Hotel Gelikon in Tashkent

This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. When we checked in, we were given a room without a TV, but we were eventually moved to a room with no curtains or screens on the window. It's impossible to open the window, and the lights keep going out, so using the air conditioning isn't ideal. The floors, beds, and towels are all dirty, as if they hadn't been changed, and the photos clearly show it. We went for a walk and returned to find cockroaches scurrying around the room; we only captured an attempt to kill one. The cleaning lady walked into the room wearing her shoes without any embarrassment, so we had to wear them too. The only positive thing about the receptionist is the girl who's very friendly. The rest of the girls just stare at us like we're trash, but when they see a woman, for some reason, they immediately perk up and even say hello to me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VISIT!
