoleum was unbeatable. We loved spending our evenings on the terrace, soaking in the beautiful scenery 😍The room was clean and comfortable, though the service could be improved for a hotel in this price range.

This is an extremely well located hotels with nice service and rooms. Great air conditioner. Breakfast had a good variety and us served in the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view. They don't take credit cards so bring cash. They wanted U.S. $.

Right next to the mosque, great location. There is also a supporting restaurant with good food and a great view. The breakfast is rich. The room has an exotic feel and is worth going back to.

Very well decorated hotel!. Full of antic ornaments. The owner collect beautiful old stuffs which is so amazing. There were many paintings and old clothes and old lamp in my room. The room is a museum and gallery. You will sleep in the museum 😁 This was very special experience!

Great place with super kind and hospitable host. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The guest house located at old town, 20 mins to train station. The guest does not provide kettle, cup & tea in the room but they do have self service kitchen. The owner is easy to communicate. He has provide us a map. Most of attractions are walkable. Registan Square is abt 1km away. Art Cafe & Cafe Bobur are worth to visit.

It's a very nice guesthouse, very clean, located near all attractions in Samarkand. The room is very spacious and the owner is very helpful and speek very good english. There is also a shared kitchen.

Excellent! The room was very large, spacious, and warm. It was also very clean and quiet at night. The location is great too, just a ten-minute walk to the square.

The owner was very welcoming, and the location is good, about a ten-minute walk from Registan Square. There are no restaurants nearby, only small convenience stores. The guesthouse does have a small kitchen.

Very nice place, nice atmosphere, nice owners!

A prime example of outstanding hospitality! Outstanding value for money, good rooms, and owners as friendly as you can imagine.

The B&B has a decent environment, but when I checked out, the B&B lady asked me for 30 US dollars of tax that was included in the room rate, which made me a little confused. Since then, every hotel has had to charge extra money. I think they did it on purpose. They asked for more if they could, and if they couldn't, they would forget it. Bathrooms in hotels in Uzbekistan are generally clogged with...

The hotel's WiFi signal is weak, and there is no signal on the mobile phone card in the room. The shower facilities are easy to use, the water is hot and the water volume is large. The breakfast is relatively simple, and the service attitude is good. The hotel is a family hotel with some rooms around a courtyard.

A very good place, very cheap, a few minutes walk from the center.

It's a little way to the main street, but from there it was convenient to all tourist attractions. The room is bright and clean. The bed width is a little narrow. They prepared something different for breakfast every day, and I'm glad I stayed here because they took care of me in various ways.

Hotel Samarkand Ali offers a comfortable and authentic stay in the historic city of Samarkand. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions such as Registan Square and Shah-i-Zinda. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of sightseeing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with directions...

It's very close to the attractions, about a 10-minute walk. The staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. The house is cleaned daily. It's a great place, highly recommended. The price is also very reasonable. There's air conditioning, but the temperature was comfortable at the time, so we didn't use it.

The room was clean, with a beautiful courtyard, typical local style, the owner was kind and hospitable, there was 24-hour hot water, and it was close to the main local attractions, just a few minutes' walk from Registan Square.

It offers good value for money, but the owner is a bit strange and difficult to communicate with.

The service is good, the price-performance ratio is good enough

good one! even there was no view at all in my room I was pretty happy with the place. quiet and safe, privately owned place. english was not very used. breakfast: average, but good and healthy. near of Registan square (7 min walk), some restaurants nearby. parking: free, if you succeed to find a spot. good option for sure!

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. They made me feel at home. Outstanding hospitality! The reception team was very professional and always ready to assist.

This hotel is right in the city center of Samarkand. The service is truly excellent. Both gentlemen at the front desk were wonderful, especially Diyar. He was incredibly kind, even accompanying me to a nearby Plov restaurant to pick up my food and then helping me carry it back to the hotel. Although his English wasn't perfect, he was genuinely a very good person. The other gentleman at the front desk...

A wonderful hotel with a convenient location. All the main attractions are within walking distance. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Upon check-in, we received a lovely welcome treat. The breakfast was a delicious buffet. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel! P.S.: A huge thank you to the reception team for the early...

A really lovely, pleasant hotel! Thanks to every staff member for your hospitality. You made our mini-break even better.

Excellent cozy hotel. All the sights are within walking distance. Breakfasts are simply wonderful. Everything is new and beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Samarkand. There's no elevator, but the staff are very helpful with luggage. The rooms are well-equipped with a welcome amenity, and they are clean and cozy. The location is excellent, right next to Siab Bazaar, Bibi-Khanym, and Shah-i-Zinda, with everything else within walking distance. This is the first hotel I've stayed at with a coffee machine and excellent...

The hotel is amazing, room is clean, breakfast is delicious. the staffs at the front desk especially whose name is Diyorbek are very friendly and helpful. Our suitcase is damaged and they helped us do the repair.

Right in the heart of Samarkand's tourist area, we could walk to Registan Square and other sights very quickly, which made sightseeing really comfortable. If you're staying multiple nights, being able to pop back to the hotel for a break during the day is a huge plus. The room was spacious, and the fantastic breakfast was also a highlight.

Room is clean and spacious. Also near to attractions as the mosque and within a short walking distance from Registan Square.

Great location, just a five-minute walk to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque and the bazaar. However, since it's on a pedestrian street, cars can't drive directly to the hotel. You'll need to walk about 500 meters from the squares on either side. (The nearby bazaar is huge, great for souvenirs, remember to bargain! 🙏) The hotel itself is quite new. The room interior is decent, nothing spectacular but clean and...

We had a great stay at Sangzor Hotel. The room was spacious, and the bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. They also allowed early check-in. Breakfast was amazing—especially the fresh fruits. The hotel offers luggage storage as well. The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk to Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym, and Siyob Bazaar, with plenty of nearby stores. The road in front of the...

The hotel has a classic decor and a good size. Its main advantage is the excellent location, close to all the major attractions. The front desk staff were also very elegant and polite, and the price was reasonable.

There's nowhere closer to the Registan. In the very center of Samarkand. The quietest place. Rooms for 3 people. Clean and tidy. Nice courtyard. Very nice hosts. Check-in is very fast. You can negotiate the price. You can get a good night's sleep - it's quiet... Very warm. I was there in February 2026. They answer the phone 24/7. Book directly by phone. I liked it!!!!!

Okay, but their interaction isn't very interesting.

I really liked this place. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. I recommend it to everyone!

I really liked your conditions 👍🏻

Excellent all amenities are there

Some rooms on the first floor are being renovating and the paint smells super strong, can’t even breathe and gives the real headache. There is no bathroom on the second floor, and all guests share three bathrooms just next to the gate .

All attractions are close in the center of Samarkand is located

The guest house is located near Registan, so you will have no problem going there by feet. It is a traditional house in a traditional mahalla, hence if you expect an actual hotel, it's not for you. As for the guest house itself - it is clean and worth its mone. In our room there was no climate control which can be a problem if you travel in summer. In winter though, it is very warm. The room did not...
