Black H'mong View Hotel in Sapa

I don’t recommend this hotel. The windows were in bad condition, and our room was really cold and noisy. We couldn’t sleep well. We also saw cockroaches in the bathroom. What’s more, the breakfast was very small and not very tasty. The only positive thing was that the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

We decided for 1 no smoking room with 1 kings size bed. Fortunately it was only one night. But let's start with things that were good. The owner was very sweet and nice, the localization is good especially if you want to visit local villages. Room was spacious and there was a shower cabin. So far so good right? Well now to the point. When we came to the hotel we were asked to pay in advance which we agreed to thinking it is because we stay only one night. Now i think the owner knew what she was doing. Room 301 was so cold that it was almost same temperature as outside. Windows were so leaky that we couldn't sleep due to the cold, wind and sounds coming back and forth through the window. In the room there is no heating or even small portable heater so there is no way to fight back with the cold. In addition in the morning we spotted few cockroaches crawling on the wall. For the breakfast we choosed the pankaces with chocolate and banana just to get informed that there is no banana and coffee with milk. We stickced to that choice and get a single crepee and bad coffee ( bad coffe in Vietnam is very rare). We were informed that we can choose only one option from 6 to choose for breakfast. So you can imagine that one crepee isn't enough for breakfast. Over all i would not recommend this place even for on night.

For a start this is not a hotel. They advertise that they have got a bar and restaurant. There is no bar. There is no restaurant no air-conditioning in the rooms they advertise that they do. we booked in for three nights spent the first night there the noise from outside was absolutely disgusting. or you could hear all night was the traffic going past and first thing in the morning traffic traffic traffic the towels in the bathroom were as Fin as tissue paper. They only gave us two towels no floor towel when we went out for the day and came back at approximately 3 o’clock. Our room had not been made up no fresh towels. We had to walk up two flights of stairs with our suitcase and when we returned on the first night. after going out for tea there were no lights on in the stairway and it was so dangerous walking up the stairs. I would not recommend this place. A lot of false advertising going on.

The room was very noisy. You could hear everything on the street like there was no window. We had to listen people singing karaoke until 10 p.m. and when truck went under our window (there is a lot of new hotels being build in neibourhood so there were plenty trucks) I thought the hotel will collapse. If you like sleep I can't recomend. Also the pictures ať Google doesnt match. The Red house is not this hotel...
